Fx PallasCat and welcome mummybex it's never too late!

MummyBex1985 · 19/07/2015 19:52

Oh and I'm 30 :) ten years since DD1.

MummyBex1985 · 19/07/2015 19:51

Hi everyone - Hope you don't mind me joining! Bit late to the party I know Wink

We are currently TTC #2, currently cycle #1, CD10 so pretty new to all this!

Had implanon removed recently so will probably spend the next few months waiting for AF to hit a regular cycle.

PallasCat · 19/07/2015 19:00

FX for you magpie!

magpiedreams · 19/07/2015 18:32

Oh no, sorry to catch up with miserable news crunchy pallas whywait and sunshine - I hope your GP is helpful.
I'm away until tomorrow so no sticks to pee on until then. CD24 today, last cycle was 27 days and I think I'm 12dpo now. I have really sensitive nipples and a bit of heartburn....so maybe...?! Will POAS with FMU Tuesday.

CarrotVan · 19/07/2015 17:00

I had periods like that as a teen, went on the pill for years and they've been much better since. I stopped taking the pill after about 13 years

whywait hope you're ok? I've never been diagnosed with it but used to have terribly painful periods as a teenager often causing me to faint at school. Doctor put me on the contraceptive pill to help with it which I was on for ten years before coming off in January this year.

I mentioned the endometriosis to my GP when we started trying and was told not to worry and that I probably wouldn't have it. Since coming off this pill this is my second bad AF but the rest have been fine.

First month this time though that I used OPK so not sure if I always have a short LP or if this was a one off.

No pain meds just told to take ibuprofen and paracetamol together.

Sorry crunchy and sunshine... tough times on the bus...

AF hit me too yesterday - early and hard. Yowch. Not surprised as I'd not had any symptoms, so I was pretty prepared for it - suffering with pain rather than upset!

This is now my second 25 day cycle in a row, then. The one before was at least 30 (can't be bothered to work it out now, though I have got a record somewhere...). Wondering if I'm now settling into a regular pattern finally after coming off the pill in November, though I guess two in a row is not enough for a pattern. I'd been estimating based on 29 days, which was my cycle before I ever went on the pill, and up until these two my post-pill cycles have been 28+. Guess we'll just see, hey?

Anyway, with these last two short cycles, and if I work on the basis of another 25-dayer for my new cycle, means AF will be due on the first day of our honeymoon. Crap. Hmm

Off to board the hybrid bus, but I'll keep checking in here too.

FX for all still to test. xx

Sunshinegirl2015 · 19/07/2015 12:22

Thanks everyone. Having a slow PJ day today until I have work at 5pm. Cramping is now at the normal AF level and not the horrible level it was at last night.

Sorry AF arrived for you crunchy it must be horrible being late and then she arrives. X

pulpi · 19/07/2015 11:59

Ugh. Sorry to hear about AF, crunchy. Sending you Cake and Wine

Oh my goodness sunshine sorry you've had such a horrible night. Please take care of yourself today xx

Sunshinegirl2015 · 19/07/2015 11:08

Oh what a night for me. Had AF so bad that was dry heaving and DH found me on the bathroom floor I almost fainted.

Was so bad we called 111 and they told us to go A&E. Had urine and blood tests and all came back fine and the response was some months will be more painful than others!!! I could barely walk?! I'm sure that is not normal.

Also mentioned that I started spotting at 10DPO and full flow at 11DPO so surely this is too short a lutheal phase and was told not to worry.

Going to book a GP appointment but feel disheartened. In to month six now which I know isn't that long trying but nights like last night don't make me optimistic.

My mum had endometriosis and apparently tried almost twelve years for me. She died when I was younger from breast cancer so she's not around to talk to about these things.

Fx for next month. Looks like I'm boarding the August bus!

CarrotVan · 19/07/2015 09:31

Sorry so many people are having confusing times

OP posts:
Sunshinegirl2015 · 19/07/2015 01:13

I'm out. Wasn't due AF until Tuesday 21st but she's early and has arrived at only 11dpo. Not sure if it's normal for me to have such a short lutheal phase as this was first month using opk's.

And as if to punish me she is extra painful. Can't sleep because of it. It's not normally this bad.

Been an odd month as started spotting at 10dpo which I've never had and had mild pms type cramp for first 6dpo which I've also never had.

louwn · 18/07/2015 20:22

Congratulations Suz! By OPKs I am 8 or 9 dpo. Think will wait another week or so to test - though am sure AF will have arrived by then...I am massively convinced this is not our month.

Nucky I once had a 64 day long cycle. It all went back to normal after that though. I had a BFP a couple of months later so it definitely wasn't the menopause! I think sometimes our bodies just so funny things.

pulpi · 18/07/2015 09:24

Hey Nucky, my schedule was all thrown off in January and six months later it's finally righted itself. A combination of sick folks around me, stress, and everything else made for an incredibly long cycle and be being convinced I was pregnant. Is there anything stressful, etc. happening?

marmitemofo · 17/07/2015 23:19

congrats suz Grin

MyNameIsSuz · 17/07/2015 21:41

35 would be a very early menopause! Carrot could be right. Have you been keeping track of where you'd be in your cycle so you know if you miss the next one? I was planning to wait and see if my next one showed up and make a doctor's appointment if not. Hopefully it's just a one off and your cycle will right itself!
