Hayley i did resist... Waiting for af or will test tomorrow....

Mummyofonesofar · 02/07/2015 10:12

Hayley Put it up too late to find out really – tonight will be the result but I won’t know as I am out with the girls tonight.

AF has buggered off already! Very happy with that as it is only CD4 and was so worried about crappy AF after mc Grin

hayleycookie · 02/07/2015 09:55

Good Morning everyone!

Firstly - fingers are crossed for you today Miss. Hope everything is ok.

Southy Ignore your ''friend''. What an insensitive thing to say! Don't feel sad. You are going to be a wonderful mummy, and it will happen for you.

Mummy Did the bag trick work for the flies?

Lovely Did you resist testing this morning?

wish1406 · 02/07/2015 09:48

southy you will get there lovely! Some ppl are so insensitive! Until you go through it nobody can really understand how hard ttc is! I had a similar experience when my SIL told me to stop ttc as it was inconvenient timing... (We are doing a sport event in august - I've pulled out but she doesn't know yet) She can be very selfish! She wants me to wait until after summer! She will get a shock when she finds out!!! Hope u feel better today x

miss is there an early pregnancy unit near you? When did it happen? Were you straining on the loo? That's when mine happened. The nurses and docs told me it's very common. Are you having any pain? Hope you are ok love. I know exactly how you feel! It's so stressful!!! Fx I hope you are ok xxx

Hi southy, hope you're feeling better today. Honestly some people really don't think about what they say; and what nonsense about being too old to look after children.

Mummyofonesofar · 02/07/2015 09:21

Southy I would tell them you are TTC lovely. They won’t pry any more into it but at least the insensitive conversations stopped. We had lots of this at FILs funeral “when are you having more DCs then” (this one will be DPs first, but DS called him Daddy since age 4) When we said we are TTC everyone said “good luck” and changed the subject. Was such a relief!

MissMartin oh lovely, I hope you are ok and get seen by the GP asap. Normally gynae unit can scan at all hours – just needs a Dr who is trained to do them so you may have been able to have one last night. GP should send you straight to hospital for a check up. Let us know how you get on. Have you had a scan already?

night enjoy your last day! So envious you are getting away – Spain isn’t it? Have a lovely time Grin

ccapplin1 · 02/07/2015 08:57

Thoughts are with you miss hope everything is okay! Will be thinking of you. Have you spoken to a doctor yet? Flowers

Tell your 'friend' to not be so ridiculous southy your age is irrelevant as to whether you can look after your baby. My mum had me at 40, my younger sister at 43 and my younger brother at 45. We all grew up to be happy, healthy (somewhat) well adjusted (okay somewhat on this too Grin) individuals.

nightandthelight · 02/07/2015 08:10

Thinking of you miss! Really hope all is ok.

How insensitive of your 'friend' southy, please don't feel down. You will get there :)

Last day in work for mw before holiday, I just want it to be 4 already!

MissMartin10 · 02/07/2015 08:02

aww southy i was in such a panic last night i didn't read back. . dont feel down lovley you'll get your bfp soon you went be left alone.. it's hard to stay positive when people make comments but your trying your best xx

Southy84 · 02/07/2015 07:58

Thank you merry hope you are doing ok. I feel bad for moaning now I've seen miss update, hope you're ok miss I've known people bleed too, not that that will make it less terrifying for you, I really hope everything's ok x

MissMartin10 · 02/07/2015 07:58

rhubarb it was quite alot of fresh red blood but there was no clots ect.. this is the second time its happened to me with alot of blood the other time it was spotting the midwife said that i have breakthrough bleeding from around the time that i would have had af as the placenta dosent fully take over until around 12 weeks so it can't always control the hormone that creates af.. and its stopped now completely! its just such a massive worry.. i have hardly slept all night Sad

RhubarbAndMustard · 02/07/2015 07:01

Oh MissMartin you poor thing. Try not to panic - easier said I know. Is the bleeding heavy? I bled with #1 around week 7 but all was fine, although the Drs said I just had to wait and see. Very stressful time. Hope all is well ????

MissMartin10 · 02/07/2015 00:25

im bleeding Sad. . nhs 111 told me to go to a out of hours doctors within 2 hours but i don't see the point in doing that as there will be nothing they can do tonight, ill just need to csll doctors tomorrow and hopefully get another scan to check.. arghh why is pg so stressful! Sad

DizzyMerry · 01/07/2015 23:48

Oh southy I know exactly how you feel. Been there when ttc DD and going through the same thing again. It's shit at times and nobody can be positive all the time. Don't listen to insensitive and ill advised nonsense. Some people just don't think before they speak. You will get there lovely, you absolutely will Flowers

Southy84 · 01/07/2015 23:26

Welcome rhubarb and emily

Fx lovely!

I feel a bit :( i feel like at this rate I'll be riding a bus solo into the sunset. Sorry to be on a downer, some may remember this convo from a previous bus but just had the baby convo with a friend (they don't know we're ttc) and they said AGAIN I better hurry up otherwise I'll be really old and won't be able to look after my kids. I can't tell you how positive ive been feelibg the last couple of weeks, now I'm in bed having a cry. I don't know why this has to be so hard and why people are so insensitive. Sorry to rant, don't have anyone to tell!

Good luck to those testing in the next few days, fx we get some BFPs :)

MissMartin10 · 01/07/2015 20:36

that was meant to say lovley not flip??

MissMartin10 · 01/07/2015 20:35

flip you have good patience! Grin Bravo!!
Hayley Ewww yeah best not Confused

Lovelyjubbly95 · 01/07/2015 20:11

Might actually hold out until Friday... Give my af a chance to show up and if not then thats a green light to test!

Mummyofonesofar · 01/07/2015 19:51

Our problem is the flies! Soo many flies coming inside. So bad that I've tried the thing on Facebook about hanging a nap up with water and coins in to deter them. Will see if it works Hmm

hayleycookie · 01/07/2015 19:44

Good luck Lovely! Will you be doing it first thing tomorrow or holding out?

Miss It's true you don't think about it until you're doing it. Probably best not to think too much of them doing it though

Agreed on the heat!! Ah man! 35 degrees here this afternoon and still 29 this evening! Thanking the gods I didn't buy a leather sofa!

MissMartin10 · 01/07/2015 19:37

hayley hehe. .i know you never think about what our parents went through to have us when you go through the journey yourself it really makes you apreciate everything! Smile
Oh my goodness this heat is horrendous.. all my body parts are sticking together Blush

oooo goodluck for the testing my fingers are crossed !!

Lovelyjubbly95 · 01/07/2015 19:11
