Support, shoulders to cry on, virtual gin and the best cheer leaders MN can offer you. We've been there and it's awful but we'll help each other through to better times.

Hi ladies, I'm still here. I've just been laying low while I had AF. I had almost exactly the same pattern as you sakura, only one heavy day compared to my normal 3. On the plus side, last month was a 30 day cycle, which means it'll be much easier to predict when my period is due. I am also trying to relax a bit and not be so focused on ttc. I was desperate for it to happen last month because the dates were so perfect (would have been an edd of the exact weekend I had my mc this year) but it didn't happen. I am finding it hard to achieve a balance between positive thinking (which I really believe in) and not getting obsessed in case I am disappointed.
Good luck for testing tomorrow paws, hope you get the blood tests soon too.
I have to go against the grain mummy, I wouldn't recommend lying to get a scan because if there was something wrong then your records wouldn't be accurate. Im sure everything will be fine, most people who have a mc go on to have a healthy pg. My mmc must have happened a couple of days after a very healthy scan, so they aren't always useful but I understand the need for reassurance. Is a private scan an option for you?
In other news, my nutribullet has arrived and I love it! Need to get some seeds and things to boost up in my smoothies.

Mummyofonesofar · 30/07/2015 22:31

I'm not on any yet paws but have a Facebook page with the bumsnet girls.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/07/2015 22:28

mummy thank you for the offer of that thread...joined one that someone suggested 'recurrent miscarriage support thread' .... Would join the one you suggested but don't want to confuse myself with too many threads and names Confused
Fc I can join you on an antenatal thread soon Smile xx

RalucaMorena · 30/07/2015 19:46

Girls, I have to say yesterday was a tough day! I think it was the heaviest af since first mc. Luckily I'm over the heavy part now and feel relieved! Bring on cd10+ so ia can start testing for opk! Smile

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/07/2015 17:39

tft don't be silly, of course you deserve it x
carrot thanks for the link, I have pretty much read everything on google Wink
mummy good luck with getting your scan, ill be doing the same thing when I'm in your shoes! X
Reebok there's no medical reason to wait, only dating reasons, we tried straight away but didn't fall in first cycle...i was kinda glad we didn't though, as I felt that perhaps I had given my body more time to heal and get back to normal...we fell in second cycle but sadly ended in another mc....
I think it also depends on how far along you were, if it was an early mc, like 4-5 weeks, then there probably won't be that much healing to do, whereas a mc around 7-10 weeks would have had more of an impact on your body.
The choice is yours really, we are now in our tww in our first cycle after a 4 week mc...testing as from tomorrow, even if I was pregnant though, I probably wouldn't get a bfp until at least Saturday! Feeling a lot of cramps going on today, hoping implantation x

Reebok · 30/07/2015 15:55

Hey all, hope you're doing ok.
Good news...bleeding has finally stopped. Still unsure if I should wait for my first cycle before trying again...really don't want to wait. Just want to be pregnant again.

CarrotVan · 30/07/2015 12:00

Sak it's the first day of full flow that you start from so CD1 would be last Friday and you are CD7 today. Maybe start with opks on Sunday

I'm ok thanks, AFAIK I am still pregnant but it's hard to believe as I've had few symptoms. Of course that is making me worry a lot. I had some spotting at the very beginning (around 5 weeks) and they did a scan but couldn't see much as it was too early. I'm booked for another one next Thurs, which feels like a long time away.

I do think of everyone on here a lot, you were so kind to me. I almost feel guilty for getting pregnant on the first cycle sometimes, like I don't deserve it. Good luck to everyone here xx

Mummyofonesofar · 30/07/2015 11:51

It is naughty but I think I will lie if needs be. The mw said its pointless as it just shows I am ok on that day but that's all I want!

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/07/2015 11:28

I doubt it carrot, I suppose they might consider it if the tests indicate an autoimmune problem...we shall see

CarrotVan · 30/07/2015 11:09

I was wondering if they might refer you to an auto-immune specialist paws. Hope it goes ok on Monday

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 30/07/2015 11:04

Oh bugger! Sorry guys, I completely forgot about some of the names I hadn't seen for a while...Blush

mummy if you told your doctor a little white lie, you could say that you have had some spotting / light bleeding? I know its naughty, but it may just get you a referral for the scan you want?

adventure hi, hope you're doing ok? Thank you for popping by and reminding me you're around, I hope you get a bfp soon....you may just get one by surprise Wink

tft hi! How are you getting on?

sakura don't be silly, we 'have' known each other for a fair few weeks...my brain is just a bit like a sieve atm! I would count cd1 as the 'first day of full flow', even if the flow is light...

carrot hello to you too! I'm plodding along I spose...haven't actually 'had' the blood tests yet, they have been delayed due to glandular fever as the virus messes a lot with immune system and cell counts etc, seeing doctor Monday to ask when I should book in to have them! No referrals yet, don't think they will do that unless you have had 3 mcs... Thanks for the link, I'll have a gander!

