Just keep trying southy. After the first appointment things should start moving quickly and hopefully you won't be waiting too long between appointments. Fx you get your bfp before all that though.

Enjoy your holidays mummy.

Southy84 · 24/07/2015 10:56

Morning mummy Smile you too x

Southy84 · 24/07/2015 10:54

I'd want to do the same merry but at least if you choose to go take that route you know the waiting time isn't long which is really good. I may have phoned the clinic again this morning... Now the earliest app is jan!! Lucky I got referred when I did, worried about next steps though if waiting times are like this I could be in for a long wait for further investigations.

Mummyofonesofar · 24/07/2015 10:01

Morning everyone!! Have a great day Smile

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 22:28

There are no waiting lists with the clinic we've already been to southy. We can get things moving when we decide it's the route we want to take but I'm just undecided as I think a fertility MOT is the way to go to rule out blocked tubes or other issues. Have fun Wink

Southy84 · 23/07/2015 22:04

I was really pleased merry I said I didn't want to sound obsessed and she said no not at all- we'd rather book up any cancellations so feel free to phone as often as you like! Apparently they get cancellations over the summer holidays so will probably try every other day. Fx for your app Monday, did your consultant say what the waiting list is like for ivf if you choose to take that route? Totally get the bored ttc feeling! Talking about ttc ... Look at the time Wink

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 20:58

That's such a good response you got there southy. I would definitely phone daily or every other day and hopefully they will have had a cancellation.

I have a telephone consultation with my GP on Monday following my private consultation. I have a feeling we won't be referred for NHS help as the consultant didn't think my endo and low progesterone is a problem so recommended IVF which won't be available to us on the NHS. This doesn't bother me but we really need to think ahead now as we're on cycle 15 now and I'm bored with ttc.

Southy84 · 23/07/2015 20:51

Hi glitter :) I phkned the clinic today and no cancellations but they said they're happy for me to phone daily if I want to!

Glad your scan went well miss :)
I totally agree auf love baby surprises, it's such a lovely thought to go through the pain of labour and get a surprise at the end!

nightandthelight · 23/07/2015 15:10

I lean towards the not knowing but DH is adamant and I actually think it's a good idea as he is convinced it's a girl and if it's a boy I want him to have some time to get used to that. He doesn't have a preference but has planned everything in his head for a girl and I don't want him thinking like that for 9 months if it's a boy!

DizzyMerry · 23/07/2015 14:48

Auf we didn't find out with DD and if I do get pregnant again we won't be finding out with dc2. I don't usually like surprises but I just didn't want to know the sex and it was fun guessing.

MissMartin10 · 23/07/2015 14:34

i think its still a surprise no matter when you find out at birth or at a scan.. my step-dad doesn't want to know though. .he wants a surprise when he comes to visit me after at the hospital Hmm

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 14:24

Auf I would need to know - I can't stand suprises!! Actualy supprises where you aren't expecting anything are fine because I don't have time to worry about them - but if I know something is coming I HAVE to know!

MissMartin10 · 23/07/2015 13:58

i can't Auf haha i NEED to know I've bought a few things neutrals and bright colours but to me most still look girly or boyish Hmm

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 23/07/2015 13:53

Congrats on everything bumpish and scannish miss and night
No-ooo-oo, don't do it! Yellow babies rock! You get to buy all the best and funnest clothes that you just like because you like them, rather than be led by gender stereotypes. ^flies flag for surprise-sex babies*

MissMartin10 · 23/07/2015 13:49

your so patient Grin i can't even wait the 2.5weeks let alone 6 more weeks haha well at first i thought boy... then after first scan i thought girl.. now i think boy after this scan.. i posted the pic on the jan antenatal thread and everyone said boy! not one vote for girl hehe

nightandthelight · 23/07/2015 10:31

No we are going to wait for the 20 week scan :) if they can't tell then we might consider a private scan. Do you have an idea of which it is?

MissMartin10 · 23/07/2015 09:28

ooooh mummy that sounds like a good sign Grin fx!!!
night yeah its booked for the 11th Aug when ill be 16w4s. . only £50.. are you going to have one?

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 09:14

Biffle · 23/07/2015 08:56

Hi! I've just started the 2ww for baby #4. With all other pgs it was just have sex and see what happens but this time we have actively tried around ovulation so now nervously waiting and symptom spotting.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 08:48

Sorry for BFN Ral but….you’re still in!

Miss so pleased your scan went well! I am sure the downs test will be fine what will you being so young!

Today I have fluorescent wee, a huge temp rise of 2.5c. and a wave of nausea for a couple of seconds in the car. 7DPO symptom spotting Grin

nightandthelight · 23/07/2015 08:42

Yay for the scan miss :) Are you having a private gender scan?

I am 12w today and woke up with a little bump!

No AF means you are still in ral!

MissMartin10 · 23/07/2015 08:31

raluca - your not out until she arrives.. you still have hope x

My scan went great thanks. . i was dated at 13w5d.. baby is growing well and has a good strong heartbeat Smile i had the combined test done for the downs screening so nervously awaiting the results.. nt was 1.8 so well within guidelines of 3? and with being 22 hopefully i should be low risk.
