This is a thread for those diagnosed with high or very high natural killer cells and trying to concieve or are pregnant and taking steroids/intralipids etc

Sunny good to hear from u and glad the spotting has slowed down. Sure u read rosa post saying that she had it too. I think us lot are just more likely to spot! Enjoy ur holiday

Drttc - i m so sorry, this is so crappy for you. It seems like nothing can ever be just a bit shit, it has to be really really shit. Please do rant as you feel you need to, we are here for you and sending you strength to cope with this. Big hugs.

Drttc - so sorry to hear all is not good. I hope you can just wait and see/have injection rather than have surgery - thinking of you x

Trying, how exciting - so happy that you have some embies ready and waiting for you.

Hope everyone else is ok, difficult to keep up at the moment!

Well after my spotting yesterday morning, it tailed off through the day and so far today had nothing at all, hoping it stays that way. Who deign if it was a bit of breakthrough bleeding as period due around now as 8 weeks. My boobs are hurting as much as they were if at all but hoping that's the steroids and/or hormones settling down.

Bad news as expected! They think it's ectopic. Depending on what my blood results come back at (taking blood next) they are either going to wait & see what happens, or give me an injection to get rid of it (no conceiving for 3 months), or I need to go straight to surgery & have one of my tubes removed. I've no idea what to say without sounding horrible so I'll just leave it at that!

Yay congrats Trying! So amazing to have those little embryos growing for you, just waiting to be put in the oven!

I'm just here in the waiting room. Feel so awkward and curious. And confused as to how I'm supposed to be acting/feeling now, then after this appointment. RMC is awful & that can't be said enough.

They called! They doing Ok, some better than others but all ok and all trying to become blastocsysts. None died! she said I should be happy and Transfer 1130 tmrw

Thanks Hula.. Hopefully you're right that I'm safe now but you're also right in that even if all goes well I will need to learn to live with more worry :)
It's good with SO to actually see the size and number of follicles rather than blindly hoping you're getting the timing right and the ovitrelle obviously helps with that too. Looking fwd to good news soon from you :) x

Thanks for the SO info, kinda look forward to it (weirdly). Lets hope it does the trick.

Completely understandable for you to still be anxious. I can remember almost wishing each week away when preg with DS and i had nt had a loss. I don t think you really relax till your LO is in your arms (and even then you wear your heart on your sleeve for the rest of your life !). The placenta will be pretty strong now against nk cells and you ll still be having the intralipid effects working so try not to worry about being off the pred.

Good you ve got a scan thurs for added reassurance. Keep us posted.
