Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

Elle, Sorry for the BFN :( I'll keep my fingers crossed for you anyway.

My temps are still up so possibly did Ov (currently 12dpo) AF used to always be at 14dpo so I'll be expecting to show on Friday. I have lots of ICs so tested a few times this week just for fun and bfn.

Pear, enjoy your wine, a glass (or 2 ;)) won't hurt! have a great evening.

peardrop2 · 09/09/2015 16:23

Toelle - I guess you have no idea when AF may arrive then? AF arrived for me on dpo 13 last cycle but before that it was usually 11/12 dpo. You're nearly at the end of the waiting game. Hang in there Smile

I'm OK thanks. 6dpo. I will know this time next week whether I've got lucky. I have zero symptoms. Means nothing. I've got my next blood test in the morning which I am dreading. Especially as I have to take my 2 year old along with me this time Shock I'm meeting my friend in London for drinks in the evening. I think I will allow myself a small glass of wine. I want to celebrate with her properly and my gut feeling this month is that I'm not pregnant. If I had any sign that I might be I think I would stay away from alcohol but 1 small glass is probably OK. I feel like I can't put my life on hold but I can be sensible and limit my fun. Sounds boring doesn't it Grin

So according to the clear blue digi I ov'd on the 29th which would make me 11 DPO. The only thing thing I'm slightly wary about is that I did have EWCM on the 1st as well which makes me wonder if the clear blue was wrong. When I was tracking before TTC DS I usually ov'd about CD15, not CD12 as clearblue indicated, but possible my cycle has changed since having him? Who knows. In any case if there's no sign of AF by Sunday I may test again then. Wouldn't be hopeful though.

How are you holding up?

peardrop2 · 09/09/2015 10:09

Elle - sorry to hear that Sad What dpo are you now?

ToElleWithIt · 09/09/2015 08:36

Must google the book Clara. I usually find that a glass of wine works as an excellent distraction at every stage of my cycle in a sort of a "God I'll miss this" kind of a way Grin

BFN here this morning and I broke out the big guns and used a First Response so I'd say I'm out this month.

I'd give EOD a whirl ThatsNot, try and make it seem spontaneous.... Wink

How are the temps Leamice?

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 08/09/2015 19:43

DH will know I'm up to something Grin I promised him no tracking and 'trying' this time, I've done a great job haven't I!

peardrop2 · 08/09/2015 18:26

I had a few (probably 3 in total) stretchy days before my second line got darker. Maybe just dtd EOD from now on and see what happens. You may just get lucky Wink

OP posts:
ThatsNotEvenAWord · 08/09/2015 16:22

It seemed quite stretchy the joys of Internet conversations eh!

I'll take another test to see if it picks up on anything. I wasn't even planning on trying this month as I thought it would be too early for anything to be happening, you can't help but symptom spot can you?

peardrop2 · 08/09/2015 13:23

5dpo and felt a few twinges around my pelvic area but I was at a toddler class doing energetic movements so... It means nothing Grin

peardrop2 · 08/09/2015 13:21

Clara - no I haven't read that book. Not heard of it. Sounds interesting.

That's - have you tested this morning or are you only testing at night? TMI but is it stretchy or slippery. If it's stretchy then my guess is you're leading up to it and will probably see a darker line in the next few days. IMO. If it's slippery then I would say the stick hasn't picked up the surge and question how diluted your wee was last night when you tested?! I'm glad we're not having this conversation face to face BlushGrin

Ok so not even a squinter of a line on my ov test last night but I swear I've got ewcm today. Is that my body practising do you reckon?

Clara101 · 07/09/2015 21:50

Hi ladies, has anyone come across the book The Baby Making bible by Emma Cannon? It's slightly whacky but has positive stuff you can do at each stage of cycle. Q good for distracting from poas!

I'm half happy AF is here and managing to keep to two feeds a day. But with 43 birthday later in the autumn also bit scared as I really want a third and conscious don't have long. But don't want to cut feeds more drastically either.. It's a tough balance! Cd lose hours wishing life had worked out to embark on all this earlier but that's a complete waste of time!!

Good luck everybody!

Leamice · 07/09/2015 16:46

Id also like to borrow the time machine, i'll fast forward to october 20th please as thats when my gyno appointment is.... ages away!

My AF is possibly due on Friday, wondering if she'll show. I tested today with a superdrug test... pointless really as i may not have even ovulated (though temps still up and ff says 10dpo) BFN obviously haha!

Well done Elle for not poas yet!!

peardrop2 · 07/09/2015 09:29

Oh and I think no symptoms is a positive sign Grin

peardrop2 · 07/09/2015 09:28

Ha ha Elle ???? that made me smile. It's ridiculous isn't it. I haven't got the urge yet but I just want to know either way. Wish I could just forget about it. Silly really as once I know either way I'll have a whole new set of things to worry/obsess about.

OP posts:
ToElleWithIt · 07/09/2015 08:24

If you find out can I hop in your time machine too peardrop?

I reckon I'm now 9 DPO. The urge to pee on something is overwhelming! I'm going to try to wait 'til Wednesday at least. Don't feel remotely pregnant though so think it'll be a BFN this month.

peardrop2 · 07/09/2015 07:59

Does anyone know how to speed up time and then rewind the clock? 4 dpo Sad I didn't even make it to 4 dpo before becoming impatient.

Leamice · 05/09/2015 21:28

ICs are Internet Cheapies as in the cheap dip sticks off Amazon, eBay Etc - you can get lots for very little money so great if you love poas but they're not the best quality so will have you staring at squinter lines that are not real lol.
And yay for your DS drinking some cows milk- progress :)

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 05/09/2015 21:09

Ah that's good, maybe he'll start drinking a bit more now. You could always add nesquik Grin

Clara101 · 05/09/2015 21:03

Thanks That's.. Tried warm cows milk today and he drank a bit ;-). What are ics pls ladies?

I did try temping when was ttc last time but too lazy/didn't work for me. So in past I went by cm as best guide to when I was ovulating but haven't had much at all while bf. Do you know if that means cycles are anovulatory?

Read earlier posts in this thread and love Ava's live poas moment! Good luck for 2ww Pear!

Leamice · 05/09/2015 20:13

That's promising that your opk is getting darker thatsnot, maybe a surge is coming.

ThatsNotEvenAWord · 05/09/2015 20:01

Thanks for the advice, I tested last night and it was a tad darker. So I will have another go and a few days as the curiosity will get the best of me I'm sure!

Happy 2ww!

Leamice · 05/09/2015 18:33

Happy 2ww Pear, hope it goes quick for you and brings you a nice bfp at the end. Then you'll be needing the maternity gear lol. Could be a subconscious sign that your eggo is preggo? Haha!

peardrop2 · 05/09/2015 17:52

Found myself browsing the maternity New Look website. Not sure why Confused

peardrop2 · 05/09/2015 09:46

That's - I get a second line squint for the first 2 weeks of my cycle with ics. It gets darker the closer I get to ovulating and then on ovulation day the two lines are the exact same shade. I agree with April and think as you have no idea when you will ovulate that you should try testing EOD or you'll end up feeling like you're poas all the time. Checking for cm is more key IMO.

I'm currently on DPO2. I was going to dtd last night as I still had ewcm yesterday but DH said he was too tired and was up for work early so it just wasn't feasible. I hope that dtd on both peak days was enough. You'd think so. Now for the 2ww. I don't think it will be too bad waiting this time...I say that now. I think the second week will be v slow! Anyway, I'll come back in a few days to see how everyone is getting on Smile
