Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

Cherry SadFlowers I'm so very sorry. I hope you will be able to rest and treat yourself well today. I know how hard it is but you will recover. Lots of love to you.

Waves at paws. I'm doing ok, thanks, lovely. I'm 40 today - eek!

Emu123 · 27/08/2015 07:28

So sorry cherry that's awful news. I hope your OH is looking after you and you've got lots of support. Life is v unfair sometimes. Take a break and look after yourself xxx

So I saw the doc yesterday and was referred to the epu for a scan. Had my scan this morning which showed a sac and yolk sac but not fetal pole/heartbeat, it measured 5+4 which was a week behind what I thought. They said it may be too early to see a hb yet and booked me in again in 2 weeks to see if there was any growth.
However... This afternoon I got even more crampy, had a backache, then this evening had a sudden gush of red blood, filling a pad in 5 minutes! (Sorry if tmi) It slowed down to a light flow for a few hours, now just spotting red. So it looks like it is all over for me again.
Wishing you lovely ladies all the best in ttc your rainbow babies. I think I'm going to take a break in ttc for a while, maybe til the new year as I after 2 mc in 3 months, I don't think I can handle another one so soon.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 26/08/2015 22:28

Thank you all so much for your posts,
I've invested in the 'womens balance' essential oil...
Sorry to hear others are struggling...
You're not going through it alone though girls, hugs to all x

coco808 · 26/08/2015 09:57

wow carrot heart beat before 6+3 is so good!

fruit hang on in there. May be keep yourself as busy as possible to make the time go quicker?? I've been cleaning all cupboards, furniture, everything possible in the evenings to keep my mind distracted and also to make me so tired that I can sleep! I know you must be extra tired anyway...may be a less strenuous project? Like putting an album together or something while you've got your feet up with a brew and biscuits Smile

Reebok it must be so hard! I kept my bfp news from my parents. also didn't tell them about the mmc. It was so hard. Can you fake an earache or headache??

cherry what did the doctor say?

fruitlovingmonkey · 26/08/2015 07:27

Wow carrot that's brilliant that they saw a heartbeat so early.
cherry I hope everything went well at the docs. Fx for you.
Sorry to tell you this coco but the knicker checking doesn't stop when you get your bfp! My symptoms are very mild atm (increased thirst, needing to pee, boobs bigger but not sore) and it's driving me mad with worry. Trying to hold off until Friday to do a CB digital and see where the weeks are up to.

CarrotVan · 26/08/2015 06:41

Hi everyone, hope all is ok. Am away at parents with siblings at the moment and really struggling as hiding pregnancy from them. DD is playing up like mad and keeps throwing tantrums and I'm exhausted. Need some help and everywhere thinks I'm being a grumpy cos with pms. Hid in the bathroom and cried for a while today as feeling like a failure.
Still haven't been to gp. Partly because I'm away and partly because I'm convinced there's no point. My head is really messed up.

Fx cherry. Hope all goes well.

Paws I'm sorry to hear you're going through such a rough time. I totally agree that men do not understand. Glad you are begging a referral. Hopefully they can help you in some way.

Keeping fx for everyone waiting on bfps!

coco808 · 25/08/2015 22:18

paws I recently bought the Neal's yard 'women's balance' aromatherapy blend...cannot recommend it enough. Smells so good and is meant to help with hormonal confusion/imbalance. Just a though...

coco808 · 25/08/2015 22:15

thank you for sharing all your BFP details. I understand all the anxiety. I would be the same if I ever get there again.

cherry fingers crossed for you...hoping all is well and there is a healthy little heartbeat in there.Brew

paws sorry things are so rubbish at the moment. Your DH should be in the dog house for his comment! I think men cannot understand what we must go through with all the knicker checking(anyone else do that???), constant analyzing of symptoms, peeing on expensive ovulation sticks and trying to figure whether the lines on the pregnancy test is in your imagination or not? Not making an excuse for DH but just saying that no matter how supportive husbands or anyone else in real life is, they can never understand unless they have been there and sampled the desperation for pregnancy.

