Hi ladies! I am 33 and have been trying to get preggars 6months now :( feels like forever. my partner has two children from prev relationship (marriage) and his ex fell pregnant straight away apparently, my younger sister-by 6 yrs is pregnant with her 2nd which happened 2 months into her relationship ! I have been really positive this month but my period is due wed and now i have brown spotting-meaning am out again. I guess i am just on a downer now... this sucks. I have a regular 28 day cycle and ovulate day 13 (opk) and have sex at least every other day! eating more healthily and tried fertilcm to help. I have worked with children for years and so long for my own. I am addicted to these threads and love how everyone is so supportive of one another! Fairy dust to us all!x

Its just a bit of brown when I wipe....no actual bleeding...I'm temping, so the app has said I'm in the window (2 days left of window)....can you get implementation bleeding this early?

Babycakes100 · 27/07/2015 17:49

Nooooo Mermaid don't give up! It could be anything. What was the spotting like? Are you temping or testing to know whether you have ovulated? As in, could it have been earlier than expected and this might be implantation?

Mermaid36 · 27/07/2015 17:40

Oh yes Pallas and Babycakes we def didn't DTD this often! Twice a week was about normal with work and all...

Well I started spotting today, so am confused. App says fertile window though. Think I'm still in a weird hormonal blip due to finishing the pill. Not sure whether to DTD tonight or just give up for the month...

Babycakes100 · 27/07/2015 17:24

So sorry to hear you're feeling down Pallas. Yes EOD is plenty...don't be too hard on yourself. You are doing everything you can but ultimately it is down to nature/pot luck it seems!! I really hope it happens for you soon x

It doesn't help when DTD is a chore though does it! I can't help but think that if we were DTD because we actually wanted to (imagine!), it would be easier. Before we started TTC we went through a stage of not DTD very often at all because of work stresses etc so EOD seems so excessive!

PallasCat · 27/07/2015 14:02

FX Cinder and you too Babycakes!

Been feeling a bit down too TBH... for no good reason. DTD sat, not yesterday, and will today. Had a lot of anxiety last night about the fact that we hadn't DTD...even though EoD is sensible... just silly stuff like that. It's getting to me more this cycle than before.

Will get maybe a couple of FRERs and some ICs I think.

Babycakes100 · 27/07/2015 13:40

FX Cinder. Try and hold off as long as you can then keep testing! I've read that it can sometimes take longer than you think to get a positive test.

Good luck Pallas! Hope this is the month for you and that you have a lovely honeymoon! You getting cheapie HPTs or going to invest in some sensitive ones?

I am going to do a first response tomorrow morning after my two weird pink spots on Saturday and excess CM since. I am almost 100% it will be negative though and that something is off with my cycles. I think I'm going to have to go to the GP over the next few weeks. I just didn't expect to have fertility issues at the age of 23 :( I know that stuff like pcos affects people from a young age and I don't know for certain that I have it...I just feel down about it.

How's everyone else feeling?

CinderToffee · 27/07/2015 13:23

Still no AF! I had a few cramps on Saturday, but they have disappeared and now I'm pretty symptomless. No sign of bleeding at all, buts lots and lots of creamy CM. I'd think this was a promising sign if I hadn't already had 3 negative tests!

PallasCat · 27/07/2015 11:11

Welcome sunshine - sorry to hear you've been feeling low, I think we all have dips gong through this, and with your friend's news of course it would hit you hard. Glad you're on the up, and we're here when you need us.

Still keeping FX for you Cinder.

How's everyone else?

CD10 so just heading into fertile window. Having previously said I thought I ov around CD10, I don't think I have yet (this is based on nothing scientific, just that I usually feel it...or think I do). Sleepily informed DH that we had to DTD tonight when he left for work this morning. FX!

Going to stock up on tests this month which I haven't before mainly because I think I need to prepare myself in case of a BFN while we're away on honeymoon. AF would be very unwelcome, especially as a surprise visitor.

Gaaaaaaahhhhh I must stop myself getting over-invested in this cycle before it even properly begins! Hmm

Mermaid36 · 26/07/2015 19:15

Evening all! Middle of our fertile window currently....fun!

It finishes on Tuesday and I'm not sure if I can wait nearly 2 weeks to test!!

CinderToffee · 26/07/2015 19:08

DH definitely thinks we are out, and that I should stop hoping. He's a lot more rational than me!

CinderToffee · 26/07/2015 19:06

Ooh exciting Babycakes! FX for you.

Glad to hear you are feeling better today Sunshine. Hopefully this month will be the month for you, but if not, lots of people do seem to get pregnant on holiday so maybe that will do the trick!

Still no AF for me. I had a cheapo Sainsburys test lying about so I did it this afternoon, but still a definite BFN. I'm not really late though: my cycle tends to vary between 28 and 31 days, and today is only day 29. I guess if she hasn't shown up by Tuesday I'll get some more tests and see how it goes, but I think she will!

neetie1 · 26/07/2015 17:01

Afternoon ... am halfway through tww now, had terrible cramps yesterday and af not due for another week but today they seem ok. No other symptoms though so will wait and see what happens next weekend.

sunshinegirl12 · 26/07/2015 15:51

Thanks for your kind replies, I'm ok again today, I'm usually such a calm and rational person but since ttc I just get these moments where I feel so overwhelmed and scared it'll never happen. I'm on cd14 so have had a busy wkendBlush but we are off on hols in 6 weeks so if no luck this month I'm hoping it'll happen then.

