Yup like Alpha, we're keeping it to ourselves. I don't see a reason to tell people. Not that I'm keeping it a secret - if conversation turned to TTC around family/close friends I wouldn't lie and say we weren't (probably mostly because I have a real thing about jinxing things!).

Monkey I haven't told anyone yet either as I think it would make me feel under pressure. I will probably tell my mam next time i get some time alone with her (we don't live close). My closest friends will realise pretty soon as I have been avoiding alcohol

Hi all, hope it's ok to join in still!
DH and I are both 28 and TTC for the first time. On CD11 and according to my app it's the start of my fertile week (although DH is feeling under the weather ).
This is my first cycle TTC so feeling quite excited/nervous! Not told any of my friends as didn't want the pressure (would also be the first of my friends!). so far only my brother knows but DH is desperate to tell others but I'm not sure I want everyone knowing yet!

Welcome Garthy! Well if you can conceive while on the pill it sounds like you have excellent fertility! Very sorry to hear it was mc though. Definitely a good plan trying to stay chilled about TTC for now.

CD17 here so heading into 2ww (this is based on not very regular cycles, tho). Had a pretty busy fertile week - DTD at least EOD. Was working on the basis that I would OV on CD10, as I did in last two cycles, and think I had cramping then, but then again on CD14, which would be more in line with how my cycles used to be.

I guess this means if AF doesn't appear after CD25 I'll have to give it another few days before I can start wondering if I'm late!

Anyway, I've decided to do a FRER on Friday morning as we have a big weekend coming up.

I'm in my fertile week but having a hard time convincing OH that we should be dtd!
How are you Delphinium? Has temping become any clearer? I've just started with temps.

Hi everyone, is it still ok to join? I'm 27 and came off the pill (regivadon) two months ago so this is our third month (cycle?) of ttc.

I have PCOS but had a mc in October last year, having conceived while on the pill - figure that out!!! - but I have been to my GP and told him we are ttc and he has ordered blood tests to be done on days 1 and 21 to check that I am ovulating. If I am, then DP has to do a sperm test and if I'm not then we go further down that road I guess... he did say, though, that it looks as though I don't have primary infertility considering the mc last year.

We had sex Saturday morning and Friday evening and I had EWCM on Friday, which is good right? That would have been day 15 of this months cycle, but I don't really know what that means... I'm tryng hard not to think too much about it for the first few months because I know that the longer it takes to get pregnant the more stressed out about it I will be and I want to avoid that!

I'm out of the running this month as oh was away during ovulation. Keeping my Fx for everyone else on here xx

There is a thread on here somewhere about chemo and TTC. I wish you luck in your journey. Take care of yourself. Hopefully see you on here soon when you're feeling better

Your time for TTC and a BFP will come Anon but for now stay strong and concentrate on your health.

I may not me the most active participant for a while, but I'll still be with you.

I have surgery on Wednesday to remove cancerous part of tumor, after which time they will be able to identify if chemo is needed for other 'abnormalities' found in lymph nodes and lungs.

One I have my head around that I think I will create my thread. Its good to keep the long term goal of TTC in mind, but on the other hand there is so much to take in, we don't have all the answers yet and I need to take one step at a time.

Hi Ladies. I have colon cancer, so TTC is on the shelf for now. I might start a new thread to see if anyone else was TTC and now facing chemo, but I hope there isn't! Don't want to be a downer on this thread - it should be a positive place! I expect I will still follow this thread for a while, its been fun and will remind me of were I'm aiming to be down the track.

Iris sorry I wasn't clear - honeymoon is not for a couple of weeks - it'll be the next AF that hopefully won't arrive (FX, touch wood etc) while we're away. That's if my cycle length stays the same as the last two though, which is anyone's guess.

I've been pretty self controlled about not testing early so far (achieved by just not having any tests in the house, rather than actual self-control!). Think I might take a different approach this time and start testing when I'm towards the end of 2ww. For 1, to prepare myself if it is a BFN as I think I'd take it harder than in previous months if we're on honeymoon: AF will be just what I don't want for so many reasons! Also we have what could potentially be quite a rowdy drunken weekend the weekend before our honeymoon, so might do a FRER before that just in case. Right that's it - I'm decided - off to order some tests before I change my mind!

I temp and I found it very useful for confirming ovulation last month. I was massively surprised to get a +ve OPK, but as PCOS can give false positives, it was really helpful to be able to confirm if I did go on to ovulate or not by looking at my temps.

I’ve been trying the Kindara app and Fertility Friend. The former is much nicer to use, the latter has way more functionality. Good luck!

Alpha bloody law of sod! I know how you feel, as sod's law, if I do ovulate this month, if it's any earlier than last month then it’s unlikely we'll have any chance of trying to catch that egg as DH has to be away CD12-18. Last month I ovulated on CD20 so am hoping if my body does decide to lay an egg it can hang on till then!!

Hi ladies, my AF came too today, 1 day early. I'm just so glad I appear to be regular. We had all the family round, but fortunately I wasn't ill like last month. Except for the cold I've had the last 5 days!

Cat how was your honeymoon? I hope you weren't poorly all the way through.

I think I ovulated yesterday but my hubby is away hiking in the brecon beacons until tomorrow! I already knew this would be the case so I was prepared and have soothed the frustration with pampering and chocolate cake . Hope everyone else is having more luck. Looking forward to the first bfp on this thread! Xx

I'm on cd5. I have OPKs but have ordered a thermometer so will see how that goes. It would be nice to have the confirmation that I am actually ovulating.
Rain is making me feel very irritable! Crocheting my friend a baby blanket a wishing it were for me. xx
