Short Luteal Phase

So after 6 months of ttc I've worked out I've got a short luteal phase of 9 days, however it could be even less. I get a positive opk on day 19 and 9 days later AF appears. I'm fearing it could be less that 9 days if I ovulate 24-36 hours after a postive opk. No suprises that there hasn't been a bfp yet. I'm thinking this is my obstacle. Seems I've tried everything else. Do I go to my GP? Is there any point? On preconception vitamins with b6 in and have been in them for three months and no changes. Also AF is really painful every month, wondering if there is more to this. Any ideas? Or anyone experienced/ing similar?

Yeah like its like conceive plus, got it off Amazon as not a lot of ewcm present last few months.

Excuse my naivety Mascara, what is preseed? Is that the same as Conceive Plus lubricant or something totally different?! x

Thanks Lindsay, I'm so hoping this is it! But after I was told I'd not ovulated I thought this month was neon impossible. Maybe the dates were all out.

I've just been out and bought more tests. I can't get excited until I know for sure. Not got FRERs this time though, a CB. The last CB I did on Wednesday said 'not pregnant'. I'll probably wait until the morning now.

I'm 8 days late but it was 2 weeks yesterday the last time we dtd according to my app. So if that's when I ovulated it would make sense to only show now. Even DH is saying not to get my hopes up but he could see the line.

The only things I've done differently is the B complex and preseed.

Flymo that is strange. Has it gone completely?

doobeedee I can't actually believe it... I've been so naughty this month, the first time in my tww as I was so sure it was a bfn. I did 7 tests all bfns! Until today...

Looks like a line to me! Don't worry about darkness. It's still early and I've seen lighter. Your prog test was prob just done on the wrong day. It's quite hard to catch the peak.

I'm just worried the line isn't very dark?! Maybe it's too early?! Looked at my app and it would be two weeks yesterday since we last dtd. Definitely had a bit of spotting yesterday though. Anyone? Confused trying not to get my hopes up!

So did the FRER and there is a line. Can you see it, am I going mad?! Is this even possible with a pg level of 1? I'm so confused...

flymo I'm not even a tad getting my hopes up as I've got very light spotting and it just doesn't add up with my pg results. I'll test tomorrow if AF isn't properly here in the morning though, got one last FRER left.

DH is really sick Sad I'm washing my hands every 2 mins!

Back home from the holiday and the FRER I disguarded (as a negative came up instantly) has a faint bfp on it when ive just looked (however it could be an evap line as I did it this morning). Now I'm spotting, sods law... Confused

Fertility appointment is through. 15th Sept Smile

Mascara, been reading up on things and that might be right... The two hormones work together to make the cycle work so not having both functioning properly would make it less of a cycle and more of a 'plateau '.... My friends has pcos, is trying to conceive and is now on myo inositol... You could Read up on this perhaps and have a chat about it when you go to see gp?Xxxx

That's good mrs. I've been reading that if you have low progesterone Af not arriving can be a side effect as if the cycle is annovulatory then it could be that it's estrogen dominant and the body just ticks over. Probably more bloods needed and maybe something to kick start my body! Anyone had similar? Am I right in saying this could be pointing towards PCOS?

Morning, how are we all? AF still hasn't arrived and I'm a tad worried about it never returning. Got the doctors on Wednesday though so at least I can add it to the list Hmm