Again, I'm so sorry to all of you guys for saying I knew nobody here, my brain is just crap atm, and I've only really been seeing names that are fairly new!
Haven't seen fruit for a while, or mama
Hope they're both doing ok...

RalucaMorena · 30/07/2015 10:56

Mummy just call the gp and tell him/herr you have pain on one side and they will most probably arrange an early scan. It worked for me! it will probably be for 6w as they don't see much before but still, you will know before you leave. Oh! I miss Bulgaria! Used to go there during summer at Golden Sands! Smile

CarrotVan · 30/07/2015 09:24

I thought this looked interesting paws

CarrotVan · 30/07/2015 09:21

Sorry you're feeling blue paws. Where are you up to in your autoimmune tests? Are they referring you to a specialist?

Congratulations megan that's great news.

Mummy that's annoying that they won't scan you at the EPU. Cry on your GP and hope that triggers a referral? I remember getting lots of sharp stabby pains in the early days with ds and it was all fine.

Sak - if you discount the spotting that's sort a 3 day af...I normally start with the opks around day 9-10 but my af is a week usually so that's only a couple of days after it ends.

And sorry everyone that I've been quiet - so very busy at work that I barely have time to breathe. I'm in the tww, due to test on the 8th according to FF. I'm in a weird headspace as I've just found out that the wife of dh's friend has had a mc at 9wks. I was so jealous when we heard she was pregnant (I was in the middle of a cp) and now I feel like a cow.

Tftpoo how are you getting on ? I still see you when I lurk on the pregnant after mc thread. I just have a catch up on there every now and again to see how graduates from here are getting on and to read some happy stories !!!

Mummyofonesofar · 30/07/2015 09:05

Sakura that's confusing! Maybe use the books just in case. You don't want to miss ov.

Just booked my first mw app for 24th. Begging for an 8 week scan. The epu said last time that they could scan me. And as I fly to Bulgaria on 27th I really want to know everything is ok. But they said no Sad she said to try and see if my GP will refer me but I doubt they would either.

Sakura03 · 30/07/2015 08:50

paws I'm still here although I realise that I havent "known you" that long. Hope you're okay under the circumstances. I'm trying to figure out what cd I'm on. I expected af last Thursday but started spotting on the Monday this carried on and by Wednesday night it had turned into a light flow. Thursday spotting Friday light flow Saturday afternoon heavy flow, Sunday light flow, Monday and Tuesday spotting. I normally have af for 3 days so I'm really confused as to what's been going on. I'm tempted to start using opks tomorrow as I don't want to miss ov but I also normally get loads of ewcm so could wait until it appearsConfused monkey are you still around? Hope you're okay.
Hope the rest of you are okay too of course!

Tftpoo · 30/07/2015 08:35

I haven't posted here for a while but I thought I'd see how everyone is doing. Special hello to paws, thinking of you going through the wtf cycle again. You and adventure gave me so much support on here, I just wanted to wish you all the best for speedy and sticky bfps. And everyone else here of course xx

Adventuregame · 30/07/2015 08:15

Paws you know me !!! I'm not properly trying yet but should be hoping for that BFP by the end of the year I guess ? Gulp !!!

Mummyofonesofar · 29/07/2015 22:25

Oh no paws I want to see you get another bfp so will be around anyway.

I recommend the bumsnet bus, a few of us there have had mcs. It's a great support hun. I'm too worried to move on really. Will be happy if I can get a 8 week scan before we go on holiday and get the a ok.

Allmychildrenhavepaws · 29/07/2015 22:16

Good news mummy! Pains are just stretching of womb and ligaments etc, or as you said, deeper implantation...
I don't know anyone on here now, and feel a little lost, everyone I knew has had their bfp's and moved on...feeling a bit sad as I had my bfp too and lost it again :(
Going to test on weekend, fc I get another bfp, but not convinced as its my wtf cycle AGAIN!
Please pop over from time to time, and keep in touch...best of luck with everything hun xxx

Mummyofonesofar · 29/07/2015 22:08

So today was the day AF was due and it has passed without a spot. I may ring the midwife tomorrow and get a 8 week app in the diary to work towards! Going to do another IC in the morning to check line is getting darker, will be 13dpo then. I stopped temping as soon as I got my bfp as I didn't want to stress too much. Getting lots of pains though, some very sharp and take my breath away - hoping it is just deep implantation or wind!

good luck for those starting the tww xx

RalucaMorena · 29/07/2015 10:22

Good luck! Smile

AtAt · 28/07/2015 17:41
