Hi all. Drttc - of course I'm lurking :) took me a while go catch up though. I've been busy with doing a work app- restructure and job at risk, perfect! :-/
So much going on with all of you. Big days for you and also Seeking tomorrow.
Seeking - my thoughts are with you .. Try to focus only on you.. Everything is about your recovery and future now so just remember though life can be shit people love you and good things are round the corner. And as Trying says - wine, chocolate, trash tv.. Whatever helps.
Drttc- also thinking of you .. I would have your mindset too so understand. Just hope so much you are pleasantly shocked.
Sunny - I know how stressful if is to be away from home in your boat.. Been there and time can go so slowly. What I would say is either way you are better to relax do read a lot etc to distract and if you're not taking 2x cyclogest ark way could you? I doubled when I had the dreaded brown. If you don't have enough I've enough to post some - just PM me.
Trying - wow... It's all happening. What a rollercoaster though but I think you art going to be good.. Exciting! And everything crossed for Tues and staying calm during PUPO phase ;)
Hula- I've no idea why my SO worked but I did go from 5 to 7.5 from 1st month to 2nd when it worked. I hope you feel ok. Though I hate needed I was fine with it and drugs also were fine. If was kind of good to know you didn't have to mess about with OPKs etc. good luck!!
Snoopy - glad you've been sticking to your guns with work. Sorry things so tough with SIL etc. I do understand. I've not one friend now who hasn't 1, 2 or 3 .. And I've realised it's impossible for me not to be accidentally hurt now every month. Innocent Qs like 'do you have any kids' feel insensitive. Hang on there. So many people get there like these kind girls who pop in onto the forum with their good news stories - they all had shitty times like is first. I hope this is your year too and in the meantime you look after yourself.
Sorry as ever my post has turned epic. You probably don't miss this! I know (ok hope) I'm in a good place now though but guess what, I'm still anxious. Worrying now off pred things will go downhill. The psoriasis I had on my elbows had returned so assume NK back up etc. have an nhs scan thurs when my wee boy should be 14/14.5 and seeing Mr S the week after. Then think it would only be a month until my anomaly scan. Crazy. Hi to everyone else x

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 20:07

Good luck tmrw drttc I'll be coming on to hear some good news

Seeking thinking of u and dh tmrw. Take it easy, hope it goes smoothly and get urself some Wine and Cake and I usually watch a few box sets to keep me busy. Good wife/24/scandal. Xxx

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 19:20

I don't resent my SIL her happiness. Apparently they've been trying since just after they got married three years ago so when she heard I'd miscarried after getting pregnant on honeymoon it must have been a kick in the teeth to her when she'd been trying. Just wish my mum would be a little more delicate, she knew yesterdy was my due date.

drttc we would definitely consider adoption. We've already talked about it and I've been looking at the adoption board since Christmas. We've even talked about adopting in Poland (my granddad was Polish) but local authorities like you to have clear year between your last miscarriage/ivf and applying and I'm not going to give up for a few years.

Good luck tomorrow, we'll be thinking about you.

trying I didn't think I ovulated during my wtf cycle, I just hope this cycle is like the others.

Drttc · 14/06/2015 19:02

Ah Snoopy so sorry you're going through this :( It's so bloody hard not to feel bad seeing your family members & close friends enjoy pregnancy. I'm thankful that it's not yet happened my group but I'm only a few months away from those announcements (I can tell). I've actually been thinking about, in addition to trying, looking into adoption. We've always planned on adopting while also having our own children. Would you consider that? I'll never give up on my dream of being a biological mother, but I would also love to give another child a chance at being loved.

My scan is at 11:30 tomorrow. Gulp.

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 19:00

I'm sorry snoopy. I've had my SIl have 2 babies while I try for one. She just blinks and gets preg and then has her baby! Plus we got preg for the first time together and told Eachother. It broke my heart when she gave birth and I felt like a total cow! But after a while the Envy fades and I do love my nieces and nephews. Sometimes people just don't get how much it hurts

Oh it is worrying I know but hopefully ur not THaT fertile?!! And sometimes u don't ovulaye on the wtf cycle? When I was super fertile I tried at away and it didn't happen...so even with a postive lh stick it doesn't mean u got an egg out...

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 18:37

trying I am panicking a little bit. I've sort of convinced myself that the last miscarriage was because I didn't start the meds in time, I don't want it to happen again.

Brilliant, I love getting updates from my mum about my pregnant SIL. Apparently everyone's getting this sort of buggy and that kind of changing mat and the army are giving them a bigger house and why don't you just stab me in the eye because I would much rather go through that today thank you.

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 18:06

Yep another one tmrw. I'm not gonna lie ive spent all day on Google. I'm insane! But I think I have a few progressing well/although a bit fast. And ive prob given up on the others! But tmrw will tell I suppose. Going to be another long night!
Wot time is ur scan drttc

Drttc · 14/06/2015 17:46

Yes, thanks trying! Bit confusing as I'd never had it explained before just heard it briefly mentioned on here.

Are you getting another update tomorrow?

Hope you're okay if you're lurking, Rosa!

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 17:21

If it's a girl They can't be sure if it was yours or beans...as will be same 46 xx...is that what u mean?
Snoopy hope ur not panicking!

Drttc · 14/06/2015 14:56

Oh trying that's not what I meant!! Of course it's sad knowing the gender. I just am getting the impression sex plays a role in karyotyping/chromosome issues?

