Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

paws, you poor thing, just what you don't need now. Good luck with the tests. Thinking of you xx

Mummyofonesofar · 14/07/2015 19:45

paws sorry you're having a crappy time. I am so hopeful that your tests show up something really fixable and easy to sort.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 14/07/2015 18:18

Good luck to all who are due to test x

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 14/07/2015 18:09

Hi all, well now i have a HUGE abscess in neck, antibiotics and may have to go into hospital for operation to drain it :'( I'm getting 5 blood tests done to check why I can't hold onto my pregnancies... Testing for thrombophilia, aps, blood clotting issues, thyroid function, anti nuclear antibodies, ferritin, and full blood count..... Nothing they can test Dh for as he has no trouble in getting me pregnant, so nothing to do with sperm mobility, doc said there are no tests he can have as he 'is' getting me pregnant! I know the problem is with me, scan on Thursday which was booked when I was pregnant and started bleeding, decided to keep it to make sure everything looks ok in there, as had retained products last time that ended in ERPC. Blood tests next week, and back to doctors if abscess hasn't gone down as will need opperation at hospital :( life sucks in general, but you know what? I count myself lucky in a way, as I'm getting 5 tests done that would cost a lot of money, and some women really have to fight to get them tests approved by gp! A couple of months and I'll be 'back on the horse' so to speak. Just hope I get my sticky bean 3rd time round if they find some sort of manageable reason for the mc's, who knows, there may be nothing wrong and the two mc's were just super crapy luck and I am lucky next time? Either way i really hope so....

Tftpoo · 14/07/2015 16:27

I thought I had symptoms last week (mostly very sore boobs) but that's gone now. I think it's just a very long cycle but we dtd twice around the time of a positive opk so I'm a little hopeful.

fruitlovingmonkey · 14/07/2015 11:51

Thanks tftpoo sorry you're in limbo. Not quite the same situation but my last cycle was very long. My gynae told me to forget about the extended first part and expect AF about two weeks after ov. It actually showed up 20 days after ov but it stopped me worrying too much in the meantime. Do you have any symptoms?
sakura this is my first real tww. I got pregnant quickly the first time so hadn't started opks or symptom spotting, then 3 months of pregnancy followed by MMC and complications that lost me another 3 months so I've done a lot of waiting but not this type! I started running a few weeks ago but I'm not experienced enough to carry on in pregnancy so I'm sticking to walking just in case. Must be a great distraction if you are used to it though. I did acupuncture to help get rid of my cyst and I have carried on going, hopefully today he will focus it on implantation.

Tftpoo · 14/07/2015 10:10

Hi all. Just checking in after a few days.

Congrats allthereis, great news.

So sorry to hear about the cp carrot.

Good luck with your tww fruit and sakura, hopefully you are more patient that me!

I'm not sure if I'm still in the tww or not - I had weird brown spotting for about 24hrs last thurs/fri and nothing since. I am 36 days post ERPC and 15 dpo. I am wondering that as it took 12 days to get a negative after ERPC, my cycle is going to be 12 days longer than normal so AF isn't due until the weekend. I know I need to test but in a way I don't want to as I don't want to see a bfn.

Sakura03 · 14/07/2015 08:29

Just reread my post - obviously I don't just go jogging in the tww that would just be stupidGrin

Sakura03 · 14/07/2015 08:26

Congratulations Allthereis. So sorry to hear what you're going through carrot Flowers. paws so happy that a bit of nagging made your dh see sense and started taking the vitaminsSmile. monkey how are you getting on? Do you do anything special in the tww? I'm just trying to eat well and go jogging. At the weekend I'm off to see my mum for a couple of days so that should take my mind off it for a while (I hope) but most of the time I do find it hard not to think about it... I constantly tell myself not to and that what will be will beHmm

fruitlovingmonkey · 13/07/2015 23:49

Congratulations allthereis please try not to worry...not that I can talk, I had a major freak out over unwittingly breathing in chemicals only 2dpo. I think we are allowed to be a bit psycho post MC, not that it helps.
Thanks for the advice paws are bodies are confusing aren't they?! FYI Pregnacare doesn't contain much magnesium because it is bulky, you might want to take a capsule on the side but probably check with a doctor.
So sorry carrot hope your doctor can help in some way.
Here we go with the waiting sakura Hmm

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 13/07/2015 17:03

carrot I agree with mummy
Glad you have a dc to bring you some comfort. X

Mummyofonesofar · 13/07/2015 14:16

I would do it can count as mc number 2. Though I know someone who struggled to get their cp noted down as the GP hadn't seen a BFP themselves. So maybe take the sticks in when you see them.

CarrotVan · 13/07/2015 13:45

I have a little boy paws. I'm just not sure whether I should see my GP to get it on record or not.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 13/07/2015 13:28

mummy I agree, I'm relieved he's taking it now. Sorry no sign of O yet Sad it will happen sooner or later though, so hold on hun. X
carrotv I'm so sorry love, I know how shit it is. I'm getting tested as I don't have any children yet and have had two mc's in a row. If you don't have children yet, I would push for so we blood tests. But if you already have dc's I would imagine they will say Tha they cant look into it until you've had three mc's. Sorry for your loss hun Flowers X
allthere congratulations, chill out, I'm sure everythings fine. X
adventure lovely to hear from you, glad you are well. X

Hi All

I've had a break from the site and was on holiday last week but just caught up and found the new thread !

Paws so sorry that you've been through this again. I can't imagine how you've got through it a 2nd time. Big hugs !

It's actually been really good for me to have a break from these threads so if you don't see me on here for a while you'll know why but I do wish everyone lucky BFPs !!

Mummyofonesofar · 13/07/2015 11:28

Congratulations. My GP said the only thing that can effect implantation and early pregnancy is scuba diving - other than that - the odd thing before you test won't do any damage.

CarrotVan · 13/07/2015 11:23

Don't worry about it allthereis and congratulations to you!

OP posts:
Mummyofonesofar · 13/07/2015 11:22

Sorry CarrotV I would mention it to the GP, maybe have a phone conversation with them or go in if you prefer face to face.

AllThereIs · 13/07/2015 11:22

Oh no, carrot. Ignore my thoughtless post. I'm so sorry Sad

AllThereIs · 13/07/2015 11:21

Hey ladies, I was on the board a few months ago, got pregnant and then had my 2nd miscarriage.

I've just had the following....

Need talked down off the ceiling, I went to a spa this weekend, used the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi etc, and have pretty much drank non stop since Friday. What have I done?! I have no symptoms and was sure I wasn't pregnant so it would all be fine. Wwaaaaah.

Congratulations on your line carrot

Fresh red blood when I went to the loo - I guess I'm out for this cycle. I'm assuming chemical pregnancy

Having had a MC and now a chemical should I see my GP just so it's on my notes? The MC was dealt with by the EPU

OP posts:
Mummyofonesofar · 13/07/2015 09:27

CarrotV I hope it is just late implantation hun, fx for the next few days for you x

CarrotVan · 13/07/2015 09:21

Pre-MC it was 14 days I think. My WTF cycle it was 12 days. I guess it could be really late implantation leading to test delays. Or more likely a chemical pregnancy.

I'm incredibly bloated today which could mean anything

Mummyofonesofar · 13/07/2015 09:14

How long is your LP usually? It is very odd

CarrotVan · 13/07/2015 09:13

Nope. I get a faint line on a Superdrug or FRER but nothing on anything else.

It's all very annoying
