Sorry to hear about your long journey southy I'm sure you will get a referral. Has your DH had any tests too? Fx for you for next cycle! Enjoy a few drinks in the meantime!
Good idea with getting some Opk francois interesting that AF still has not shown up?! How many dpo would you be now?
How's everyone else? night and miss hope you are well and the pregnancy are going well.
I'm off for another scan at the epu today and am totally terrified! Really hope there is a baby in there! Couldn't see anything last time. I'm 7+4 today so should detect a HB by now! Praying I have a little sticky bean!

Southy at least you can have a few drinks at the weekend lovely. Sorry AF is painful hun, enjoy having DH back home. Not sure about time for fertility clinic – did the GP refer you? Maybe 3 weeks?

Southy84 · 09/07/2015 07:57

Thank you all so much, DH is home tonight. In need of a hug! AF is here and painful :( the only upside is I can drink Saturday and I won't be suffering with the pain by then either (must see the silver lining)

How long do you think I should wait before chasing up the fertility clinic?

Good idea with the OPKs francoise x

Rainy34 · 08/07/2015 20:39

Southy sorry to hear you are feeling down, you have done so well waiting so long, i am on my 13 cycle and waiting for my fertility appoinment and i thought i had waited along time, fingers crossed that bfp is just round the well deserved corner!!

Francoise hope you are ok after your fall, that is something that i would do is google it, I love going to psychic's, hopefully its true what he says, I went to one once and he told me i would buy an old fashioned american style fridge , well we bought an amercian style freezer, it wasn't old fashioned though!! he also said i would have two children so im hoping he can see something too ,

Mummyofonesofar · 08/07/2015 19:20

Hugs!

FrancoisLaPrune · 08/07/2015 10:51

Thank you all.

It does feel like I am in limbo. I have just bought some OPK's because if my cycle was as it should be I would be ovulating at some point this coming weekend.

Ah well, any excuse to keep DTD until I know what's going on!!!!

Mummyofonesofar · 08/07/2015 08:32

Francois sorry you’re still get BFNs. A few months ago I was really late but not pregnant – just put it down to stress in the end. If you have an anovulatory cycle then sometime AF doesn’t come at all so you may be onto a new cycle now so I would keep DTD! I think some pyschic’s must be telling the truth – yours couldn’t have guessed all that! I hope he is right about being pregnant soon. Brilliant that you googled “stairs stopped my period” – I would do that too Grin

Southy Try not to panic, I am sure your consultant will have a plan for you when you see them. Surely if you ov late and often not at all then they will prescribe clomid. Just fx for getting you to your appointment, sorry we set you off! You’re so lovely and I hope with all my heart you get your BFP very soon, we are here to support you on that journey. Every month is a month closer to your BFP Flowers

DizzyMerry · 08/07/2015 00:40

Lol at 'stairs stopping my period'. It's the kind of thing I would Google too Hmm On a serious note though francois I hope you're out of limbo soon and fx it is a bfp. Glad to hear you weren't too badly hurt by your fall.

southy (((((hugs))))) it's the shittest thing ever to have to go through month after month of devastation. I know exactly how you're feeling as I've been there when we were ttc DD. It happened for us though and it will happen for you. As soul destroying as it is, it will all be worth it in the end when you get your much longed for baby. You're getting closer now and once that appointment comes through and the ball starts rolling each step you make will be in the direction towards your bfp. You will get through this Flowers

Lovely hope the time passes quickly for you and hope you can try to relax a bit.

Southy84 · 07/07/2015 18:29

Dh SA came back fine mummy and my blood tests were ok, I just seem to OV quite late. We've done these tests before a few years ago and at that point everything was fine too. I had a mc in 2009 (typically we weren't even trying) but found out at 12 week scan that the baby had stopped growing, which was devastating. We then tried over a year after that, then we saw the fertility consultant in 2011 he said everything was ok and prescribed clomid, at that point we decided to wait, get married and buy a house. I've been reading the guidelines now though and since 2013 they don't seem to prescribe clomid to people with no known fertility problems, (well that's how I read it) so I don't think this time round I will get offered this. Just panicking.

Thank you all for your kind words you've set me off again.

I try to be fairly healthy lovely but maybe I need to make more of a concentrated effort x

That's so frustrating about AF francoise but hopefully it's a good sign, I do believe there are some genuine psychics, I've heard so many stories from people that can't possibly be lucky guesses.

