Thanks sunny, was that similar to when you would have ovulated on a natural cycle ?

sunnyday01 · 22/06/2015 19:22

You ovulate 36 hours after taking it, it all depends on how big your eggs are as to when you inject it. In my first month I injected day 12 (9pm) and so ovulated day 14 ( pm/eve) but in the later months I was injecting on day 11 as my response was better and so ovulated day 14. Does that make sense?

We always DTD more than Dr s told us too though, always got a couple in before and one after just in case!

Trying - hope you re feeling better today. I ve definetly felt that way and like its never going to happen (in fact everytime i ve got preg its been after a month where i felt this way, almost if you ve got to hit rock bottom and kinda mentally give up before it happens). I really really hope you get some good news on thursday.

Rosa - i dont know about the symptoms after coming off cyclogest but i m guessing shouldn t be much as the placenta is so well established now it should be producing loads of its own.

Afm - started meds today and so far feeling ok. Got my scan next mon. Bit miffed when dh announced he d be away on work next tues night which will be day 11. Ov on day 12 last month so will not be impressed if that turns out to be a critical day. Does anyone know if the letrozole makes u ov earlier, later or the same ?

Rosa27 · 22/06/2015 13:21

Does anyone know if I should expect withdrawal symptoms (twinges, spotting, nausea, anything?) when I stope cyclogest ??

Rosa27 · 21/06/2015 21:34

Trying .. I felt like that 4 months ago - literally exactly like that. A week before my BFP. Also tiredness aside - which kicked in at 6 weeks- I had no symptoms really until I stopped pred and sickness kicked in. But now it's gone and worried too.. I must have cyberchondria and have read all there is to read at every stage .. There's just no normal avd always something to find that reassures, but at the same time raise your anxiety. IF I could only take this advice .. Unless pain and bleeding stay away from the internet (except this forum which is morale boosting!) x
Hula.. Best of luck tomorrow. They say it can take 5 cycles but hoping you're quicker too :) x

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 20:08

Sorry for being a pooper! I'll be fine tmrw!

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 20:08

Suppose it's good in a way it's a while. Otherwise it's too much info and emotion to process at once!

I'm really struggling today. At the clinic at my transfer they were so postive for me, and I feel like every doctor I see tells me "I'm young" and just expects this to mean I'll be ok. But I'm Over 2 years in and have nothing but failure to show for it. Me and dH actually had a chat about what a childless life would mean for us and how long we would try for. I think 35 is my limit (as will have been 7 years of this then) , then I'm selling my house and going travelling and running away to Aus or New Zealand to drink over priced wine and sit on a beach! Oh dear. I'm sure we have all felt like this at some Point?

Seekingmiracles · 21/06/2015 18:57

Red velvet comfort eating sounds like the best kind of comfort eating to meWink
Thankfully, aside from it being a royal pain in the bum, it's also a good distraction!
The results take 3 weeks and then we book to see DrS when we've got the results. So won't be for a while.

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 18:15

Ps seeking when is ur appt with ur karotype result? How r u feeling about them?

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 18:10

Thanks seeking! I'm trying to stay postive. I was hoping I would have an implantatiom bleed or spot. Or maybe sore boobs? But I keep prodding and nothing! To be fair my DH reminded me that 2 secs after my transfer I went "I don't feel any diff, I don't feel like my embryo is me"! When he had just showed me going into my womb! I think I'm mental Hmm
Sorry the house is being stressful too. I suppose it's a good distraction?? And ur puppy is due soon!
I've just eaten the hugest slice of red velevet pre bday cake. Comfort eating!?

Seekingmiracles · 21/06/2015 17:11

I didn't 'feel' pregnant the whole time i was pregnant Trying very weird. But DrS did say that he's sseen clients with all the symptoms under the sun and bad news and vice versa. Just keep holding out, staying positive. Not long now.

I'm ok thanks everyone, had a little cry this morning. I'm so angry that i'm in this position again. And the house move is getting on my nerves as well....someone up the chain's mortgage offer expired and they didn't realise until we were all about to exchange. Fuming is an understatement!!

Glad you're back and had no more spotting Sunny, how far along will you be on Saturday? Hope this week goes quickly.

Thinking of you Drttc

Hope - sorry you have pre-eclampsia, hope the Drs are looking after you. Not long now!! Smile

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 13:57

Intuition I mean...

