Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

Ahhh good luck Ava and Wax!

Interesting finding for me this week. You know how I started taking Agnus Cactus at the start of this cycle (now cd 20) well I've spotted ewcm three days in a row now. I normally only ever spot ewcm 1 day before I peak. This must be down to Agnus cactus! Now on 10 days of flashing smileys (had 13 flashing smileys last month before seeing a peak on cd24). I really hope I see a peak earlier then cd24 this month!!

Good luck Ava! And lovely to have you in the 2ww club with me Smile

AF is due for me on 1 Aug - I'm lucky and seem to have a consistent 14 day LP. Quite a while til I can test though! I'm going to hold out as long as possible - for some reason I have a sense this isnt my month, so my hopes aren't raised, and I'm not as impatient about testing. Am thinking of giving it a go on Wednesday (12 dpo)?

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 24/07/2015 13:25

Thinking about you girls lots! C'mon ava's swimmers! blows horn

AvaAmulet · 24/07/2015 09:40

ISpy, what Mini said Smile I tend to take a charting break lately while AF is around as the readings don't tell me much anyway x

No sign yet, Mini, but last cycle was 31 days as I ov'd 3 days late so I could have AF arrive between now and Monday if this month follows last months patter. It's weird not knowing though. It's hard to know what to do for the best re charting isn't it? I get that it can add pressure, which can have a negative impact, but also, I find it motivates me to dtd when I otherwise wouldn't and it's so satisfying to be able to confirm ov (even though I'm still bf'ing) Don't beat yourself up about forgetting to temp, it's hard when you've already got a lo and other priorities. Prior to this month I'd been temping for a while, but I still manage to miss a couple of days. Don't worry about it, it's just a useful tool, and it's the overall pattern that's important Wink x

I'm not really expecting anything other than AF and as we only dtd once all month I doubt the quality of the swimmers would be very good Hmm x

MinisMama13 · 24/07/2015 09:10

B@!*$#% I forgot to temp this morning Angry

Cd15 today and had some ewcm yesterday but no + opk yet, it's not even close, so I'm hoping missing today won't matter! Ff says average ov is cd19 so it could be a few days yet!

Ispy I'm clearly rubbish at temping but I feel the need to confirm ov! I'm getting a surge but I did prior to being pg and I wasn't necessarily oving. I don't think it particularly matters when you start, if you're a few days pre ov you may see results this time, if not then it's good practice imo. My memory is atrocious though!

Pear I only decided to go for smep as after looking back through my charts I realised we did something very similar when we got preggo last time!

Ava any sign? My sister seems to think that charting is what is stopping me getting pg but I hate not knowing when to expect af and I find it too stressful so I'll keep going for now!

Wax 6dpo is more than halfway for me, stupid short lp! Do you think you'll test?

Soooo tired today! Made myself dtd even though I was knackered after work and an exercise class last night as I knew hubs was out tonight. Got work this afternoon too, yawn!

ispyfispi · 23/07/2015 21:37

Sounds like Ava is in the 2ww! When are you expecting af Wax? When will you test?
My app is working again, phew! I think I will start temping as I'm finding myself thinking 'if I ovulated, knew when I did, timed dtd right, then I should have got pregnant' I mean there are millions of swimmers, it only takes one, the only reason I can think of is that I didn't actually ovulate after my lh surge. Does it matter when in my cycle I start? Fx af stays away for you Ava!

waxweasel · 23/07/2015 10:34

Am I the only person in the 2ww atm? I'm 6dpo so still aaaages to go....

AvaAmulet · 23/07/2015 09:00

iSpy, I've had that happen to my app - I just dowloaded another random app and it somehow gor MyDays up and running again. Also, in my experience it's only temping that actually confirms ov (after the event) Wink

Thanks Mumo Smile

Haha Pear, I don't feel like I'm clinging onto the side of the bus atm, I feel like I've fallen off, given up chasing after it and decided to wave it off (I'll get a taxi to the next stop, lol) Wink

I am delusional thinking that, as we did dtd once, we are still in with a chance, but because it was about 5 days before I think I might have ov'd it is only a very slim chance. My boobs are tingling today so I think AF will arrive tomorrow, though (TMI, sorry!) Blush

The break from temping and semi-break from poas this month doesn't sit well with my control-freak nature and I'm looking forward to getting AF out of the way and moving onto properly charting the next cycle x

peardrop2 · 23/07/2015 08:34

So I was wrong. 9th flashing smiley today. What's interesting is that normally I only spot Ewcm one day before my peak and now it seems that I've seen it earlier. So, how many days do you ladies spot EWCM before your peak? Perhaps it's a good thing that I am seeing it earlier this month.