So nice to talk here without people thinking I am bonkers (well some of you may think I am anyway) Grin

so I am on my wtf cd 13...no CM yet Sad no signs of any ovulation...waiting....waiting...waiting...

fruitlovingmonkey · 25/08/2015 22:09

Glad you got a referral paws, hope it doesn't take too long. Maybe there are some other things you can do to help your general wellbeing while you wait. Depending on your free time and budget perhaps try yoga, acupuncture, herbalist, vitamin d from getting out in the sun. I think you have a brilliant diet already, is that right?
If I got AF this month I was planning a trip to the "posh" swimming pool with saunas and steam room afterwards to cheer myself up.
Congrats on the scan carrot how many weeks are you now?

CarrotVan · 25/08/2015 20:35

I've not seen keys since the last thread I don't think. Glad you're getting some support paws

OP posts:
Allmychildrenhavepaws · 25/08/2015 20:14

Anyone remember keys? Not heard from her in a while, I hope she's ok...

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 25/08/2015 20:10

Knew I missed someone!

coco and sakura...hope you're both well x

So anyone due to test end of the week?
I'm due sat/sun...well, mon/tue really, but I'm impatient and test from 9dpo! Confused

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 25/08/2015 20:06

Doc agreed its pmdd (pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder)
But short of putting me on 'the pill' to prevent me ovulating, there's nothing they can do medically...obviously not going back onto birth control!
Been referred for psychotherapy with mental health team to try and deal with it that way. I asked to be referred as I know it works wonders (previously had ocd and overcame it with cbt)
Who knows, perhaps I'm pg and my body's going batshit crazy due to hormones...my poor brain probably doesn't have a clue what day it is, one minute it's pg for three months, then not, then pg again, then not...now possibly pg again!?
Apparently women are more susceptible to pmdd after a hormonal trauma such as child birth, or miscarriage,...and the odds of it developing increase after each-hormonal-event!
Probably my own fault for not giving my brain and body a rest after the miscarriages, something has malfunctioned, like wires being pulled. Its not a hormonal deficiency, just confusion.

So pleased your scan went well carrot
That's great that they're giving you another one before your 12 week one! X

emu, fruit, carrot...thank you for your posts...

cherry fx for you hun x

mama hi! Hope you're doing well? Long time no speak? X

Hope I haven't missed anyone...

CarrotVan · 25/08/2015 19:24

Cherrypie5 · 25/08/2015 15:36

Meant to say abdominal pain not abo pain!

Cherrypie5 · 25/08/2015 15:34

Congratulations on your bfp fruit!

coco I waited for one period after my miscarriage in June then fell on the first cycle, was totally shocked it happened so quickly, as wasn't really trying, just took the whatever happens, happens approach and first pg took 6 months, I guess what they say about being more fertile after mc might be true.

carrot good luck at your scan, fx everything will be ok.

I haven't been on here much in the last week, as I've been away. On Sunday i had Some lower abo pain, not like period cramps, but like a sharp pinching pain, then in the evening I had some pale orange spotting on my knickers and also when I wiped. I had it again yestday, some pain (sharper this time on left side) and brown spotting, then today just brown spotting on my panty liner :( Im seeing my gp in an hour to 1) register the pregnancy and 2) get referred for an early scan. I'm just over 6 weeks, hadn't seen the go yet due to being away.

Feel absolutely terrified history is repeating itself, same symptoms as last time, just 6 weeks earlier this time.

CarrotVan · 24/08/2015 15:19

I am waiting for my EPU scan

fruitlovingmonkey · 24/08/2015 12:15

Sorry you are having a tough time paws. I hope you manage to get to the doctors today. Go easy on yourself and fx your hubby realises what a huge physical and emotional trauma you've been through this year and gets his act together.

CarrotVan · 24/08/2015 12:11

I'm so sorry things are so tough paws. I hope the doctor is helpful and kind. After glandular fever it's not uncommon for people to get a version of post-viral depression. It's such a horrid thing to have had, particularly alongside everything else

And a massive smack in the face with a wet fish for MrPaws. What an insensitive thing to say.

OP posts:
Emu123 · 24/08/2015 06:36

paws really sorry you're struggling. I think definitely see the doctor and tell them how you feel. You don't want your relationship to suffer too Flowers

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 23/08/2015 21:34

Just poured my heart out to dh,

His response....?

"what kind of a mother are you going to be!"

Just don't want to even be here right now

If i don't post for a while, please don't take offence...i really don't know what to do with myself at the moment...
