Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

She's the same star sign as you, and her EDD was 10th May, but she was actually born 2 weeks early Wink

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 23:48

Ava I thought DD was born in May? Why did I get that wrong?! Hmm. Thank you...good luck with the next few weeks. I know the wait for the scan is just as hard (and scary).

Good luck Mini and Pear x

Pear, I'm crossing everything that you'll be due in April too x

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 23:44

Thanks Mini, yes it was you! Haha! And yes, I did hold onto the belief that ecological breastfeeding would work out for us if it was meant to be, and we would hopefully get our bfp when DD was 2yrs 3months to give us the 'ideal' natural child-spacing 3 year age gap. And lo and behold, DD is 2years 3months today Grin

DD was born in April - it is a lovely month Grin

Don't think I'll be able to switch off my brain and go to sleep for a while yet Hmm

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 23:42

Mini you're more hardcore then me Wink I'm stopping at number 9 on peak day 2. Literally don't think DH of myself could cope with one more session of fun Shock

Everything crossed all the leg dangling works for you Pear! No leg dangling here tonight at all but I think I'm 2dpo anyway, just wanted it covered!

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 23:25

Trinpy - I so hope you're right, I want a April baby BlushSad

Oh mini. Tg I have someone to obsess with! DH is driving me bonkers!! He came up at 11pm again. TG this is my last dangling legs session. I have some weird pain in my left side that I'm quite concerned about now. Dtd was not comfortable at all Hmm It could have something to do with dtd 4 nights in a row. I think even my body is saying STOP! Roll on dpo 1 tomorrow!!

Oh my effing g! I go out for the evening and miss everything!

Huge congratulations Ava! Amazing news! And proof you can become pregnant while bf! That's a super strong line!
Oh and I peed on ov sticks the day before I got my bfp with ds but it was a faint line I got so I reckon you ov'd earlier than you thought!
It was probably me who was told I should relax but the relaxed approach has not got us preggo!

Pear I'm not relaxed at all this cycle so we can 2ww obsess together! Oh and randomly I had more cramps today. So that's Saturday and today. Random!

I'm totally rubbish and I can't remember anything else, sorry ladies! Dtd again tonight but I think that's it now!

Trinpy · 27/07/2015 23:13

Yay Ava I'm so so so happy for you. April is a lovely month to have a baby Smile. I hope you have an amazing and uneventful pregnancy!

pear - I reckon you're next Wink.

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:32

Thanks Dougal, night night x

DougalTheCheshireCat · 27/07/2015 22:30

Ava you have cheered me right up with your good news. Flowers all around, those with BFPs and those of us keeping the faith.

Night night

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:21

Maybe on a different thread though, iSpy?x

ispyfispi · 27/07/2015 22:20

We definitely need a graduation list now, I'm totally losing track!

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:18

Pear, you're next Flowers Wink

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:17

Thanks everyone Flowers The line appeared as soon as the urine hit again. DH is super proud of his beat-the-odds swimmers Hmm Grin

God, the irony that this hopefully my month!!!! Confused

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 22:16

Starting to panic as I really am feeling the opposite to the 'relaxed' approach this month Confused

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:12

Thanks Wax! I said we were twins a couple of cycles back! And your DD sounds so much like mine Grin she actually hasn't long fallen asleep Blush so she shared the total amazement excitement with DH and I, but she wanted to hold the test. "Er, you don't want to play with this, darling..." Confused

ispyfispi · 27/07/2015 22:11

Oh wow Ava, congratulations, this is huge news! I rather thought this would be your month!

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:08

I think I may have proved that -

A) the more relaxed approach might actually work (who's sister said recently that charting might be what's holding them back? Wink)
B) sperm can live for up to 5 days Shock
C) opks can be a substitute for a hpt when there's no other option Grin
D) you only have to do it the once - who'd have thunk it??!! Hmm

Please, like Pear's title encourages, send positive vibes! Crossing everything it's a sticky!!!

waxweasel · 27/07/2015 22:06

And that's an impressively strong line!

waxweasel · 27/07/2015 22:06

CONGRATULATIONS AVA!!!!! Flowers I am so so thrilled for you! So we were cycle buddies, and now BFP buddies Grin hurrah!! You are due 1 week before me Smile

Absolutely couldn't be happier for you. Will you tell DD? I told mine at the same time as DH, mainly because she accompanied me to POAS so there was no playing it cool. Her immediate reaction was 'open tummy please mummy, want see baby sister' then 'baby sister name Boy'. Er, ok then.

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 21:59

Dougal you make a good point although Ava roughly knew when she was OVing.

OP posts:
DougalTheCheshireCat · 27/07/2015 21:57

YAY! Congratulations Ava. Amazing. Maybe we should all ditch the charts, thermometers and pee sticks immediately!

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 21:56

April 2nd - feels so weird to actually be posting that after months of contemplating imaginary beans' EDDs! Honestly don't think it'll feel real until I poas on Friday with my digis...or see actual proof in the form of a scan....

Have any other graduates, especially those who have ttc for ages (like us), felt absolutely terrified rather than overjoyed when you finally get that coveted, elusive bfp??!! Shock