Oh and DH has agreed that we need to keep TTC through August even if it means we could potentially land with 2 May children in our house (plus me) and if we had twins there would be 4 of us in May Grin He said he might disappear for May and I didn't even tell him about the twin part Wink

Yay we finished thread 4 at last Smile

I'm currently dangling legs. Got very excited after spotting Ewcm this afternoon so I am literally praying that I see a fixed smiley in the morning!

Thanks to the person who explained SMEP to me! Can't remember who Smile I've been doing a similar method for quite a few cycles now.

Ava yes that's right...I hadn't forgotten you. You and me are the oldies left grabbing on to the side of the bus Grin Not for long though as I've rung the bell for us Wink Have you got any hope at all for this month?

Mumof1sofar · 22/07/2015 22:30

Ava I've got everything crossed it will happen for you soon.

Ispy I hope you can get onto your app again. If you're on an iPhone sometimes it helps to shut down every app individually then try & open it again.

Thanks trin. Hope everything's going well for you too.

Trinpy · 22/07/2015 22:09

Just popping in to say (a slightly belated) congratulations to auf Smile.

Also nice to see you again mumof. Glad everything's going well with your pregnancy.

ispyfispi · 22/07/2015 18:49

Maybe Mini. We cosleep usually but the tent is huge!
I'm interested to see how you get on with temping, I might give it a go next cycle too. I did get a fixed smiley last month but it doesn't necessarily mean I ovulated does it?

MinisMama13 · 22/07/2015 12:35

Holiday bean ispy? You never know although it could be tricky depending on your sleeping arrangements!

Remembered to temp 3 days in a row, Ooof! Not sure how accurate today's was as it was A) really early and B) after I'd been sort of awake for a few minutes although I hadn't moved I was just aware of mini feeding!

ispyfispi · 22/07/2015 09:57

So I've been back and marked last months cycle on my actual calendar in the kitchen and worked out when I'm likely to ovulate this month. It's when we're camping ????

AvaAmulet · 22/07/2015 09:40

Hi Mumo!!! So great to hear from you Grin

Sorry to hear you're starting to feel nauseous but it is a good sign! I suffered terribly with hypermesis with DD and I'd welcome it again with DC2 as it's a sign of a strong pregnancy Grin Wink

Next month will mark 1 year since I first posted on this thread so feeling a little Confused that it has'nt happened for us yet, but Grin that surely we're closer to our bfp now?! Wink

Good luck for the scan x

ispyfispi · 22/07/2015 09:36

Sorry about the sickness Mumo, it's horrible when you have a lo to run around after. I'm slightly freaking out here as my app has frozen with all my info on! I don't even know what cd I'm on! I'll have to go back through the last thread to make a note of what I wrote and when ????

Mumof1sofar · 21/07/2015 23:09

Lea I'm 9 1/2 weeks now & getting pretty bad nausea. I just can't wait for the 12 week scan so I can finally see the little bean & hopefully get confirmation everything is ok. How is everything with you? And pear & Ava - hope you're doing well Smile

lostindubai · 21/07/2015 20:26

Joining the new thread! I'm 36 and ttc dc2. Ds is 28 months and I've had regular AF since he was 10 months old. Now feeding once a day.

Not doing anything like charting yet, just seeing how it goes for now. Took over a year to conceive ds so will see if this time is any different.

Wishing everyone the very best of luck on this journey Smile

ispyfispi · 21/07/2015 20:20

Although dangly legs (and not getting right up to pee) gave me the most hideous uti/kidney infection last month so I'm not too keen for a repeat of that!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 21/07/2015 10:05

Thanks girls! :) Flowers

peardrop2 · 21/07/2015 08:39

ISPY - yes I always dangle legs for 30 minutes

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 21/07/2015 08:27

Ispy I always lay flat or with .y legs in the air after we hit the 1 year mark ttc ds and it still took another 9 ish months! I just thought the other night it's the downside to co sleeping as we don't dtd in the bedroom so inevitably I have to move and walk up the stairs lol

Leamice · 21/07/2015 08:22

How are you doing Mumo, any sickness? How at along are you now?

Mumof1sofar · 20/07/2015 21:51

Just checking in! How is everyone? I see congratulations are due for trin & auf Smile Great news!