Babycakes, that all sounds very positive, from previous obsessive googling about implantation bleeds it does sound as though it could be so fingers crossed x

Sizzle81 · 26/07/2015 15:04

Sorry to hear you were feeling so down last night Sunshine. Are you feeling any better/more positive today?
Not sure about implantation bleed either Babycakes but the CM sounds positive. Not actually sure what happens after you become pregnant - continues or stops a together ??
I'm only cd 5 so am trying to keep my mind off it (haha no chance! Especially as I am crocheting my friend a baby blanket and wishing it were mine!!)
xx

Babycakes100 · 26/07/2015 14:31

Welcome sunshine - sorry to hear you're feeling so low! We are all here to support each other on this crazy TTC journey. Make sure you remain calm and take plenty of time to relax as getting stressed will only make it more difficult and frustrating. Perhaps go on a few nice date nights with DH? Do something fun? Try to stay positive! What CD are you now? x

How is everyone else today?

My update: I have no idea what implantation bleeding is supposed to look like but yesterday when I wiped I had two tiny pink dots. Then for the rest of the day and still this morning I am getting LOADS of EWCM. I don't think I've ever had this much in my life. No sore boobs but had a sore throat all week which has now cleared up. I don't think I'll test til next week though (we'll see...)

sunshinegirl12 · 26/07/2015 00:22

Im new to this board but have been watching it... Feeling so sad tonight and dont know who else to speak to. So me and DH have been ttc since the start of the year ( im 30 and husband 29). Met up with one of my closet friends today who told me shes suffering a miscarriage at 11 weeks although it was a total shock to them, really really sad for her, it was unplanned and shes 5 years younger after a 1 night accident with her DP, but feeling so sad about the whole situation. Now from my own selfish way,,, I've not told anone we're ttc, I just feel awful awful about the whole situation, like i'm going crazy!! I feel so negative about it like I cant even conceive I can't stop thinking about it all xxx

Sizzle81 · 25/07/2015 09:02

You're not out till AF Cinder. Fx for you x

Babycakes100 · 25/07/2015 08:45

Really sorry to hear that Cinder xxx

CinderToffee · 25/07/2015 08:01

BFN this morning - not even a ghost of a line. So I'm definitely out this month. In a way, it's a relief to know for sure!

PallasCat · 24/07/2015 22:43

Thanks babycakes Smile
Last two have been 25 days, which is way shorter than I'm used to. before the pill I always used to be 29 days, then since coming off the pill they've been irregular, but mostly long, at least 28+, so don't know what's going on with these 25s!
Plus I actually seem to be not quite over AF, which for me on cd7 is weird - never usually anything after cd5.
Sounds like we're both being treated to some mysterious goings on from our bodies, eh?! FX for you too x

Babycakes100 · 24/07/2015 21:54

Good luck and best wishes LL2015! xx

Londonlady2015 · 24/07/2015 21:44

Hi cinder thanks for asking I'm ok. Got some abdominal and pelvic discomfort but hopefully nothing to worry about. Got gp appointment for Monday.

Your PMS feelings could well be other things - mine were class period symptoms before I took my test. Either way keeping FX

Good luck with this weekend pallas

Babycakes100 · 24/07/2015 21:07

I'm on CD 36 but I have no idea how long my cycles are. I don't have sore boobs and last cycle I had realllly sore boobs followed by AF which is how I know I must have ovulated. So that makes me think maybe I haven't.

Yesssss I really hope this is the month for you! Just stay as relaxed as possible (easier said than done I know). How long are your cycles?

PallasCat · 24/07/2015 18:13

What day in your cycle are you babycakes?

I've also been under the weather, though lucky in a way I guess that it timed itself with AF! Felt absolutely crap with both together but at least we weren't TTC!

I'm CD7 and AF has gone so now back to TTC this weekend. Really really hoping this month... our 3rd cycle, but both 1&2 were complicated by health problems (mine then his) so I don't think we were really in with a shot.

Babycakes100 · 24/07/2015 17:36

Oh Cinder! It's kinda good to think the worst I suppose as you may be pleasantly surprised. FX.

I'm having a weird week. I did have positive OPKs on cheapies but I don't think I trust them tbh. I've continued to test after my positives but had to use a more expensive brand again as the cheapies ran out...haven't had a positive since so I'm realllly hoping they were real positives on the cheapies. Had a sore throat all week, felt reallly tired and been getting really bad headaches. I have loads of really wet CM too...like today my knickers were practically soaked (so sorry wayyy TMI). I have no idea what is going on with my body. I feel that should be a sign of ovulation but I have had EWCM earlier in my cycle. I also tested yesterday night and BFN. Open to opinions!

How about everyone else?
