Welcome to the thread for TTCers who track too much, spot to much and use most of our expendable income in Internet Cheapies.

Cycle 5 or 55 we don't care this is a place for your hopeful twaddle and necessary pre-conception ranting.

I meant i think i can see a line on Mrs PCR pic :) not mine, Im going to get mine in 10 mins but i bet it will be a BFN cos if the cramps :( xxx

Rickalicious · 16/07/2015 11:55

Def need a pic everything.... although my first test was so faint I didn't bother so I'm a complete hypocrite!

MrsPCR · 16/07/2015 11:36

Yeah we need a pic everything!!!

MrsPCR · 16/07/2015 11:35

Fingers crossed everything! I only caught sight of the line yesterday when I was about to chuck it in the bin. Mine was clearer this morning.

Lizzy, I woke up at half 3 yesterday needing the toilet, having already decided I would test on fmu that day. I almost didn't bother bc i had just had such a vivid dream that I'd done 4 negative tests and I didn't even have any symptoms I could kid myself into believing were pregnancy, other than a random wave of nausea as I fell asleep Monday night??

Ignore the dream. It's your head playing tricks!

Yesterday I was nauseous until lunchtime, but put that down to lack of sleep and excitement. Today I feel the same. Maybe it's my cold? I was the worst for symptom spotting but now I feel silly if I believe this is early pregnancy signs even though it probably is!!

The female brain is a crazy place!!

Sorry to hear you've started puking Chelle. Hope it passes soon.

Enjoy telling the parents Rick! I wish I could see mine before holiday because cannot wait to tell them.

LOD you are so right about the peeing won't make a difference, but it was the same when temping. It was as if lying about my temp slightly might make me pregnant. Haha. I had to constantly remind myself it was the BD that would decide it, not my temperature!

Fingers crossed ladies, we can follow each other and then race to see whose first seeing as we all have EDDs within days of each other!

LastOneDancing · 16/07/2015 11:29

Erm, everything. You can't put that and not post a picture?!

Or is it just that I can't see it on my crappy phone Grin

everythingcrossed2015 · 16/07/2015 11:20

I have tested last week lol but knew was too early :( haha im just as weak as everyone else haha :) xx

everythingcrossed2015 · 16/07/2015 11:19

I think i can see a line :) fingers crossed x

Rickalicious · 16/07/2015 11:08

Yeah my AF due date has been and gone, based on my average luteal phase of 10 days it would have been Monday but my last cycle was 11 days so if the same as that this cycle it would have been due Tuesday.

My sister is really impatient and wanted me to keep testing everyday after my first faint test whereas I am happy to wait a couple of days to let the HCG levels double. First very very faint Frer was Monday at 11dpo, 2nd FRER positive but not as dark as control line at 13dpo..... so maybe i'll do the clearblue tomorrow at 15dpo but then there is no harm in waiting until Sat morning i'll still be pregnant then and less chance of a false negative.

I'm planning to tell my parents on sat and I'd like to see the words before I tell them.

Fingers crossed everything, you are being very restrained not testing already. Most of us are weak, ha!

Lizzy I think you could be 14dpo if 2-3 weeks has come up on the test as 14dpo is entering the 2nd week, 12dpo isn't. Am I trying to make sense of something that makes no sense at all?! I don't even get how the clearblue can tell the weeks as everyone's HCG levels start and increase at different levels :-s

everythingcrossed2015 · 16/07/2015 10:52

Congrats everyone on your BFP's :) Im due on tomorrow, im getting cramps but feel different and positive for some reason im going to poundland on my lunch for a test :) eeekkk dont want to get hopes up but im praying so much :( xx

LastOneDancing · 16/07/2015 10:19

Rick is AF actually late now? If not save your CB digi until that day.

Honestly they are notorious for giving false negatives and that would make you feel awful. So my advice would be to wait. Also they're bloody expensive to keep buying another.

If you're pregnant you're pregnant and no amount of weeing on stuff is going to change things x

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 10:04

Lod, you are totally right with that one! Lol.

Rik, I was an idiot and did another clearblue just now and its actually gone up from 1-2 weeks this morning to 2-3 weeks now, so I wouldn't fear the clearblue. I really like that it says pregnant and how many weeks! I'm either 12 or 14dpo, I think I messed up my temps so I'm not 100% sure. If I used three temps from 7 am every day, I oved on the 2nd so am 14dpo, or if I use the ones from when I woke up first, I oved on the 4th and am 12dpo. We seem to be in sync! But I did the clearblue and frer and superdrug all at the same time, and all were positive. The superdrug one was the faintest but stronger last night. I would go for it, it might give you peace of mind. I'm sure it's fine. Like MrsPCR, I'm way better at giving advice than taking it! But I'm going to try to stop worrying about it now and put it out of my mind. I think if you got a positive on frer, that can only be a great sign. Do the clearblue and if it's too soon, wait a day. I had solid negatives the day before my 4 positives on every brand! I actually did an opk which alerted me that I should maybe test! Fingers crossed for you that it shows up quickly and puts your mind to rest!

