That's good to know princes! I will definitely keep testing, fingers crossed!

PallasCat · 23/06/2015 19:11

AF and BFN today, so I'm officially on the July bus. So hello!

31yo, ttc #1, cycle 2, cd 1, possible test date 22nd July.

3Princes99 · 23/06/2015 19:08

Hi Jellybean. I normally have ewcm 2-3 days before a positive opk so keep testing! Good luck to you for the July bus. I never had a AF after coming off the pill with my second child, got caught straight away :)

Itsme247 · 23/06/2015 18:34

Hi Birchy - we are booked in for GP on Thursday this week which will be CD4 for me. What kind of tests can they do at the GP? I can tell my DH is really nervous about his SA but I don't know if he's more nervous about the results being bad or actually the process of providing the sample... Lol, bless him!

AF is really kicking my arse this month too :(

Jellybean100 · 23/06/2015 17:53

Hi all, want to join although not a clue if I will be for July bus or not as don't know if I'll even ovulate!

25yo, ttc #1, cycle 1, cd number 13.

Not sure if I can call it CDs tho as I haven't had AF since coming off pill it's just 13 days since coming off pill. Should probably wait until AF before joining any kind of bus! Lurked on the June bus tho so keen to join! Hope that's ok.

Had EWCM for first time today, negative OPK. Wondering if other people have had EWCM and positive straight away or they have EWCM for few days before having positive? Will dtd tonight regardless!

llammallamamissesmama · 23/06/2015 17:40

YY to solution instead of a sympathetic uh-hu. It's a very masculine thing. Sometimes you just need someone to say "yeah I know what you mean". I often preempt conversations by telling DH to not offer a solution. He finds it hard but he's learning!

Emilygremily · 23/06/2015 16:08

Princes i know what you mean i never noticed half of the stuff my body did but now i pick up on everything. My EDT should be 19th July if my cycle matches last months Fx :)

3Princes99 · 23/06/2015 14:27

I love this bus, all so helpful and supportive. Nice to be able to talk to people that understand everything each other's going through :) totally agree Ilamma and Marmite, every little twinge I'm think oh what's that when before TTC you wouldn't even notice anything haha

marmitemofo · 23/06/2015 14:13

llama I know what you mean, symptom spotting is so tempting.. my DP told me I need to try not to over analyse thing, I was like hmm easy for you to say, it's not your body! he didn't mean it in a bad way, just doing that cliche man thing of trying to solve problems when all I wanted was someone to listen to me moan.

CD22 today and my temp rose a bit yesterday and more today so think I probably ovulated on Sunday or yesterday, which means I'm in the tww... ugh. I think my LP is 10 days based on my last two cycles (when I wasn't temping, just CM watching), so EDT should be 2nd July ish. I may try to hold out until next Friday but expect I will cave and test early even though v unlikely anything would show up...

FlatWhiteToGo · 23/06/2015 13:15

Birchy it seems we've taken the cycle buddies thing a bit too far then. I'm CD12 today. Usually I get highs on CD11 & CD12, then peaks on CD13 & CD14. So far I've had nothing Hmm. I'm worried it's going to be like my early April cycle where I only got a peak on CD22 (and presumably ovulated a day or two later) of a 28 day cycle. Urghhh.

As for tests - I use the cheapo 'One Step' ones and will only use a more expensive one if I'm actually late. In the early days I used FRERs over the days running up to AF. They were always negative and ended up costing me a fortune (on top of OPKs)!

llammallamamissesmama · 23/06/2015 12:58

Thanks Carrot Smile

CarrotVan · 23/06/2015 12:53

One Step bulk buy cheapies from Amazon/ eBay

Superdrug own brand (sometimes on offer)

Oh and another thing...

Best poas tests? What type, where from, how much etc.

Thanks

llammallamamissesmama · 23/06/2015 12:36

I'm a couple days past ovulation I think. I'm not doing any charting. I'm trying unsuccessfully to play it cool.

I'm crampy. That means nothing, right? I think when you're TTC you are so acutely aware of your body and any niggle has you wondering.

How's everyone else doing?

birchygoo · 23/06/2015 10:54

Welcome Madame emily sizzle Putney

sizzle how is dh doing?

Itsme have you been to GP yet? Have you got that planned for this week? Have a fun holiday ! Have you seen the reports sunshine increases fertility - fx

princes its good to feel empowered with choices but I hope that you have fallen long before then - sending hugs

snowflake fx for this month

SOUTHY i have been wondering where you have gone - Im so glad you have come back. How have you been

I'm jealous of all the house extensions - it wont be long until we all have our little ones running around.

Update from me - Ovu seems delayed this month - was due today or tomorrow. Only got my first high on cbfm today though and I normally get them for about 4 days before my peak. So my test date has probably been pushed back.

I now have all my test results back from GP, however dh sa is still not back after 1 week!! What is up with that!

pingoose · 23/06/2015 10:08

I'm also on CD8 3princes, but still have some spotting from an especially long AF, so will hopefully start DTD every other day from tomorrow. I ordered some OPKs but they haven't arrived yet so I'm just temping for the time being!

3Princes99 · 23/06/2015 10:00

Very quiet today, how is everyone?
I'm cd8 and starting to get ewcm so I'm thinking I might ovulate early this month (usually cd14) will start opking tomorrow. Where are you all in this months cycle?

Putneymummy1 · 22/06/2015 21:03

Hello all. 39 and Ttc # 2. Have a 9mo DS. Am on a few other threads but no actual buses I don't think! I'll sit at the back on the top please! Af due 5 July. X

MyNameIsSuz · 22/06/2015 20:39

I get it too itsme. We're building a four bed house, currently in our little two bed flat. All the plans I've got in my head (bedrooms, garden access, pram storage etc) I'm factoring in a small person who doesn't exist yet.

FlatWhiteToGo · 22/06/2015 19:05

I know what you mean Itsme. We scrimped and saved a few years ago to get a 4-bed on the basis that we'd be starting a family shortly after buying the house Hmm. We're now looking to relocate and I'm tempted to buy a 1-bed so that we tempt fate!

Itsme247 · 22/06/2015 18:29

Ooh the extension does sound ideal! We're moving into a 4 bed (fx that all goes through) but I kind of feel like even that is jinxing the whole baby making thing - I'll have all these rooms with no babies to fill them!! :(

Sizzle81 · 22/06/2015 17:41

Extension sounds lovely CarrotVan!

Emilygremily · 22/06/2015 17:21

Hi, i have been driving my DH insane with my talking about babies etc.
He is more interested in our new house (moving in 2 weeks) and holiday's this year Ha Ha, if only he knew what went through my mind on a daily basis :D

Sizzle81 · 22/06/2015 17:18

Thank you PallasCat xx

CarrotVan · 22/06/2015 17:07

Hi Emily and sizzle and welcome back southy

We're having a double height side extension itsme and it's taking forever but the new kitchen, new bathroom, utility room and fourth bedroom will be worth it.