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 13:25

Seem to missed a few posts!
Hope ur so close now. Sorry about ur preeclampsia but baby will out soon! Yay

Seeking thanks I know I shouldn't expect symtpoms but having been preg 3 times before I kinda expect some divine feeling saying u have done it! Like an intution? How r u feeling?
Drtcc hope ur feeling better and bleeding is slowing down
Xx

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 12:05

Hey sunny welcome back. Glad u had a good time and great to hear no more spotting! That's really reassuring. I'm actually 10dpo today but I'm too scared to test and wonder if maybe it will be postive tnrw or day after. I'd rather just know for sure on Thursday. I'll be equiv of 14dpo by then and if it's negative I won't be holding out any hope.
Yay hula, it's time for ur SO! Hope ur kinda looking fwd to it?!
I've had diarrhoea the last few days. Ur meant to be constipated with the progesterone. Maybe it's my nerves?! Either way it's not v nice!

Hula2 · 21/06/2015 11:56

Morning Ladies,

Sunny - glad you had a lovely hol and no more spotting. Hope saturday bring you more reassurance.

Trying - as everyone says the meds could be completely masking symptoms (and you were nt on those prev pregs) so try not to worry. I actually had very few symptoms with ds. Well done you for not testing early. Just hang till thurs and wishing you the biggest bfp.

Rosa - what a pain in the arse the nhs are being. How can they think this attitude is helpful now ? What is supposed to be the intralipid issue ? I think at the end of the day you ve just got to go with you gut as to what is right, god knows what they ll say about 4 humira shots if i get that far !!

Afm af is here so starting femara tomorrow !

sunnyday01 · 21/06/2015 11:08

Spotting not shooting!

OP posts:
sunnyday01 · 21/06/2015 11:06

Hi all! Back from my holiday, had a lovely time and a good amount of relaxation! Aside the shooting last Sunday, not had anything else which I guess is good. I keep swinging from thinking everything is ok, to not even feeling pregnant and thinking the worst! Next scan is on Saturday so just got to get through this week!

So much has been going on, not sure I can keep up with it all!

Trying - so glad you had some embbies to freeze, but hopefully you won't need them! I wouldn't worry about having no symptoms too much as I have had various symptoms over my pregnancies and I don't think it indicates I e thing or another, plus the pred will be covering things too. Thursday will soon roll around - is that day 10?

Seeking - I saw your tweets to lumie cave and then when I saw on here that you tweeted I wondered if it was you. Hope you are doing ok.

Rosa - can't believe you're having so much negativity about the treatment - I think if it was me I'd tell them to mind their own business!! Hope your doing ok though, have you had your last scan with Mr s now?

Hope - wow can't believe you are so near. Hope you're managing to rest as much as possible before the baby arrives!

Drttc - sounds like you have lots of info, I guess it's just making a decision about what is best for you! It really is a minefield!

Hula - hope SO is going ok, have you had your Scan yet? I used to find that boots needed to order the ovitrelle but it was generally there the next day.

Sorry if I've forgotten anyone else ....

OP posts:
Seekingmiracles · 21/06/2015 09:17

Rosa it must be so frustrating hearing all that negativity about the plan you're on. But you are pregnant and wether that is to do with the cocktail of drugs you're on or not you will never know. They can be negative all they want but had you not had those drugs you may not be where you are now. Screw them and their point of view.

Trying - any symptoms could be masked by the pred. Remember that, I had zero symptoms.

Happy Father's Day to all your DHs, they may not all be fathers yet, but they will be. And they will be the best fathers out there.
Enjoy your day ladies xx

Tryingno1 · 21/06/2015 08:16

Determine it's so confusing isn't it. Diff ideas and thoughts. As long as ur comfortable with ur combo im sure one of them majic pills will do its trick! I have read of women with high antibodies but normal thyroid levels getting thyroxine so hopefully it works!
Rosa they sound v anti lipids up there! It must be worrying u. To be fair it's just soya bean extract how can it be harmful?? I'm more worried about the other meds im on but to fair the stage im at now I feel like it's no baby or take a calculated risk and pray it works out.
So I've not tested well done me. I'm too scared to see a bfn! I have no symtpoms :( and rem back to my previous pregnancies I have had implantatiom bleeding once and also sore boobs anothe time. But this time apart from being anxious I feel ok. Ugh! Anyways Thursday isn't that far away

Hope everyone else is ok xx

Rosa27 · 20/06/2015 10:33

Thanks Seeking, Trying, Determined and Hope .. I just obviously hope things stay on the right track.
Hope - can't believe how close you are! So exciting and amazing. Really hope preeclampsia isn't stressing you too much and you're being well looked after.
Trying - I feel for you as the waiting game is a killer.. But Determined is right .. You're so close and have done/ are doing everything possible.
Seeking - how are things???
Determined .. It's tough dealing with different advice isn't it. Not only confusing but a but soul destroying. However on a positive if you use put together the advice of both and agree on what feels right for you as you're doing then I'm sure it will work out. What is it that Mr S doesn't support? Have you just been out on levo? I've just had more crap from nhs again this week about pred and intralipid.. Even gave me a leaflet about issues with intralipid and concluded not known if cab cause issue to baby or woman's fertility. Thanks for that. I must admit my gut right now is that the levo helped, the cyclogest and my diet changes. My blood tests showed pred and intralipid brought down NK too so very open to this too. But as some in this position also have healthy babies without treatment I do wonder if always necessary.. Or maybe the role of diet and managing hormones (however you do it) could be the most important thing for some people. Anyway thank god I'm not a doctor- and thank god there are some amazing ones out there.