LastOneDancing · 16/07/2015 09:56

And I did my first ever CB today and I was a bit nervous too.

It makes a right meal of things blinking away for ages before giving the result Confused.

AF was due today or yesterday.

Please take a moment to study this highly scientific and unfortunately accurate timeline of pregnancy.
Note the first three months of 'fear'- this is perfectly normal but will pass off a bit chelle you are already tasting the third stage by puking in a bush.

Lizzy i'm worrying too, although there is no reason for either of us to think we aren't actually pregnant, the signs are all there, it's crazy.

I have a clearblue digi with the indicator and am scared to use it as have only used FRERs on the 2 times i've POAS and they are supposed to be the most sensitive ones, am worried it wont show up on the clearblue. It's reassuring that you have a positive on the clearblue.

How many dpo are you? i'm 14 today and i'm guess that the claims on the test are all based on people having perfect 28 day cycles and ovulating on CD14, and it says you can test up to 4 days early...... but i'm worrying my HCG levels wont be as high as the average so won't show. Have no reason to think that, i'm just a crazy lady!

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 08:31

OK thanks ladies. I'm really bad for worrying too much, you're right, I need to just chill out (never been good at that!). I will try to hold off any more testing for a bit (doc said to date it with the clearblue one in two weeks). I just shouldn't read things online - too many horror stores of lines getting fainter until they disappear entirely!

Thank you for sorting me out!

chelle792 · 16/07/2015 08:17

lizzy, sweetheart, you need to calm down. Baby is there now. Baby has an incredible instinct for life and it knows what to do. Worrying is normal (lots of work with my therapist about this). Everyone worries. It's your job now to look after yourself and let baby do the rest.

By the way - I just had a massive crazy lady breakdown in the park and ended up sat against a tree in floods of sobbing tears and then puked into a bush. Dog wasn't bothered, OH looked scared witless Wink not my finest hour

MrsPCR · 16/07/2015 07:55

PUT THE PISSY STICKS DOWN. You have your BFP! At least you've used a CB! I'm too scared to use anything less sensitive than 10ml! I have some 25ml for tomorrow for when AF is late. (As you can see I can give the advice but can't take it!). Yesterday's FMU was a normal yellow colour but this one was a lot darker. (Too dark, I need to drink more) and my BFP was barely darker. I thought darker wee would mean less dilute.

I'm suggest you give it 48hrs before you test but at least have the intention not to to try and relax a bit. (I will be there tomorrow morning bricking it with my 25ml!).

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 07:18

It's actually a tiny bit lighter than yesterday's ic, although that was in the afternoon and this is the first positive one I've done in the morning that is positive - when I got the bfp I'd got a negative the previous morning and waited until afternoon, so I think my fmu might be very dilute. Sorry, so worried which is probably not reasonable!

soontobemrslizzy · 16/07/2015 07:05

I'm freaking myself out a bit - had a dream that I wasn't pregnant anymore, took another ic and clearblue just not. The clearblue says pregnant 1-2, but the ic is still really faint. My period was supposed to come today so maybe my ics aren't as sensitive as they say? Or should I be worried?

FattyFishwife · 15/07/2015 20:51

Thanks Mrs P, your words are much appreciated Flowers xxx

LastOneDancing · 15/07/2015 19:13

Ah it's great when you have a good friend who's pregnant at the same time. You can cry together text each other at 3 am and meet at each others houses in your pajamas

My friend has a DS a week older than LLOD and she's about 25 weeks now with her second I think? So shes my test pilot for how it all works with 2!

MrsPCR · 15/07/2015 14:56

My best friends is 23 weeks so I'm excited about our babies being 5 months apart. I will break and tell her when we are back from holiday so 7/8 weeks, which is when she broke and told me! So it's only fair to return the favour! Good luck with the wedding next week!

Rickalicious · 15/07/2015 14:45

Planning to tell our parents at the weekend.

My sister knows already as she knows all about us TTC this month and we work together so see each other every day, she is 20 weeks so its really exciting our babies will only be 4 months apart!

I'm going to have to tell my 3 best friends next Fri as they are spending the night with me at the venue before the wedding.... I never turn down a drink so it'll be blooming obvious!

It is early for them all to know but if anything happens I would tell them anyway as would want their support.
