Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

Sorry to hear you're going through this paws - must be very worrying for you but hope a and e are able to help. Let us know how you get on

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 03/09/2015 09:52

I'm going to a&e and demand progesterone levels checked! Hcg rising rapidly as my lines are getting darker, so I don't think there's anything wrong with the baby, I'm almost certain it's low progesterone. Docs referred me to hospital gyne, phoned hospital and they said it's my gp that does it! Phoned gp and they said, nope, its the hospital!!!
So fed up with waiting for someone to pull their finger out, just going to hospital, they've left it so long to check my levels, now I'm f***g bleeding yet again!
Want to scream at them!

CarrotVan · 03/09/2015 09:08

Paws I saw this on the pregnant after MC thread. I'm so sorry you're having this worry. Can you get to an EPU and rest up until then?

Well the bleeding's started again...

coco808 · 02/09/2015 21:55

sorry to hear about all the worries reebok and paws
i've got my fingers crossed for sticky beans

don't know if I have ovulated or not but I can't dtd anymore!! keep thinking one more day till I get positive OPK.... but nothing is happening

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 02/09/2015 13:31

I know what fanny daggers are, I had them for three days around implantation this time round, I have stabbing pains in actual uterus,....fanny daggers are more like a bolt of lightening shooting up through the vagina and cervix...horrible! Only last about half a second, but stop you in your tracks!
I hope gp goes ok today,...why don't you ask to be referred to gyne at your hospital, they cant 'not' refer you if you specifically ask. And the gyne department will be able to do more for you in terms of monitoring the pregnancy, checking hormone levels, blood tests, early scan etc...?

Reebok · 02/09/2015 10:45

Unfortunately symptoms mean nothing to me. I've mc before with severe sickness to the point I had to be put on a drip in hospital. Had had those stabbing pains down below too. Apparently called 'fanny daggers' and are normal. Got gp app today and I'm dreading it. Doubt will be sent for a scan. Gp is rubbish!

How is everyone else getting on?

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 01/09/2015 21:58

Aw bless you, i hope you feel better soon, but the symptoms are reassuring aren't they, hopefully it means your wee bean is a strong sticky one and is letting you know so! Wink
They're not so much period pains...more stabbs in uterus, don't remember having this pain before? Only when mc'ing did I have this type of discomfort...fc its just my little bean making a new home, don't think I would handle a 3rd mc in 7 months! Are you going to go to doctors and ask for reassurance scan? You must be about 6-7 weeks now? Hb would be there by now most likely X

Reebok · 01/09/2015 21:48

I had period cramps until sometime last week. Still having the occasional twinge. Had some beige-ish discharge today so little worried! Keep googling and other women have experienced it so fx it's nothing. Being very sick now. Can't eat/drink...trapped wind/nausea and vomiting too. Feel like crap!! Hopefully it means bean is sticking!
Glad that you're being looked after paws! Fx for a sticky bean!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 01/09/2015 21:36

Making sure I book early scan for 7weeks (the day before we go away) and no earlier, so we have the best chance of seeing hb, don't want to go any earlier and see nothing, then spend days-on-end in limbo re-living the process of mmc/pregnancy no.1

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 01/09/2015 21:29

Thank you ladies Smile

reebok how long did the cramps last for? Got some nasty cramps in uterus today at 12dpo...im guessing just due to changing shape and such? I know how you were feeling, keep expecting to see blood everytime I pop to the loo Blush

Went doctors today to ask about progesterone and aspirin etc, as I've heard good and bad about both...
Being referred to gyne in hospital to follow me closely with this pregnancy as I've recently lost two-in-a-row. They going to monitor my progesterone, speak to me about meds, and sort out an early scan!
I only hope there's a heartbeat when we go for scan, it'll be just a few days before holiday, and I can only imagine how the holiday will be if the scan before we go shows nothing...should be one by then though surely? Hb starts anything from 5-7 wks right?

