TTC and still breastfeeding? Thread # 5 - Positive Vibes!

I've always used the ic sticks. I had a cbfm for a while but I didn't always get peaks so resented paying for the sticks. I always did the ic's alongside anyway!

Thanks both. I've downloaded the app I used last time but have no data to put in it. It's 31 days since my last period. I've got cramping & pelvic pain but don't know if that means i might be ovulating, my af is on the way or nothing!! Makes it so much more challenging!!

Ava don't worry! I often re read after I post and wonder how I can edit! An awful night last night but I think a slight rise is fine as it was above every other one on the chart! I am 99% sure yesterday was o day but we shall see what ff thinks in a few days!

Pear yay for a 2ww buddy! Although my lp varies and is on the shorter side Ewcm definitely sounds promising! Mine varies so much and is sometimes non existent! Get dtd and everything crossed this is a super fertile cycle for you!

Nah I think that is the magic question tbh! I had really erratic cycles from Aug to Dec/Jan. Mine still aren't regular but I had issues with that pre baby 1!

Going to dtd tonight and hope that's enough! Tomorrow is going to be super busy so I doubt we'll get chance as insurance! Definitely had some hormone shifts today as I've felt nauseous which happened to me last cycle at about 6dpo. I was totally convinced I was pg but I now realise it's hormones! So that's one less symptom to looks for! I apologise in advance as I feel I may obsess this 10 day wait or whatever it is this time!

Speaking personally my periods were regular (28 day cycle) right from the first one I had when ds was 10mo.

I've not been on here long myself just started ttc this cycle. Wish I understood all the lingo! I do know what dtd is though and can't believe dp whinges at having to do it every other night. I know we're tired but still! Different story ten years ago hehe.

Hi all so I have a 9 month old & just started ttc number two. I still feed at night and have had one period last month. Anyone have any idea how long it will take my periods to return to normal? I have no idea if or when I will ovulate this cycle?!? I was regular 27 day cycles before I got pregnant first time.

Oh how frustrating for you pear! I suppose at least your body is being consistent in one way...so if there is a problem, it will be easy to spot from your charts if they all follow the same pattern each month?

Tomorrow is 10dpo for me...no symptoms here except I feel utterly exhausted and fell asleep mid-afternoon for an hour today. But I am suffering from a hideous cold and generally feeling crap so that could well be the cause. I'm going to try to hold out a bit longer before I test...

I don't know, Pear, I guess I'll have a better idea if AF doesn't arrive tomorrow. I think it will though.

Mini, did you get 3 hours or more of uninterrupted sleep before you took your temp? Don't be disheartened if it doesn't rise tomorrow. It is possible that your temp is following a staircase pattern, and will rise in increments over several days. Mine often doesn't shoot up, but follows a staircase pattern, where it rises a little then plateaues every other day until it peaks. It'll be evident in a few days time, looking back on your overall temps good luck! x

AF has yet to show up, but it am expecting it today or tomorrow, which means I probably did ov 3 days late extending my cycle to 30/31 days again, from my usual 27/28, the reason for which I am totally unsure It's likely now that I ov'd during the week following my hol, not during and the one time we did dtd was too long before ov to be in with a chance DH came back from our hol with a bad cold, and isn't 100% now, so we couldn't have dtd after the hol even if I was armed with all this info then anyway, unfortunately. So, with my intermittent cramping I think that's me definitely out for this month and I can't wait to start charting again! x

Pear that sounds exactly like my DH! Lots of ewcm sounds very promising! Fingers crossed you get your peak! I'm hoping taking vitamins aimed at ttc/pregnancy/bf will eventually help with ewcm as I don't get much, I never got much before though so I'm not holding my breath!

I'm thinking my temp from this morning isn't particularly reliable as I'd been awake on and off for an hour and a half before I did it but I refused to believe I was getting up for the day when mini woke me at 4:45! Yawn! It shows a small rise though so providing tomorrow's is up again I'm happy enough as judging everything else I ov'd yesterday. We've dtd every other day, including last night, will probably try tonight just in case though! Just got to hope it's enough!

Lea no dtd for us last night as hubs didn't get back until 3:30 this morning - he was designated driver and had to round everyone up!

Yesterday's was definitely a positive when I looked again (I know, I know, you're not suppose to keep them!) Today's was very close to positive but not as strong as yesterday's. Going to dtd tonight and tomorrow and then we'll see. I remembered to temp this morning and it hasn't gone up yet so I hadn't ov'd yet. I did just get some cramps so it may be imminent! Hoping mini goes to sleep easily tonight so we're not too late but he's been a bit of a pain recently so I'm not holding my breath!

Mini did you get another positive OPK today? Hope you managed to DTD!

Pear sounds promising to have lots of EWCM before Ov.

I had my blood test results back as normal so no thyroid or hormone problem, my scan is not for 2 weeks. I'll be lurking about to cheer everyones bfps on but don't think Ill be able to TTC until Ive been back to gps after scan as think i need medication to make me ovulate!

Oooo that sounds positive Pear! I've never looked intoit but maybe I should.

Well I've only gone and got a blooming possible opk (I think) this evening. Was at work so I didn't do it until 8. I have been know to get 2 days in a row of positives so we'll see! Hubs is out so no dtd here! Seems a waste!
