Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

CarrotV crossed posts, I think it can take a while to sort itself out – good that it is no longer heavy or painful – maybe the extra gush on Monday meant that AF will be shorter. Though the AF after my wtf cycle was on and off for days with potting then bleeding then nothing then spotting as on my chart just posted.

Tft you only move when you are ready lovely. There is no rush – I just hope your pregnantness rubs off on the rest of us! I understand you being apprehensive, you will know when you are ready to tell people.

CarrotVan · 16/07/2015 09:08

Tft I don't think anyone would mind if you stuck about here until you felt confident enough to move over

Thanks for all your lovely messages and reassurance.

I really hope everything goes well for you at hospital paws, take it easy.

Fx mummy, looks good!

I don't know about your period carrot, our bodies seem to go a bit crazy after mc/cp, it must take a while for all the hormones to sort themselves out.

Good luck wine and everyone else here. Take care and be kind to yourselves.

I guess I should move over to pregnant after mc thread but I'm a bit nervous! Maybe I'll lurk on there for a little bit, just want to make sure this bean sticks before getting excited about being pg. Other than DH and everyone on this thread, I'm not going to tell anyone about this for ages yet. Sounds silly, but don't want to announce it to anyone else yet, even virtually on MN!

CarrotVan · 16/07/2015 08:36

Oh paws you are in the wars. That neck thing sounds horrible. I hope they sort it out quickly. Although maybe a nice stay in hospital with nothing to do but rest would be good right now

paws you poor thing! I hope you don’t need the op and some stronger antibiotics can get it down. And I also hope everything shows as complete at your scan today.

I got my positive opk yesterday and a temp dip today so fx that was ov and I get my rise tomorrow Grin Have been DTD lots and lots. Here is my chart so far Grin

I'm having a weird period post-CP. Heavy and painful on Monday, medium, Tuesday, light Wednesday, virtually nothing today. Normally I have about 4 days of heavy, and 3 days of light and if anything I would have expected a post CP period to be heavier than normal. Any thoughts?

Paws - not at all! It's the only philosophy you can really have about all this. Have had a pretty hard few days, delayed emotional reaction i think as i didn't really cry much at the time. Things sound pretty rough for you so hope you feel better soon.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 15/07/2015 23:59

Congratulations tft!!! Don't worry, implantation bleeding around the time of your period doesn't necessarily mean late implantation, its often just that the blood has taken time to travel down and 'show'
Also women who implant late, would not get a very strong positive at 16dpo. Average implantation days are 789 for the average 28 day cycle. X

mummy I know how that feels to have someone say that to you, but it makes more sense hearing it from someone who is going through it the same time as you. I wanted to slap people who said. " oh well at least you had a practice run" or "well at least you know you can conceive" ..... My worst one was "well it was really early so it wasn't a 'real' baby was it"
You can tell these people have no clue as to how much their words can hurt! Have fun dtd. X
spider I hope I didn't offend you in any way with my post about things happening for a reason? I just found it helped me to try and justify why something so cruel can happen. X

As for me, I'm not well. Golf ball sized abscess in my neck, am ill like flu, feel like I'm gonna pass out all the time. Been in bed for days. May have to have operation to drain it under general anesthetic as its not a skin abscess, but an internal one.
Got my scan tomorrow as planned, so hoping there is nothing left like last time....then straight downstairs to A&E to see if I need to be hospitalized, never felt this ill in all my life

Mummyofonesofar · 15/07/2015 22:09

Nope I haven't.

CarrotVan · 15/07/2015 16:35

Has anyone seen keys about? She's not posted for a while AFAIK. I hope she's ok

fruit yeah I thought that - just waiting for my temp rise tomorrow or the next day Grin

fruitlovingmonkey · 15/07/2015 11:42

Congratulations tft that's great news.
Hope you're feeling better wine, I guess the holiday will be very tough. I don't think late ov is a problem mummy as long as your cycle is extended to include the full luteal phase

WineSpider · 15/07/2015 09:57

Good news - this thread deserves some happy times. Let's hope it's catching!

Mummyofonesofar · 15/07/2015 09:28

Thanks everyone, did anyone else have late ov on the cycle after the wtf?

CarrotVan · 15/07/2015 08:58

Congratulations tft that's wonderful news.

Mummyofonesofar · 15/07/2015 08:08

Tft very pleased for you Hun! Congratulations!!

Got my solid smiley on CB dual hormone test today! After 8 days of flashing smiley faces Grin

Tftpoo · 15/07/2015 07:39

Sorry to hear you're having a rough time too wine.

I hope I don't upset anyone here because I know just how much everyone wants their own bfp but I just wanted to let you got mine this morning. Very clear, immediate line on a FRER so fingers crossed it's real. I am 17 dpo and it seems like the spotting I had last week was implantation bleeding, just quite late implantation (now worrying that is bad and might cause me to mc again). I'm Not going to get too excited yet and am trying to think of it as a potential baby rather than a baby.

Mummyofonesofar · 15/07/2015 06:48

wine big hugs lovely. We are always caught out - just when we think we are getting there something will make the day extra hard. Sorry you're going away with your pregnant friend. I hope she is sensitive to your feelings.

Wise words paws though if during my mc another person said to me "everything happens for a reason" I would have hit them!

WineSpider · 14/07/2015 22:59

Wise words paws thank you. In bed with a glass of water now which is probably for the best! Some days are harder than others and it can take you by surprise. Flowers to everyone.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 14/07/2015 22:33

Thank you all for your kind words, you always cheer me up xxx
spider its early days hun if you're only 3 weeks post mc, forgive me if I'm wrong? I have a friend with a tube removed due to an ectopic, she had 3 mcs too, was told she had PCOS and that she could never have children....now she has the most beautiful, healthy, happy little girl!
Our journeys may seem to last forever, and sometimes it may seem like there's no light at the end of the tunnel, but we are put on this planet to learn, and I believe everything happens for a reason, good or bad....just remember, we need the darkness to see the light. Just keep your faith in purpose and try to take what you can from all experiences. X

(I'm not a bible basher btw, but a spiritualist who believes in something greater after this life. Each to their own)
Enjoy your wine Wine Wink

Jesus wept paws and winespider what a shitty day

OP posts:
WineSpider · 14/07/2015 20:39

My day just keeps getting worse. Just wrote a whole post out lost 4g signal and it's all gone!

I am sorry to those of you on the low point of this shitty emotional rollercoaster. Early testing has its downsides because you cant unknow what you know but it doesn't seem to 'count' in medical terms

Aweek ago i was convinced I was ovulating after a couple of negative pregnancy tests and opks, followed by a solid simley. Yesterday I got a faint but pink line on FRER so did another one this morning. Even fainter. Nothing this afternoon.

Must be the HCG still on its way out after 3 weeks. Had a +ve opk so who knows what is going on. I am one fucked off, symptom spotting obsessive who can't stop peeing on sticks.

Due to go on holiday this weekend with a close friend who is 12 weeks and due 10 days after i would have been. Our toddlers are the same age. Dreading it as I can't handle it.

Then feel bad as another friend has just lost a tube with an ectopic. I know that's a mega rant but no one in RL understands. Having a big glass of wine now as I've got no bloody reason not to. ...
