TTC - a relaxed thread.

I'm on cd37 and feel horrendous. Cramps, nausea, horrific backache for the past two days low down, exhaustion, the whole works.

I was so convinced that there was nothing else that could make me feel this way that I tested again tonight (I know.....) in the full expectation of getting a positive.

BFN!

So now I'm wondering if I have something else wrong with me like a kidney infection (cos of the backache). I went to bed at 7.30 tonight after taking cranberry powder and an ibuprofen. I have a 12 hr shift tomorrow which I'm dreading.

GP Monday. Hopefully she'll make sense of whats wrong with me.

Thanks everyone well after the small amount of spotting yesterday afternoon, AF hasn't arrived. Had a BFN this morning though. I'm normally like clockwork so this is late for me. I'm hoping AF stays away! I don't even feel like I'm due to come on... very weird!

Sorry to hear that Tamara, sympathise with how hard it is when you are happy for a friend but sad for yourself at the same time. Fingers crossed for next month eh? Hi cookies, sounds like you are a seasoned veteran at this! X

Hi Cookies-it's 3 years since mine too .

Sending a small wave.. been lurking as due to start ttc #3 but due to family circumstances we are leaving it a month or two. Wanting to get back into the mindset (and lingo, been 3 years since my second!!) wishing every one of you lots of well wishes this month

I think I'm out this month. I've started spotting . I really thought we'd done it this month. My friend text me on weds to say she was pregnant and today has messaged to ring her as she has some useful bits of info for when I'm pregnant. It's very thoughtful of her but just bad timing. I'm gutted about AFs imminent arrival and the last thing i want is to speak to my preg friend. Sorry for the rant, I've had no one else to speak to about it yet!

Cd36 and no sign of AF. So I guess I'm still in the race. Nauseated yesterday too. But this uncertainty is really getting to me. My head is mush!

I refuse to test anymore. I can't take another BFN as I've had about 4 this cycle. So I"m going to just wait out the weekend and then I'm due at the docs for something seperate on Monday so i might ask her to test then if period still hasn't come.

I've had a fair few symptoms this month but between a mild cold and a uti i dunno what to think. I'm due to test sat so I'm desperatly trying to hold out until then.

started taking folic acid yesterday. 12 weeks to go.....

That sucks, sorry Anna. I have been weirdly nauseous the last week so allowed my inner optimist to hope for the best. Nope, period arrived today and brought me smack down to earth. This whole TTC thing is really disheartening isn't it. I wish I'd realised when I was younger how hard it is to get pregnant! I wouldn't have been such a worrier!

BFN. Pretty disheartened tbh. I've been so symptomatic during TWW so I'm quite pissed off.

I guess AF is just taking her own sweet time. Going to have lots of wine tonight and put it all to the back of my mind.

When are you testing Anna? Love all the excitement!

Day 34.......no sign of AF....my last cycle was 34 days. Previous one 36. That means that it could still come tomorrow and be a "normal" length.

13 dpo. I'm really trying not to test but I may crack today. Its driving me mad not knowing!

I have been lurking and then got a new mn account.

currently 3 DPO i think if its a standard cycle, although when i conceived dd1 i didn't ovulate until a week after i should have.

Am 26, and DD is 17 weeks! Unfortunately everything didn't go to plan and she's a bit poorly and am desperate to have another one!

Has anyone else has been finding the boots pharmacy aisle has been sucking up all their spare cash? I had no idea getting pregnant was so expensive!

Jorah - Oh right, that's odd to spring it on you. Have you had one before? I fell asleep when I had one a few years ago! I'll keep everything crossed for you.

Tamara I'm really hoping all this crappiness is symptomatic, cos I don't have a cold or an infection, thats for sure. I normally don't feel much of anything mid-cycle.

But then again it could be just random body wierdness.

One things for sure, i am NOT buying any more tests! If they're in the house at all I'm like a woman possessed. They call to me from the bathroom cupboard. And its too early and I get a BFN and I get all anxious. I'm not due until Thursday so will just have to sit on my wallet till next weekend! The agony of it!

Tamara I don't know really. I didn't even realise I was having an MRI until I got the letter, they originally told me it would be a 10 minute CT scan... now it's a 45 minute MRI with the contrast dye and everything fingers crossed it's just an abcess or a cyst on my appendix or something... the alternative doesn't bear thinking about really.

Thanks Tamara, yup that's good advice. I've done two already cos I'm a muppet but I think leaving them for a while is probably sensible! Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope it clears up soon

Maybe leave the tests in the cupboard for now Breaking and see how this month goes. My cycle seemed to settle straight away and I was on the pill for about 8 years. I hope yours settles quickly! I'll have a nose at your blog later

I was feeling much better but this cold has knocked me for six. Bunged up and dizzy. But I've also been having sicky feelings at the back of my throat and feel like I do a few days before AF is due. I'm not sure until Sat, so it's a bit early to be feeling PMT. Who knows! I'm hoping it's all a good sign though!

I do feel for you Jorah. It must be awful waiting in limbo. How long until you get the results?
