Trying - great you're PUPO.. :) I'm not sure I understand the impact of what's going on with your DH sperm but good news you have more embies frozen:) hope everything else sorts out and you have ongoing good news :)
Drttc- glad you're letting some emotions out. At the time you feel out of control but I know from too much experience it's the best way to actually regain control and start to feel better. Hang in there you have a great positive attitude that will get you there.
Seeking - so relieved for you all went smoothly and now the only way is up again. I know you might still have emotional blips but as you know that's all part of the recovery process.
Hula- I have felt exactly as you do and possibly will again. But as everyone says you're now giving yourself the best possible chance of conceiving with SO and apparently summer is a more successful time too - hope so for everyone x

Tryingno1 · 16/06/2015 17:03

DH froze his sperm today but didn't tell me as I didn't want to know. There's still the most ridiculous number floating around. I really hope this works otherwise we r screwed. She said there was enough for 1 more cucle today so on my bday (great!) we are going to leave another one! What a drama

Tryingno1 · 16/06/2015 15:43

I know! It was on the lower end of being optimal but I was told u can still get preg with it and the oestrogen would help thicken it. Hopefully it's improving as we speak. I have no idea why it's on the lower end of normal. Just my silly body! Got acupuncture later but my usual lady on holiday so it's a stand in but I've been told she's good!
Really pleased I have at least 3 blasts frozen if this doesn't work at least I have some More goes with no injections etc.

Drttc · 16/06/2015 15:13

Congrats, Trying! They wouldn't do the transfer unless they were confident!

Seekingmiracles · 16/06/2015 12:21

I'm sure if they were concerned they wouldn't have put the little one back in. Now just try to relax and let little embie get cosy! Smile

Tryingno1 · 16/06/2015 12:10

I'm panicking about my stupud lining! I really hope it's behaving. Eek! And I hope this cocktail of drugs doesn't upset the embryo and make it not like my uterus!

Tryingno1 · 16/06/2015 12:03

Hey guys got an embie on board! There are def 3 being put in freezer now and potentially another one tmrw but they are going to see how that does. So only one of them misbehaved! They seemed quite postive so I suppose I have to be too! DH getting his blood results but I refuse to know as I don't want any tears I'll deal with it after a BFP or a bfn. I really really Hope this works. It feels quite surreal. Thanks for all ur support x

Tryingno1 · 16/06/2015 10:37

Aw drtcc. I thought u sounded so brave and survival mechanism was in overdrive. It's good to let it out and it is scary. But they wouldn't have let u home if there was even a slight risk of anything scary happening. U will be ok.

On route will, will update once embie on board!

Seekingmiracles · 16/06/2015 10:21

I definitely think we sometimes manage on auto pilot Drttc, sometimes a big cry can really help. Try not to think the worst, I know that's hard right now but don't assume the worst lovely. Sending you lots of love and positivity xx

Good luck Trying! So exciting!! Xx

Drttc · 16/06/2015 10:15

Whoops I missed a whole page of posting!

Trying, I reckon your uterus is ember friendly! And yes, bloods tomorrow morning to determine next step.

Hula- trying is right, you're about to start SO & then you can up the chances of getting to that good egg!

Thanks again for keeping me in your thoughts everyone.

Seeking, it's a crap road we're down atm... But it's obvious we're fighters & we've earned making it to the end of this thing. We're going to get there, I know it.

Drttc · 16/06/2015 10:07

Thanks so much for the support everyone. Finally had a big cry last night as I accepted that I'm actually quite scared of everything now & what it means for the future :( Feel better at the moment but that's a flimsy feeling. I'd really like to fast forward through all this bit!

Good luck today, Trying!!! X

Tryingno1 · 16/06/2015 09:41

Morning girls

Seeking so glad it went ok yest and ur getting some tlc.

Drtcc how u holding up? Is it bloods again tmrw?

I'm sorry hula. It's so crap when u see that bfn. Doesn't matter how long it's been. But ur starting SO now and I have everything crossed that this works for u. If u didn't have a chance Mr s would have told u. I really hope it happens soon for u...

Having my brekkie then off for transfer. I haven't been preg in a year now and I'm worried my body has forgotten how to do it?! I really hope it was just the sperm stopping it and my uterus doesn't reject the little embie. DH has day off today too and I'm on orders to sit on my backside. Fingers crossed xx

Hula2 · 16/06/2015 08:58

Seeking - glad all went smoothly and good plan with the supplements.

Trying - love the story, keep them coming. Good luck today !

Drttc - hope you re feeling ok today.

Bfn for me this morning (god i loathe early testing). Its now 2 years of ttc no 2 and 18mns since i last got preg. Starting to wonder if its ever going to happen. Maybe my eggs are too old and crap and i should just give up Sad . Sorry for the down post.

Seekingmiracles · 16/06/2015 08:26

Ahhhh just posted a massive message and lost it!!Angry
This is still an epic post... Sorry!!

Sorry I was AWOL yesterday. Decided to just have a day to myself to get my head straight and deal with the erpc. It went as well as can be expected, nurses were generally lovely. Came home, slept, ate (a lot), watched TV. Now feeling better that I'm past that horrible phase and ca start to think about the future.