Welcome Bumble - best of luck !
Hi to all x

Determined123 · 20/06/2015 09:07

Hey Seeking, do you mean cycle after miscarriage? If so yes and I don't know how (as every cycle is a wtf cycle...last month ov on day 25, 3 day LP!!!) I generally can't get pregnant without herbs or super ov! Think the previous months super Ov must have messed up my hormones to allow me to get pregnant.

Interesting with endo...as expected isn't so convinced with NK theory which matched NHS consultants view. Would treat me with levothyroxine heparin and aspirin...doesn't think my pcos is my biggest issue as I have been preg many times (still tried to get across my short lp and hardly any bleeding for last 6 months is odd) but he thinks my body has been through a lot...it also could be the herbal formula I was on from my nutritionist so stopped that! Wasn't convinced I needed metformin (and since it's done absolutely nothing in my view I'd be inclined to agree...skin is slightly better but still bad)

Egg quality issue and late ov is very unlikely, I could try IVF to ensure the lining I have is optimal but that would be the only reason to have it at this stage. (I can get a good lining with SO).

Generally the fact that I can get preg is a very good think with pcos and I'm fit and healthy and that's all good. Just need to reduce thyroid antibodies which is why he gave me levo...

However, I asked Dr s about these meds last appointment and he wouldn't give it to me! AND, I still believe I have some pretty bad immune response to getting preg so I'm going to do my pred 14 day retest and see how my body responds! If I have to do ivig then I will and have accepted it but will see what the results say. It's my best friends wedding Saturday and that was my deadline for no drugs...she does not need a fat spotty depressed pred head maid of honour! So it starts next week...

Trying its so understandably normal to have a meltdown you are going going through a lot and hormones are all over! But all I can say is you are great place right now in terms of the chances of moving forward on your journey...think of how far you have come you are so close Wink Keep going and don't let the anxiety get to you if you can xxx

Tryingno1 · 19/06/2015 20:02

Determined glad to hear u sounding upbeat. so what's the plan?!

I'm ok! Had a huge melt down yest DH sorted me out. Just not feeling too Hopeful. I have no reason to not but I suppose so much shitty luck in the TTC front has made me believe it's not meant to be! Plus still not a single symptom. Anyways had some stern talks from my mum and dH and my dad! So trying to stay more hopeful!

Hi to all, happy weekends xxx

Seekingmiracles · 19/06/2015 19:58

Did you fall in your wtf cycle Determined? I don't think my body knows how to be that quick! But you're right, it does make more sense. Feels weird being 'careful' though. Goes against everything we've been doing for the last 20months!

What did your endo say? What is your plan now? X

Determined123 · 19/06/2015 14:28

Yay Rosa! :)

Seeking you are absolutely doing the right thing...its so hard to not think am i wasting precious time but the break has been the best thing, feel like i have got 'me' back and i am fitter and healthier and feel better than i did since this all started and now i am ready. As trying mentioned Dr S said when i got preg right after a cycle that could have been the reason i MCd as my hormones were all over the place (even though my mum conceived my brother right after a MC)!

Trying hope you are feeling good today? Its sunny and the weekend and your birthday wknd!

Hey swlondonnanny i was wondering how you were doing. I went to see an Endo in London yesterday afternoon to go through all my hormone issues...i can't remember but have you seen an Endo? Perhaps i could pass on their details if you were interested (apols if you have gone down this route). I also feel so much better now i have made some decisions about my next steps...i think its the indecision that has been crippling me these last few months. Let me know if you want their details.

Welcome Bumblebee and hi Hope - can't believe how much time has flown! I am so excited for you :)

Waves to everyone else...i hope you all have lovely weekends planned!
x

swlondonnanny · 19/06/2015 09:09

Bumblebee I am on the same coventry protocol and went to see GP straight after I received my letter with the treatment plan and he prescribed one box of prednisolone without any problem even in advance. I said that I am worried I will not be able to get it straight away once get BFP and as all my losses were chemicals so very early he understood.
It is self founding clinic but NHS one so no issue with it. He also put cyclogest on repeat prescription for me...
Hello to everyone else, I still read all your post and am happy/said with all your news but am trying to sort out my emotions (feel overwhelmed with all this TTC with immune and thyroid issues) Once my head is in the right place and am back to my usual cheerful self I will post more Smile