WineSpider · 31/08/2015 15:01

paws congratulations after a tough time for you x

Sakura03 · 31/08/2015 14:49

Wow paws congratulations!!! I'll be back soon for a proper catch up x

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 31/08/2015 13:33

Thank you all so much for your congratulations and advice!

Going doctors tomorrow to see what they say about progesterone and aspirin... Xx

My symptoms have pretty much subsided now apart from a few...bit concerned Hmm

driftingclouds · 30/08/2015 21:28

Just popping by to check in having not been on mumsnet for ages but wanted to say a massive congratulations to Paws. I am so so pleased for you and fingers crossed it is smooth sailing from here!

MimiDoddrioni · 30/08/2015 18:13

Congratulations Paws!

I'd be wary of taking aspirin without specific advice from your dr. I'm heterozygote for "sticky blood" or clotting, which means I inherited one set of faulty genes from my parents, the other set are normal. My GP mentioned about taking aspirin, so I started taking whilst waiting for my results from the RMC. But my consultant at St Marys, Manchester, is adamant that the advice about taking aspirin is out of date and may do more harm than good. Don't panic if you've been taking it though!

Sorry to go against the tide here but that's just what I've been advised Confused

Emu123 · 30/08/2015 16:42

Congratulations paws - so pleased for you.

I think go for it on the aspirin. I went to see a private fertility specialist after my mc as a was worried to start trying again in case history repeated itself and knew the NHS wouldn't do anything. Anyway, he said to let him know as soon as I got a positive and he would prescribe aspirin and progesterone on the basis that it won't do any harm but will support a healthy pregnancy xxx

MamaLazarou · 30/08/2015 14:19

(We didn't tell our friends I was pregnant and I would NEVER let it slip that it's a sad anniversary for us)

MamaLazarou · 30/08/2015 14:18

Hope you don't mind if I have a bit of a whinge.

Some friends of ours are celebrating their first wedding anniversary today. Their wedding day was the day I got my BFP for the first of three unsuccessful pregnancies. It's such a sad thought that I will forever be reminded of my first MC on this day every year. We were so happy that day Sad

coco808 · 30/08/2015 13:16

Congrats paws!!!! Sooo happy for you. Fingers crossed everything will be ok. Regarding Asprin...my knowledge is that there is no harm in taking it in low dose for a couple of week.

CarrotVan · 30/08/2015 12:50

paws!!!! Fx for you

OP posts:
Reebok · 30/08/2015 11:45

That's a definite line there paws! Congrats Hun! Re the aspirin, no advice but I'm sure someone will be along shortly who knows.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/08/2015 10:46

Major diarrhoea today, feel like death warmed up! Definite bfp this morning...
I've been wondering if taking a low dose asprin may help this time around...(obviously I know it could only possibly prevent mc if you have been diagnosed as having blood clotting issues)
My fertility tests won't be for at least another month, I know it wouldn't do any harm if taken and not needed, but I'm worried about needing it and not taking it?

fruitlovingmonkey · 30/08/2015 08:04

Exciting paws when is af due? Glad you can learn from our mistakes re: spicy food!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 29/08/2015 18:25

Thanks guys, I done a FRER at 8am and was neg...well I say neg, if I tilted and squinted then there was a brief hint of a line! (could also be imagination, but that's how my last bfp started off)
The ic was done at about 4pm with only holding wee for a couple of hours and I drank in that time too!
Definitely never had an evap that appeared that quickly and that apparent Grin
I'm feeling pretty certain of tomorrows results, bbs are killing me, I've been burping like crazy, sick once due to bad reflux, and upset stomach today!
Thanks for the advice about spicy food, I love my chilli sauce, on EVERYTHING...but they suggest spicy food to try and encourage labor, so would make sense that our body's don't appreciate being bombarded with chilli and such Confused

mama sorry no +hpt this month, you're not out till AF shows though x
