Decided I'm going to doctors tomorrow as I really don't feel well. This is beyond pms symptoms to me, I have no motivation whatsoever, I'm on edge constantly to the point of randomly bursting into tears, I literally can't stand the sight of dh (poor bugger) want to hit him for no reason. I lay in bed till 6-7 am not getting any sleep, I don't want to eat or do anything. My boobs really hurt, can be very painful at times.

Been researching abnormal depression after ovulation and pmdd popped up...well the symptoms fit me to a T!
I know there's something wrong, I just don't feel well mentally, pmdd is a hormonal disease of the brain that starts at ovulation, intensifying up until period, and subsiding a few days into period.
Im quite literally two different people in the same month...

coco I got my bpf from my wtf cycle. Had a mc in July and got my positive 4 weeks and 4 days after it. No AF in between which is now worrying me.

CarrotVan · 23/08/2015 16:07

coco this was in my wtf cycle after a early MC in July. That pregnancy was from cycle 2 after a MC in May which was also in cycle 2 of ttc

fruitlovingmonkey · 23/08/2015 14:23

coco it was only my second cycle of trying again but that was after 3 months where I wasn't allowed to try because of MC related health probs, so it felt like a lot longer.

fruitlovingmonkey · 23/08/2015 14:21

Thanks Ladies.
Sakura I had a couple of glasses of wine at the wedding last week (around implantation time) because I thought there was no hope of a pg. I was a bit worried after getting the bfp but my Ovia app tells me that the placenta is just forming now and will be working by the end of the week. Before this the zygote is fed from the yolk sac so didn't share my blood stream. I have heard that heavy drinking can hinder implantation but just a couple is fine as long as you are sure of your dates and you stay well hydrated. I do think relaxing is the most important so a holiday around that time is ideal!
Good luck paws are you still getting symptoms?

Sakura03 · 23/08/2015 13:58

paws fx for you!!!

Sakura03 · 23/08/2015 13:57

Wow fab news fruit (always called you monkey in the past but just realised everyone else calls you fruit) congrats Flowers. So bloody brilliant with all the BFP's just what we need to keep the spirit up! What are you guys getting up to in the lovely sunshine? I've been out for walks.

I think I will just have ov when we go off on holiday, or there about (will probably start using opks on cd10), I'm not a big drinker but I'd like to have a couple of drinks in the evenings, surely that's fine right?

coco808 · 23/08/2015 11:04

mummy cherry reebok fruit HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I've been following the tread and desperately trying to write but something has gone wrong with my login.

I've been so depressed uptill the point I started seeing all these BFPs. It has finally given me some hope for myself and I also feel so happy to see you happy.

paws i have my fingers crossed for you that these are early preg signs.

For the ones who got BFPs, how long many cycles did it take after the MC?

Emu123 · 23/08/2015 09:03

Congrats reebok and Fruit

I'm on day 17. I'm not temping but got a cb digi solid smiley on cd 13. We dtd on 13, 14 and 15 [shocked] but I'm still getting a lot of ewcm so can't work out if I've od or not!!!! Can't decide whether not temping is less stressful or not.....Confused

Glad your pain is gone reebok!

Progesterone really kicking my arse this tww, nipples seriously sore and erect...part of me wants to believe it's because I'm pg...but the rational side of me tells me its progesterone. Just never had sore nips like this before, bbs ache more than usual too!

fruitlovingmonkey · 21/08/2015 23:41

Thanks Reebok glad to hear the pain has gone. Pg after MC is scary, I'm already worrying about my lack of symptoms.
Thanks paws, I guess it's Sod's law. Last month we did everything right and I got a bfn, this month was a disaster timing wise and bfp.

Reebok · 21/08/2015 21:11

Sorry for your loss Juniper.

Sakura, hopefully you will get your bfp soon!

Fruitmonkey that is brilliant news! Congrats! Told you it would happen.

No pain today so hopefully things will be ok for me.

Hope everyone else is feeling ok.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 21/08/2015 20:00

Welcome juniper sorry for your loss x

fruit! Congratulations!!! I thought you said you didn't stand a chance this cycle as dh was so ill???

Just goes to show ay, ... Can happen when you least expect it Wink

fruitlovingmonkey · 21/08/2015 12:19

Welcome Juniper so sorry for your losses.
Sorry you are having such a hard time sakura but you are healthy and your cycles are regular so I'm sure you will get your baby soon. This is terrible timing on my part but I wanted to share.
I woke up this morning after dreaming of getting my period and going to choose wine, told DH and he told me to take a test. I brushed it off, positive that AF was on the way but after he went to work I couldn't resist and I got a bfp! I'm happy but also absolutely terrified. I haven't had any real symptoms, other than cramps 6 and 7 dpo there's been nothing. Last month I had symptoms and yet bfn. Scared as my last pg ended in mmc, so I would like all of the symptoms this time.

