Sorry just realised my message didn't type fully stace don't give up hope, I had been trying for over two and a half years, previously tried for two years and had a mc, we'd just been referred for ivf due to unexplained infertility, it works out I was pregnant at my fertility appointment and now 6 weeks. I know it's so incredibly hard to stay positive but sometimes it takes a little longer for some than others. This month we stopped properly trting and just bd when we wanted to, and by the looks of things I OV earlier than I thought so the spontaneous bd worked. I have everything crossed for you x

nightandthelight · 25/09/2015 18:19

Welcome stace :) Are you having investigations etc for fertility? Appreciate it must be tough after so long but I have seen several ladies on MN conceive after a similar amount of time so don't give up :)

Southy84 · 25/09/2015 17:26

Not good news for me I'm afraid. Went for my scan and found there was no heartbeat. Baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. Going back on Friday to start the medical management for miscarriage.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/09/2015 11:10

Oh yes oops! Just Dizzy's today then! Smile

MsGlitterJunkie · 23/09/2015 10:42

Mummyofonesofar · 23/09/2015 07:45

Good luck today glitter

Glad booking went well dizzy

southy I hope the jab works for you and you don't catch chicken pox, try not to be stressed about it, will just have to see how it pans out lovely. Fingers crossed everything is ok. Can't wait for your scan Friday! Two sleeps!

Scan put me at 12+3 yesterday so new Edd 2/4 Smile two perfect babies.

DizzyMerry · 22/09/2015 21:59

Thanks glitter. I know what you mean as tomorrow seems like such an age away! Good luck with your scan.

Has anyone seen miss and wish around? Hope they're both doing ok.

MsGlitterJunkie · 22/09/2015 17:08

Sorry to hear about your ds carrot chicken pox is just miserable, poor little thing. V glad you've been given the shots you need, fx you don't catch it. Not even thought about buying maternity clothes in Cannes, great idea! Will definitely check out what shops they have.

Very glad your booking appointment went well dizzy that's another thing done and dusted. Try not to worry about the high risk status on your notes, they are just being extra cautious. Only one more sleep until your scan, good luck, will be thinking of you.

southy how are you feeling? Sorry to hear you've been feeling rough but that's early pregnancy for you! Not too long until your next scan either.

It's scans galore this week, I've got mine on Thursday, feels like a million years until then!!!!

DizzyMerry · 22/09/2015 16:01

It's great that your last pregnancy was straight forward carrot. Fx this one is too but at least they will be monitoring you closely this time. I tried to post on the antenatal thread earlier but my post kept disappearing for some reason. Your poor DS. I'm so pleased you got your booster shots so quickly and hopefully they'll do their job.

CarrotVan · 22/09/2015 13:15

glitter are there any nice French maternity shops where you're going? Might be an opportunity to get some lovely clothes. Somewhere like Envie de Fraises

Good luck tomorrow mummy

CarrotVan · 22/09/2015 13:12

Dizzy I'm high risk and shared care because my last birth was an EMCS and my Mum has had long term blood pressure issues. My last pregnancy was straightforward and I've never had blood pressure issues.

DS has chicken pox but as I had booking in last Thursday I was able to ring the midwives and get them to add an immunity test to my bloods. Turns out I'm not immune so I've had to have emergency immunoglobulin booster shots to help me not catch it. If I do catch it then it's antivirals and additional monitoring throughout pregnancy and then extra tests for the baby afterwards. I am quite stressed

DizzyMerry · 22/09/2015 10:57

Update from my booking in appointment yesterday. The midwife was so lovely and I'm so glad it's out of the way. It was form filling, bloods and urine. Scan on Wednesday and I'm so anxious about it. They booked me in straight after to see the consultant as DD was low birth weight so they want to keep a closer eye on me so she said they would offer me a few more scans after the 20 week one to check baby's growth. DD was and is absolutely fine so I'm not that worried but I noticed in my notes that they've put me down as high risk and midwife said I will be under Consultant led care.

DizzyMerry · 21/09/2015 13:48

Thanks southy and mummy. I'm 11+4 going by ov southy. I'm feeling a lot better now and just getting the occasional wave of nausea. Glad you're feeling better today. Not long now for your scan now. I will update after my appointment today.

Good luck with your scan tomorrow mummy. Can't wait to see a pic of the twins.

Mummyofonesofar · 21/09/2015 13:38

DizzyM I hope booking goes ok for you, glad DH could go along with you at short notice.

southy how are you doing? Only 4 sleeps til your next scan lovely!

Southy84 · 21/09/2015 12:49

Hi merry ive had a rocky few days but not feeling too bad today. I hope your appointment goes well today, I'm glad your dh is going with you too, I think I'd feel the same. Let me know how you get on won't you, how far along are you now? Hope you've been feeling ok x

DizzyMerry · 20/09/2015 12:15

Afternoon Smile hope everyone's having a good weekend. How are we all doing?

I have my booking in appointment tomorrow and I'm really nervous about it all. The plan was for me to attend this alone as I didn't see the point of DH taking time off work but I really can't face going alone! I know that sounds silly but I will feel tons better with DH there so he's now coming with me. Thankfully he's self employed so it didn't take much organising at the last minute.

Thank you merry I called the Dr this morning in a bit of a state and he s agreed to do another blood test, I feel bad but I just feel like a nervous wreck. I just need reassurance between now and next Friday. How exciting only a week to go :) that's gone quickly.

glitter the good thing is I was admitted to hospital on Saturday so we can claim our holiday money back through insurance, inevitably we've lost a small amount but nothing too bad.
