Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

Mini - that's true, they don't always mean anything BUT my skin has really cleared up in the last 2 months and I've not had breakouts like this for a while so it's not making me feel confident Hmm I really wish I could be more confident! 3 more days and the misery of waiting will be over!

Ispy I'm hoping to learn how to wrap properly if we have number 2 as I got to it too late with ds after loving buckles!

Pear yay for a couple of hours to yourself and getting your blood test out the way!
The 2ww sucks! Although spots don't necessarily mean anything as I had horrendous skin when first pg with ds!

Well more hint of pink but only when wiping. I'd usually have proper spotting by now at 9dpo. That said I may have given into the poas temptation and it's definitely bfn. It was also 3:30 lol

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 13:50

Oh bugger boo. Just as my hopes started to rise I can now feel a very AF type spot approaching on my chin Hmm Stupid stupid 2ww! How cruel it all is Hmm

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 10:46

Ispy - Thanks for your sympathy. Thankfully the feelings have vanished this morning and I will keep up my water intake in hope that they stay away! What will you do? Buy more sticks or just monitor any signs and keep dtd?

Wow ispy you must have a back of steel! I've not heard of woven wraps. I must say I haven't seen any toddler being carried in a sling around my area. I can imagine my DS loving the idea as he always wants to be carried. He is so tall and heavy though I would buckle over if I was carrying him around for longer periods Grin

Aww Mini. I do hope it isn't spotting! I really hate how the 2ww gets your hopes up and then it all ends Hmm I am currently in the naive stage where I float around hoping I could be pregnant but also know that my floaty days could be over soon Confused I've had my blood test. Ouchy arm now Hmm I'm really glad I've got a couple of hours to myself now. Going to start on getting ahead with cooking and ironing Woop Woop Grin

ispyfispi · 03/08/2015 10:34

Yes I had a baby bjorn type thing with dcs1&2 which I could only manage til 6months or so but I discovered woven wraps this time and can still comfortably carry ds 20mo when he lets me!

MinisMama13 · 03/08/2015 08:51

Pear I'd like to be optimistic as it's not anything other than a hint of pink but I always spot for at least 2 days before af. I'll see how it progresses today as I guess you never know! I don't think I'll count it as spotting just yet as if I hadn't been checking CP I wouldn't know about it!
I still occasionally carrying ds in our ringsling but he generally fights me now. I carried him regularly until Jan/Feb time. We have had a few different slings and carriers as he got bigger. I weighed him last week and he's a giant so I'm not surprised I struggle when he's fighting me now! He asks for his pushchair now and climbs in!

peardrop2 · 03/08/2015 08:39

Oooo Mini, you don't think implantation? I hate spotting...really gets your hopes up!

Morning! 7dpo today for me and I have my blood test this morning (boo). On the bright side DS is going off for a few hours with DH so I'll have a break and can cook and paint my nails in peace! I was planning to garden but it looks like it might rain (secretly happy about that Wink). The full bladder symptoms have passed now.phew!

How are you ladies carrying DC in a sling for so long?!?! I couldn't carry DS passed 6 months!

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 03/08/2015 08:16

Ispy I think a sling and pushchair would be my option but DH said he'd want a double.
I hope you get your fixed smiley today, Lots of ewcm is a good sign!

Well I managed to resist testing but after checking CP there was a hint of pink on the tissue so I think I'm out

ispyfispi · 02/08/2015 22:46

Sorry to hear that Dougal, so close yet so far ???? great that you've seen some improvements though.

Mini, my lo is also refusing to be carried anymore ???? I miss my sling! Can't wait to use it again next time round. I would definitely avoid a double buggy and just go with stroller and sling.

Pear I feel your pain re. the cystitis and hope it gets better not worse. I've managed to avoid another bout this month despite the dtd marathon and ????!

Day 7 of flashing smileys here, only one stick left. Who are these women that only get 2 flashing ones before a fixed?! Lots of ewcm though so I'm hopeful still. I'm just hoping for an improvement on last month.

A girl I know from bf support group has just announced the birth of her second, her dd isn't even 2 yet!

MinisMama13 · 02/08/2015 21:06

I knew what you meant! The full bladder thing is definitely a symptom!

I keep looking at my chart as if it's magically going to say pregnant. I stopped temping after ov which I'm now thinking was silly! So it's literally just me listing any teeny symptom. I knew I'd go crazy this time!

peardrop2 · 02/08/2015 20:44

Just to clarify not the burning pee signs. More like that full bladder feeling when you don't need to pee if that makes sense Blush

MinisMama13 · 02/08/2015 20:43

Hahaha step away from Google!