Sakura03 · 21/08/2015 07:55

Welcome MsJuniper sorry for your losses, this is such a friendly and supportive thread. I've just turned 37, dh is 43 and we're ttc#1. Cd2 for me, so depressing... I really struggled emotionally yesterday, I try to be positive and think that it will happen but it's so hard not to be pessimistic and sad. Work kept me very busy all day though so that helped and I feel better today still gutted of course as I'm so ready for a baby. We're off on a beach holiday on 4th September can't wait!!!

MsJuniper · 20/08/2015 23:09

Hello, can I join please? Mc Nov 14 and April 15, just tentatively starting to try again. So so scared of what the future will bring. Both mc at 9 wks.

I'm 39 and have a DS who'll be 3 in October. He took over a year to conceive but my other pregnancies took only 3 and then 1 cycle.

In some ways the last few months of not ttc have been a relief - no constant knicker checking and anxiety. But time is ticking on and we desperately want another child so we have got to be brave and face whatever's coming.

Thanks to all of you for all you've been through.

fruitlovingmonkey · 20/08/2015 19:43

I hope you're wrong about the pains Reebok, when is your first scan? I'm sure you will look back on this in a few weeks time and wonder why you were so worried.
Thanks for the kind words. I try to be philosophical about the baby coming when it is meant to be but I'm very impatient and 3 months of waiting until I could try again didn't do me any favours! I'm getting a sponsor child in the meantime, something I've been meaning to do for ages.

Reebok · 20/08/2015 19:25

Nice to hear from you Sakura. Fingers crossed for next month!
Monkey, you have a right to have those 'why not me' moments...a mc is probably one of the hardest things a woman can go through. Not only do you lose a baby but you lose a part of yourself. At least that's how I have felt both times I lost my babies. But I know it wasn't meant to be...I mean if I hadn't mc the first time, I wouldn't have my precious miracle child. Hard to think of it like this...I know. It will be you soon. Lots of hugs for you Hun.

Mummy good luck for the scan!

I'm getting shooting pains in my downstairs area! It throws me and I can't stand for about ten seconds. I cannot remember if I had this with Lo so freaked out a bit and worried things are going to stop before it's even started. Still wearing a pad. I feel like I'm going to bleed any minute.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 20/08/2015 19:07

mummy is correct....
Also, a chemical pregnancy is still classed as a mc, just another type of mc, like mmc, smc, cmc (chemical mc)

fruitlovingmonkey · 20/08/2015 15:57

Hi Sakura good to hear from you. Sorry for AF. I am waiting for mine now. DH was ill for my fertile period so no hope of a bfp this cycle. He's been told to man up for the next go. It's great to hear positive stories and I'm truly happy for you all but I do just want to stamp my foot and shout "when is it my turn?" Tbh I have a pretty great life outside of ttc so I'm trying to not be such a brat focus on that. Also trying to think more about the future, nothing can change how shit the first half of 2015 was for me so I need to make some plans and goals for the second half.

Mummyofonesofar · 20/08/2015 15:36

A chemical is when you get a (usually early) pg test but then your AF arrives on time and the pregnancy hasn't stayed implanted or the egg hasn't started the divide properly so isn't a sustainable pregnancy, the bleeding is just like that of a period.

And a miscarriage is after you have passed the point of your AF and you bleed more heavily and pass clots and sadly sometimes the fetal sac.

primarynoodle · 20/08/2015 15:03

silly question but what is the difference between a chemical pregnancy and a miscarriage? Blush

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 20/08/2015 12:50

Good to hear from you sakura, hope you're doing ok Smile

mummy don't be silly, it's nice to hear how you're doing...let us know how the scan goes!

reebok any stronger lines today? I think you've gone past the point of chemical now, I was 4&3 last mc, and that couldn't have been a cp as I passed a tiny sac...cramping is normal hun, and remember your body hasn't had a AF after your last mc so everything is still gonna be a bit tender in there, you're bound to be getting cramps and pulls. If poas makes you feel better, then get yourself some ic's and poas to your hearts content Wink
tailor I think we are all guilty of 'over-analyzing' every little possible symptom, I know I am!

carrot I think I'm gonna take it as a positive too, had temp drop this morning so fc...