FrancoisLaPrune · 07/07/2015 13:37

Southy sorry to hear you are feeling so down, don't rule yourself out thought. AF now just means one day closer to your next cycle and one step closer to getting your longed for BFP. It will happen for you xx

I still have no sign of AF. It is now 11 days late. I went to see a psychic last night, the first thing he said to me was "you're pregnant" he said that as soon as I walked in the door he got the overwhelming sense that I am pregnant. That was before I even sat down and had opened my mouth. He said that if I wasn't pregnant right now than I would be very very soon. I am generally very pessimistic about the whole pyschic thing but he also told me about my stillborn son, he told me things that even my DH doesn't know so he kind of blew my mind a little. Only time will tell!

Something else I have been thinking may be the cause of my absent witch - I fell down my stairs a couple of weeks ago, nothing broken but I was quite battered and bruised so am wondering whether the shock has affected me in some way and delayed AF. Clutching at straws really, google had no answer for "stairs stopping my period" Grin

Lovelyjubbly95 · 07/07/2015 11:39

Oh southy i feel for you. I was trying with my dp for 15mths and it took a yr before drs decided they wld send me for every possible test under the sun to see if anything was amiss. I had bloods checkes thyroids had a scan done everything came bk fine. Was so frustrating. Ive since changed my diet so im eating healthier and Exercising more. I cut out soya as well as apparently this is like taking the pill!

everythingcrossed2015 · 07/07/2015 10:02

I hope so Mummyofone :) Thank you x

Mummyofonesofar · 07/07/2015 08:52

Southy I admire that you have had this long journey and really stuck it out and tried as hard as you could but I think you have done the right thing getting the ball rolling. Has your GP done the SA and your bloods? You have had this really hard journey so far and it is bound to be taking its toll – it is time to try not to panic and to let the professionals take over with some other options. On bumsnet bus there is a lady called sammylou1 who is just starting ivf, it may help you to chat with her or to also get some support on some threads where those are starting their investigations too – of course stay here though! You will get your baby – it is waiting for you lovely and once you have that baby in your arms if someone asks you if the waiting and heartache was worth it you will know 100% that it was. Big hugs Flowers Xxx

Southy84 · 07/07/2015 08:33

It's got to be AF (tmi) but toilet water was bright red when I went to the toilet. It's def started. I can't stop crying, don't think I'm going to make it to work at this rate, never felt so down as I do right now. Sadly it is cycle 27, waiting for my fertility app to come through, been waiting nearly a month already. Think I've been in denial that we'd get pg and didn't want to have to go down that route. At least the ball is rolling now, just feel so rubbish as AF although irregular has never been this early and never had spotting before (had spotting last month) feels like everything's going to pot.

Mummyofonesofar · 07/07/2015 08:16

southy ov on CD16 puts you at 8DPO today - too early spotting but some people do have it. Just having a look at the stats - are you really on cycle 27? What tests have you had, what is the plan for getting your baby?

Southy84 · 07/07/2015 08:01

It's 7dpo based on earlier prediction :( it makes no sense.

Lovelyjubbly95 · 07/07/2015 07:38

Hi ladies sorry i disappeared for a bit still getting our heads round the fact we r expecting again
Quite nervous to say the least due to last mc. Aching to get past 6wks bit time seems to be going by so slowly!! :(

Mummyofonesofar · 07/07/2015 06:54

Oops - prediction

Mummyofonesofar · 07/07/2015 06:53

Sorry southy! That is very early for spotting, is that your later or earlier ov oredoction?

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 23:37

oh no southy sorry for af Sad.. yep least you can have your drink now and not feel bad Smile x

Southy84 · 06/07/2015 22:55

I think I'm out mummy 7 dpo and started spotting, gutted. At least I can drink sat tho!

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 22:49

oh difficult situation wishHmm . can you not drive there and use that as an excuse.. or just say your feeling sick?

wish1406 · 06/07/2015 22:40

Uh oh, going to the tennis tomorrow and my SIL just text me to say she's got us a lovely bottle of bubbly chilling in the fridge for us... Hmmm... Let's see how this pans out! Any ideas?! Eek!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/07/2015 20:15

southy I panicked at my gps about having 2 glasses of wine in the tww once and she said a bottle wouldn't have made a difference - lots of drunks have babies and they have no trouble getting pregnant on purpose or by accident. A few drinks at a wedding won't do any damage.

everything I would start temping as soon as you can do you get the hand of it before your next cycle comes (obviously you will have your bfp by then so won't need to perfect it)

RhubarbAndMustard · 06/07/2015 20:05

Thank you for all your congratulations. Its still sinking in. Am hoping the good luck continues for everyone on this bus.

Congrats on the new house Emily