You never know though Wink

peardrop2 · 02/08/2015 20:32

Also, this morning I woke up with feelings of cystitis coming on. I've been drinking gallons of water today to try and fight it. I'm now googling and reading about ladies with the same problem and resulting in bfps. Oh why oh why did I start googling Grin

Evening! I think the double buggy debate probably has a lot to do with the child. Friends with a 3 year gap mostly go for a buggy board.

How lovely was the weather today!! It's been so chilly recently, especially in the evenings, so it's been lovely to have a bit of sun!

I've had some twinges that are getting my hopes up which is really annoying! Tomorrow is my bloody test. I am dreading it Hmm

Aww mini Sad It's such a long wait isn't it!

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 02/08/2015 18:56

Glad you're feeling better Dougal.
Funnily enough hubs and I were debating yesterday at what point you wouldn't bother with a double buggy! I use our pushchair nearly every day as mini refuses to go in the sling anymore and we have quite a walk into the wee town where we love, he can only walk about half way.
Glad you've got some positives from this cycle and definitely keep that appointment! I hope the she can do something to help Smile

I have been ss all day and failed as I decided to do an opk at 6. Not a clue what I was thinking I just had an urge to poas! Blush

DougalTheCheshireCat · 02/08/2015 17:40

Thanks all. I cried all over DH on Friday evening and now feel much better. We had a lovely family day out yesterday too.

DD and I went to the park this morning and I saw loads of double buggies. Good things about a slightly larger gap no 37: no need for a double buggy!

My period is a bit weird though, on Friday I could feel my cervix opening, which is v rare, it's happened one other time, last November, so both since I've had a child. Also without wanting to be TMI, a some different consistencies. I think I probably did conceive this cycle and it just didn't stick for whatever reason.

So, looking at the positives, a longer cycle, earlier, stronger ovulation, possible conception. Just need a good healthy embryo, good implantation and a nice strong luetual phase to support the early days now.

I will keep the gynaecologist appointment, I think. May as well hear what she has to say.

Plus, I think I might have found somewhere affordable for us to stay during our renovation. The idea of a private rental, the cost etc was freaking me out. We would have had to minimise the time and either lived I a building site for weeks, or moved about a lot.

Finger crossed those on 2ww have success

MinisMama13 · 02/08/2015 08:05

Pear me toooooo!

I'm annoying myself today. Tmi but my nipples are really sore when mini is feeding and I can't help wondering. I also know I had this last cycle though. I swear I'm starting to drive myself a little bit crazy Blush

peardrop2 · 02/08/2015 07:52

I having such strange dreams this week! Trying desperately hard not to think of them as a "symptom" Sad

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 01/08/2015 20:26

Yeh I know it's not reliable before. If I get to 10dpo with no spotting I'll have my hopes up! I think I'm out anyway as I'm getting the same 7dpo pms symptoms as last cycle, boo!

peardrop2 · 01/08/2015 19:42

Mini - I think 10dpo is probably the earliest you can test without risking a bfn Hmm will you do the class? I'm still hoping to hold out until 12dpo. 13 would be great!

OP posts:
MinisMama13 · 01/08/2015 12:55

(*I probably won't need to test as I bey spotting will start for af as I've probably just jinxed myself! HmmBlush)

MinisMama13 · 01/08/2015 12:54

Afternoon lovelies!

Just started a week off from work, so relieved! Lazy Saturday to start which is so nice!

Pear I'm definitely over thinking every single thing atm. I have had some cramps today so I'm now wondering if it means anything. Probably not! Still makes you wonder though!
We haven't made any decisions about how many, we actually had a chat about it the other evening again and hubs thinks 3. I just think if it is a struggle to ttc again would we go through that again? It's hard to know. Plus I want to be able to do some holidays etc while they're growing up. That said I could happily have 3!

Dougal sorry af arrived sweets. I always find the first few days utterly rubbish so be kind to yourself.
It sounds like you have loads going on which will help distract you. We often thought about having a break when we were ttc ds as after a year it just felt awful sometimes but now I'm glad we did and we persevered with the tests etc. It's tricky where bf is involved but in sure you'd be able to get bf friendly treatment should you need it. I've often wondered if I should just be concentrating on ds as maybe we won't be lucky again but I think you know if you want more and it's a space you'd like to fill iyswim.

7dpo today, feeling like I just want to know now! Ff says testing day is August 5th but I have a high intensity exercise class on Monday so I'm wondering whether I should test Monday? Although that'd be 9dpo so probably too early! Confused

peardrop2 · 01/08/2015 07:55

Morning! Feeling much better today. Mainly because yesterday I stopped thinking that every activity I do has to be one that I can enjoy without a baby in tow! I discovered that over thinking that for months on end can really put pressure on yourself and it certainly got me down in the end! It's great advice at the start of your TTC journey but after a while...Anyway, yesterday I just enjoyed being outside and didn't do too much stuff just because my son wanted to. I managed to get him to garden with me for a bit which was nice Smile DPO 5 now!

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend?
