So, after 9 years together me and dh have decided to start trying. Last AF ended 29th June, I should be ovulating any day now. Very new to all this ttc malarkey so no idea what we're doing really!

I'm already making myself worry about a BFN in a couple of weeks. Didn't think I was that broody but it's all I can think about! Anybody else feeling/felt the same??

Xx

Hey ladies. Sorry I've been quiet. Tbh, DH hasn't been bothered about DTD over last few days so lost enthusiasm to keep chatting on MN.
But hopefully we're now back on board.

What's happening with you?

E11Chick · 20/07/2015 19:50

Yep I'm also symptom spotting too....sure I'm imagining some of them lol! My body also drives me insane you're not alone! X

Hey all! I'm symptom spotting like mad too! I have really sore boobs, stabbing pains in stomach and was sick on Saturday night - still keep getting waves of sickness! Can't be pregnant though only had coil removed two and half weeks ago! Still not had a af though. My body is driving me mad! X

alwaysinapickle · 20/07/2015 17:55

Thanks for the welcome.
Waiting is really hard, especially as I'm generally quite impatient anyway.
I'm symptom spotting like crazy too. I've been having hot flushes all day today and have convinced myself this means something and it's nothing to do with the vest, top and cardigan I am wearing on this warm muggy day!
FX for bfp's all round. I'll try and wait until AF is actually late.

Sunshinegirl2015 · 20/07/2015 17:52

Fairly new here. Came off the pill in January and waited to have a natural cycle before trying. This is now our sixth month ttc although 5th cycle as one month I had thrush and so we couldn't try when I ovulated as sod's law it was the same week.

We've also been together just over nine years and married for one. Since deciding to try it's all we can think about.

Have learnt so much through this forum though but have to admit when we started ttc we thought it'd happen straight away.

Fx for you E11Chick

E11Chick · 20/07/2015 17:26

Welcome alwaysinapickle! I'm exactly the same didn't realise how much I wanted it until we started trying. Fingers crossed for some bfps :-) waiting seems to be the hardest part so far.....

Hello ladies.
This is all new to me and I'm totally obsessing and it's only cycle 1!!! I thought I'd be relaxed about the whole thing but turns out I'm not. Perhaps I just want this more than I thought.
AF due next Monday, it's going to be a long wait.

E11Chick · 20/07/2015 14:09

How is everybody doing? Anybody close to testing yet? As my cycles are a bit irregular of late I'm going to avoid testing until the weekend if I can wait that long (that will be day 36 which is my current average as I had a 47 day cycle last time which was a bit odd fore me but it has happened before) unless AF rears its ugly head! X

P.s. thanks for the good luck pixie :-)

Right so I think I should ignore the stupid app on my phone. Woke up this morning and without giving you tmi I'm almost certain I'm ovulating. So I doubt I'm due on next week and looks like another stupidly long cycle :-( why does nobody tell you the ttc bit is so hard??? X

Pixie1988 · 17/07/2015 10:09

Good luck E11- willing the next week to fly by for you!!
I just want af so I know everything's back to normal and can start TTC properly if you know what I mean.

E11Chick · 17/07/2015 06:43

I already know the next 7 days are going to drag and I'm going to be tempted to test every single day!

custarddots · 16/07/2015 23:47

Pixie - I envy you for your years of no AF!!!

E11 - I may join you in the testing as well :)

E11Chick · 16/07/2015 18:55

All good here too :-) still symptom spotting like a crazy person!

Met with a friend and her newborn today which was nice but just made me super broody.

Going to poas next weekend if af hasn't arrived (fingers crossed it won't!) X

Pixie1988 · 16/07/2015 18:49

All good here. Still no sign of af. All those years of enjoying not having af - I want one now! I'm just too
Impatient.

custarddots · 16/07/2015 17:12

How's everyone doing today?

It seems that, absurdly late, I'm only just getting PMS pains so it's gonna be a long cycle this month Hmm.

I had to chuck the candy away on the end to avoid the guilt of waving eating it all!

E11Chick · 15/07/2015 19:58

My last cycle was stupidly long (I put it down to stress with the wedding coming up) so I don't really know when next AF is due but I think around 21st-25th. If I'm like this month one goodness knows what crazy person I'll be in a few months! I read the average is about 8 months so month one would be amazing!

Here's to lots of bfps soon ladies!! X

Aww hey Derby. So exciting that you are ready. Huge respect for you waiting for so long. Fingers crossed for you!!

Derbygirl37 · 15/07/2015 19:43

Hiya Smile I'm in my first month of TTC too. I had the implant taken out on 1st June and my first AF came on 1st July, so I think I'm ovulating around about now. Trying not to obsess over it, but it's so hard not to! I've been with my hubby for a long time and we're both now finally ready for the patter of tiny feet! I went on the pill when I was 15, was on that for years, then went onto the depo injection for a few years and then had the implant for almost 3 years so I have a feeling things won't happen too quickly! I'll be 38 in 2 weeks time so age isn't on my side either! xx

custarddots · 15/07/2015 19:39

Oh my gosh, my post wedding don't give a crap about what I am eating attitude means that I have almost demolished a bag of Reeses pieces and had them less than a week. Need to be prrggers to cover any looming candy bulge!

custarddots · 15/07/2015 19:36

Welcome Pixie!!

Not having ha a coil myself but having read a bit, I believe you can get post removal bleeding but wouldn't have thought it would feel like AF pains.

It would be amazing if someone posted here and got a BFP first time!!

Walking through sainsburys tonight I did that thing where you keep crossing the same people on each aisle and one family (mum, dad and two young kids) really rubbed it in my face with a perfect bump on the mother. Selfish!!!

E11. Don't start on the symptoms and testing. I want symptoms! I am irregular so probably will be waiting until about 28th Hmm

Pixie1988 · 15/07/2015 13:20

Hey all, I'm new to mumsnet and TTC #1. I had my cool removed 2 weeks ago and still not had af. Last 2 days I feel extremely tired, dizzy at times and have sore boobs! It's annoying cuz I know I can't be pregnant. Maybe just side effects of having coil removed?? Good luck to you all.

E11Chick · 15/07/2015 12:39

Ok rant alert....I'm due for AF in about a week but am majorly symptom spotting! I've been having weird twinges and cramps woke up with a pain in my lower back and have come over all dizzy this morning. Probably just AF symptoms but I'm driving myself insane....and I know its unlikely that we'll get a bfp first month ttc but I'm going to be so upset if AF arrives or I get a bfn. Anybody else getting close to being able to test? X