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 14:28

Oh good luck tmrw drtcc im sure u have good news. The gender thing is only coz it's sad to know it was a boy or girl. Suppose it makes it more real. But don't thinnl everyone is like that it was just me being over sensitive

I've calmed down. I think we have 3ish running well so let's hope they continue.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 14:17

drttc it's so hard. If you're hopeful then you face getting hurt again. If you try to remain detached you feel guilty for not being positive. You do whatever you need to to get through.

Hula2 · 14/06/2015 14:16

Missed a whole page of posts ! Last one was about chances of multiples with SO !

Good luck dr ttc, quietly keeping my fingers for you for 2morrow.

Hula2 · 14/06/2015 14:13

I asked Dr S that and he said not at your age ! Ha ha !! But actually from what i read the multiple risk is less than with clomid anyway and only something like 2-4%. It s main purpose is to increase your chances by having 2-3 eggs rather than one. We ll see how i do, he s having me start straight away on a higher dose so hopefully that does something !

Drttc · 14/06/2015 13:46

Trying, I think that sounds pretty good to be honest! As everyone had said, it's impossible not to worry, so no point telling you otherwise. Just try to be rational & say 'all I need is one'. It's all getting so close now!!

Sunny, ahhh of course you're going to be worried as well. I'm almost certain every successful pregnancy on these threads has had spotting though (I've read through them). It unfortunately doesn't seem to indicate anything either way. It's pain and loads of bleeding that are the culprits - and even then people on these threads have birthed their pred babies! Maybe try indulging in things you love? Have some sparkling alcohol free bubbly, safe to eat cheeses, a foot massage? Things that will make you feel relaxed & pampered. At least then you can say you've given your bean a happy environment.

Snoopy - this thread is very enlightening isn't it? Love being a part of it.

One thing I don't understand though... Why does gender matter when testing after a loss?

I've gone and booked an 11:30 scan tomorrow to see what's going on in there. Don't want to make a big deal or give it too much thought. But I suppose I stand a shot of finding out if it's ectopic, blighted ovum, too far behind, or what. I don't want to be a fool & get my hopes up... But its hard to not want to see something when you're doing an ultrasound isn't it? I'm tired of being let down & I just want to avoid that if possible. So keeping expectations firmly low.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 13:44

Tomorrow!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 13:43

I just did another hpt to make sure and it's definitely negative.

Aaarrgghh I was being so good.

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 13:20

Snoopy my LH surge lasts 2 days so it's pistive for 48 hours

Transfer is tuesday!

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 13:03

Oh bollocks. Yeah I did get a negative hpt not long after everything passed.

loads of women have unprotected sex for months and don't get pregnant, this is a bit weird, hoping not to get pregnant. I feel like a naughty teenager!

Does the SO increase the chances of multiples or does it just tend to make one really strong egg?

I've learnt so much on this thread

Hula2 · 14/06/2015 12:57

I ll start next cycle and i m 8 dpo now so it ll be in just over a week !

Re the pos opk mine usu go blank within about 24 hrs of the peak. Left over hcg can also give false positive on opks. Have you tested out neg on hpt ? We did the same in my post mc cycle and i got ecwm the next day, it s so hard specifically not preventing after all the active ttc. I d prob make sure a preg test is neg now and then start testing again in 10 days so if you had caught then you d know its a new preg and you coukd start meds asap.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 14/06/2015 12:46

seeking I hope everything goes well for your D&C (as well as things can go in these horrible times) and it's as stress free as possible.

sun I know it's useless telling you to relax because that fear is always there but you had a good scan, try to hold on to that.

trying what time are they doing the transfer thingy tomorrow? Yes, that's the technical term!

Oooh hula when will you start your SO (I know what that is now Grin)

So, wen, I or I should say we did something stupid last night and dtd unprotected Blush had nothing in the house and was working out in my head that surely if I was going to ovulate in my wtf cycle it surely would have happened by now. But today I did an opk. It's not positive but it's definitely close. So now I'm just hoping I was post ov or that one time won't knock me up. Do your opks have a line after you've ovulated or do they go blank again? So stupid!

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 12:17

Thanks hula. All my top grade ones r really ahead of devolpement in terms of cells and one is already becoming a blastocyst. So they about a day ahead?! I don't know if that's ok, online some people saying it's bad and some saying it's good?? Ilol just have to wait till tmrw and I'll know more. I suppose none of them have died which is good???

Hula2 · 14/06/2015 11:39

Trying - it s so hard not to worry but if they seemed happy just try and trust in them, they ve done it hundreds of times and i m sure they d get u in sooner if they were worried you wouldn t make it to tues. These days to ET must be like torture !

Seeking hoping everything goes smoothly for you tomorrow.

Sunny - sorry you ve got this worry on holiday but try to stay positive. Rosa definetly had episodes of brown and i think Hope did also. Keeping everything crossed for you.

Tryingno1 · 14/06/2015 11:04

Had the phone call. Not sure wot to think. They seem To be devolping v fast. I've dropped grades too. The embryologist didn't seem To worried or bothered and said this was quite common for things to go up and down. I can't help but think the grades will keep falling. Oh what a drama :(

sunnyday01 · 14/06/2015 10:02

Thanks girls, had a bid old cry which made me feel better. I do t want it to ruin our holiday so I'm going to try and get on with it without worrying too much - easier said than done. It's only been brown so far and no clotting, plus just done tour of hotel and when came back wasn't much there so hoping its going to stop. I think I can deal with it easier if no red blood or clots.

Thinking of you trying and seeking. Hi to everyone else
