Hello Mumsnet! This is my first post. I'm 28 and new to ttc. On cycle #2 cd12. Very few of my friends have kids or are interested in having them so I'm in need of some support!

I'd love to hear from others in a similar position and find some cycle buddies!

Hey. Cd21 and ovulation today I think so dtdtdtd. Feeling positive and hopeful. So glad this thread has had some bfp already!

Sizzle1981 · 30/08/2015 15:09

I was feeling very positive but now not so much. I had a positive opk on Fri (cd10 which is super early for me!!). With the help of a little blue pill we gave dtd a try but failed. My mum came to visit and stay the night last night. We live in a 1 bed flat so me and OH did talk about doing a sneaky bd in the night but OH wasn't feeling well and had to work at 6am this morning.
Hope if we dtd today we might still catch it but I'm just feeling a but hopeless now. Next cycle I will be doing the CB trial so will have some pretty nice opk kits to play with at least!!
How is everyone else??

Sizzle1981 · 28/08/2015 18:00

Aww! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months xx

PallasCat · 28/08/2015 17:13

Reeeallly really tired now (5+6). Have had occasional faint nausea, and a few other minor symptoms, but I think I'll be very lucky if they stay as they are at the minute... we'll see...

Sizzle1981 · 26/08/2015 22:28

Thanks Pallas! How are you feeling?

PallasCat · 26/08/2015 12:44

FX for you Sizzle!

Sizzle1981 · 25/08/2015 19:04

That is so exciting! I really think I'll be in shock for days when I get my BFP!

I'm on cd 7 today and feeling very positive! This has to be the month! I turn 34 at the end of Sept (Shock) so really really want a BFP this cycle.
xx

TwllBach · 23/08/2015 08:02

I am feeling very excited! And a bit panicky now that it has actually happened... I have bought my pregnancy vitamins and spent a silly amount of money on baby name books, baby journals and baby books and had my first 'pregnant' night out... it was exciting keeping it a secret! Hope you are all doing well!!

DelphiStar · 21/08/2015 18:54

Congratulations!!!!! (I'm back with new username due to MN hacking!)

Sizzle1981 · 21/08/2015 18:23

Yay!!!!! Congrats Garthy!!! How are you feeling?

Congrats again Pallas!!

PallasCat · 21/08/2015 16:12

Checking back in after a while away to report... BFP Shock

Did an IC last Friday (at 3 days after AF due) with a very faint line, confirmed with FR and a faint but stronger line last Saturday. I've done a couple more ICs since, including this morning, which are now strong.

Completely surprised, though nothing like as shocked as DH - lucky he was lying down when I told him, or I think he would've fallen over!

Apologies those getting this as a cross-post on other threads.

Congrats too to Alpha and Garthy! What a month!

Wishing you all the best of luck bananafish if you're still around xx

Yes I have been late... because I have PCOS about three years ago it was normal for my cycle to be anywhere between 21 and 45 days but I thought it had settled down!

Sizzle81 · 18/08/2015 13:01

Garthy - Have you ever been this late before? I've only ever been 4 days late. I would think that if you're using the CB digital it would show a positive if you were positive but I'm sure that's not always the case. Have you tried a non digi to see if there is a faint line? Sorry I'm not much help.
Delphinium - sorry AF got you but glad your cycle is shorter! Fx for this coming cycle.

DelphiniumStar · 18/08/2015 10:08

So AF for me. Cycle was 34 days so almost normal length now, so I'm trying to see the positive in that. I'll be offline for a few days and looking forward to the next cycle...

I tested Friday and Sunday and they both said negative, hat just means my period is late right?

TwllBach · 18/08/2015 08:58

So still no AF...

DelphiniumStar · 16/08/2015 22:26

Hey,
Congratulations alpha you are out of the ttc game! Good luck with your pregnancy.

Hey garthy, waiting is so frustrating. I'm on cd33, 10dpo. Going to try and wait to test and not obsess but I doubt I'll be able to resist. I'm interview people all day tomorrow so hoping to stay distracted. Just want to know if I'm preggo or if it's on to next month...

I would have no idea either! Fx for you xx

TwllBach · 16/08/2015 10:30

I did a test yesterday, a digital one. I don't know what other signs I should be looking for... Just feeling mopey and miserable today so I've just got back from the gym and am going to shower and head off for lunch with a friend to try and take my mind off it.

Sizzle81 · 16/08/2015 10:06

Did you do another test Garthy? Any signs other than queasy?

TwllBach · 16/08/2015 08:35

Sorry for pecking everyone's head, just... Still no AF and I feel really queasy. Little bit depressed today.

TwllBach · 15/08/2015 17:16

Congratulations Alpha!! How lovely Smile

Two days late now and just done a clear blue digital test that says not pregnant Sad

SharyBobbins · 15/08/2015 11:19

Aww congratulations Alpha!! Lovely news xx

Sizzle81 · 15/08/2015 10:04