Drttc- I'm so sorry you've had bad news. I really thought you were going to be ok. Why do we always get kicked when we're down. I hope you don't have to have surgery and it passes by itself. Big hugs hun. Rant on here as much as you want!

Rosa - nice to see youSmile I know you're going to worry all the way through but also try to enjoy being pregnant. It's such a special time.

I've been reading. 'It starts with an egg' - very interesting and informative. Needless to say I've ordered DHEA and ubiquitous CoQ10 - both supposedly brilliant for improving egg quality. I'm willing to throw anything at this now!

Trying - hope all goes well this morning and you have a top quality environment to go in! Fingers crossed the tee passes quickly and you get your longed for happy ending.

Snoopy - hope you're ok. I have a friend who is only a few days ahead of wher I would have been if this pregnancy worked out. Will be hard seeing her progress but she's had her own battle getting here so I'm happy for her.

Sunny - glad the brown has stopped. Enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Tryingno1 · 15/06/2015 21:05

Drtcc-im glad they let you home. And I'm hoping they drop so u don't have to have surgery. How scary for u. Well done for being brave. Are u off work? Like rosa said its good there's a chance u can keep ur tubes and have everything crossed u can.

Seeking am thinking of u

Hope story! Friend who took 4 yrs to
Concieve with 3 miscarriages is now preg again with her second without trying and no miscarriages and No drugs! Just like that. So 2 kids when for a long 4 years she thought no Kids.
Xxx

Rosa27 · 15/06/2015 20:13

Seeking .. Just to say thinking of you. Really hope you're doing ok all considered and you're wrapped up warm with creature comforts. X

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 15/06/2015 20:08

Ah that makes me feel better hula. I seem to have a 14 day luteal phase and if the longer follicular phase is actually better then I'll put up with it. I saw on another thread a long follicular phase wasn't great because the egg was 'older' but I trust the people on this thread.

suemays · 15/06/2015 19:43

So sorry drttc but thank goodness you will still be able to try again and its positive that you can still conceive.

Hula2 · 15/06/2015 19:40

Snoopy - not sure, i hope it doesn t shorten my follic phase too much as it has got shorter since my mc so often ov day 12/13 and earlier than 10 is not meant to be great. My acu actually aims to get people to ov between 16 and 20 as she feels it gives the egg longer to mature. I conceived my DS from a day 18 ov so as long as you re getting a good luteal phase i dont think i d worry too much with a 33 day cycle.

Hula2 · 15/06/2015 19:16

Oh Drttc what a crap day. Thank god they didnt rush you straight into surgery and hopefully if the pregnancy has already stopped growing then it will be feasible to let you pass this naturally. I so would have done the same with going home to get stuff, the idea of being stuck in hospital without you phone/internet access is not worth thinking about !

Have you stopped your other meds yet ? Maybe that will help things along tho don t forget you need to tapered off the pred if you ve been taking it longer than 3wks.

I m sorry you re going through all this, sounds like you re being very strong.

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 15/06/2015 19:11

Oh drttc Sad why does this crappy universe have to kick you when you're down? I'm so sorry. I really hope it resolves itself without any more medical intervention. Look after yourself x

seeking how are you?

sunny hope that spotting stays away now and you get to enjoy your holiday a bit.

rosa glad to hear everything is going well. Hope the nerves start to disappear soon.

hula does the SO shorten your follicular phase and overall cycle length? Mine is 33 days long Envy

trying that's great that everything's going to schedule. This time tomorrow you'll be PUPO!
In answer to your question I am still off work.

Rosa27 · 15/06/2015 18:35

Sunny and Trying - relieved you're both still in a good place. Hope it continues that way and this fast becomes a good news thread again but for everyone x

Rosa27 · 15/06/2015 18:33

Oh Drttc - so gutted for you.. Actually quite shocked as really felt it was time for more luck and good news .. You don't deserve this at all. Probably a stupid thing to say as who does? But really this is cruel but as you say at least you have both your tubes. Did you get any info on why this happened it is it really just random bad luck?
Hope you're off and taking it easy xx

Drttc · 15/06/2015 17:49

Well kind of good news for an ectopic. My hcg & prog have back low enough for them to discharge me! They weren't letting my leave, eat or drink, and had a tube in my arm in case there was an emergency & they needed easy access- it was horrible! (I actually begged to go buy a magazine then secretly took a taxi home and back to pick up phone charger & kindle- I'm crazy I know). They want we back in Wednesday morning to see if my hcg goes down. If it does, it may take care of itself & they'll continue monitoring. If it doesn't, it's either the injection or surgery (which they have a slot open for me on Wednesday). So so happy to be back home now!!! Talk about a crap Monday- but at least I still have both my tubes!

Tryingno1 · 15/06/2015 17:03

Now that my embies seem to be ok I'm worrying my stupid suboptimal
Lining. I hope the extra oestrogen they have given me helps thicken it up. So much to worry about I wish I could switch off!
