Oh and yes I'm 29 in September!

Drttc · 25/06/2015 13:53

Hey Trying! I've read a lot but how can a miscarriage result in a bad egg the following month? Aren't your eggs already there before the miscarriage?

I'm going with the idea that the 'non fussy uterus' is allowing bad eggs to implant. So if I had a bad egg last month, I'm hoping I may have a good one this month. So if I skip this month, I lose my odds if that makes sense. I can't help but think 3 miscarriages in 6 months suggests more dodgy eggs than normal? This months pregnancy never had good hcg levels, which indicates the embryo wasn't dividing (growing) properly. That's why I'm convinced it wasn't a good egg...

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 13:43

Hi snoopy! Thanks for ur wishes. I'm glad they have relocated u I think it will do u a world of good! It's natural to be crapping urself! But u will get preg and u have to hope in mr shehata Tx. Like drtcc says, spoil ursrlf enjoy the time u have with ur dh and get strong and ready for next time. (My journey leading to ivf is a really odd one given my past pregnancies - testicalar failure is another 1 percent statistic like RM so don't let that scare u into thinking u may struggle to Get pregnant) .

Sunny i comfort ate all through ivf! I was good with high protien which is what they advise but had cake or icecream nearly every other day! I usually weigh myself weekly and try be good when I see a pound or has crept on (I have to work hard to keep My bmi In check as I love food!) but I just can't deal with weight stress too at the moment ! So for the first time it's been a month since I weighed myself and my jeans felt tight today :(. But who cares! Small price to pay! Just hope midwife doesn't tell me off!
10 weeks!!! How did that happen! So pleased for u, they say if u have good 10 week scan ur more or less home dry (obviously panic never leaves). What time is it I'll be refreshing the page waitjng for ur news! Have u had ur midwife appt?

Drttc, I know the feeling of wanting to get on with it. But if u are hyper fertile u will just catch the month later rather than risking a bad egg in the wtf? I know of a few consultants who really think u should wait a month before ttc again. at ur age u can't have that many bad eggs, ur young and healthy. Interestingly out of my 6 embryos 2 were def duff as they died by day 6. The other 4 scored low in being chromosomal (but can't be sure,it's just guess work). We are similar age too? Have u got an appt with mr s to discuss wot to do next time as he sometimes tweaks things?

Drttc · 25/06/2015 12:56

Wow loads to catch up on!

Trying, congratulations!! It's been a long wait for you and you really deserve this. I know it's a tough wait these first few weeks, but so far this ivf process has been very positive for you. You've got embies and spermies in the bank, so now it's time to relax a bit. Everything that can be done, has been done. A few weeks from now you may be settling in to the idea and feeling much more confident :) So cool that ivf worked the first time too!

Glad to hear everyone is doing well! Good luck with your scan Sunny! Not far from that 12 weeks mark now :)

Aww snoopy I'm sorry you're worried about so many things. Would finding some positive distractions help? Country walk at the weekend, romantic date night with lots of wine, picking up some good books?

I'm plodding along. Debating whether to DTD or not as I'm now cycle day 10. I know people have said not to but I just feel with hyper fertility I'm dealing with something a bit different. I keep thinking 'what if I miss a good egg'. The stories I hear about hyper fertile people is that they just keep trying and trying until they get the 'good one'... Some with like 10 miscarriages in a year, with the 11th BFP resulting in their rainbow. Of course if my cycle is a wtf this month then it'll be out of my hands anyway!

sunnyday01 · 25/06/2015 12:29

No I'll be 10 weeks on Saturday - I'm struggling to hide it - my clothes are snugger due to eating more and feeling bloated

sunnyday01 · 25/06/2015 12:26

Plus my eating hadn't been great over past few weeks, I need to comfort eat to get me through!!

'Sorry situation'?! My phone doesn't like the word 'sperm' haha

Snoopysimaginaryfriend · 25/06/2015 11:07

De-lurking to say huge, ginormous congratulations to hope! A happy ending to what must have been an awfully stressful time x

And congratulations trying! So so so pleased for you! And good news about the sorry situation!

As for me I'm having good days and bad days. My period arrived yesterday exactly on schedule which I hope is a good sign for my wtf cycle that things are sorting themselves out. Now we just have to get pregnant again, I'll admit I'm very scared. What if it doesn't happen? And what if it does?

Work have found me an office job, the same office I was in before first mc, but at least the other two people in there are friends who used to be on my team. I'm hearing awful things from work, while teams getting scrapped and people forced to move. Makes me very scared for the future

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 10:46

Can't ever imagine doing a facebook! I'm not planning on telling anyone for as long as I can hide it! Minus my parents, best friend and dh who knew we were having Ivf.
I feel like rosa preg has gone so fast, and my 24 hours of knowing feels like an eternity!
Will u be 8 weeks on sat sunny?

sunnyday01 · 25/06/2015 10:40

I had healthcare at home too - all very easy - my next one is Monday all being well.

That's how I have got through it taking one day and one night at a time - it feels like it is taking ages. I haven't told anyone yet - if sat goes ok we are going to tell our parents then wait up the 12 week scan before telling other people I'll only be telling work and close friends though - won't be broadcasting it on fbook!

Hula2 · 25/06/2015 09:20

Trying that is soooooooo fantastic !!! I know its one day at a time but at least the getting pregnant hurdle is done. Great you ve got lots of time to chill. Feeling really positive for you. Afm i ve got my scan mon so hoping for some decent follicles esp as he s put me straight on the higher dose (7.5mg). Ovitrelle is in fridge waiting and last humira is done so lets hope i can pop out a good egg !

Seekingmiracles · 25/06/2015 09:14

I'm sure it's the birthday cake that did the trick Trying Wink! There's got to be some enjoyment in all this stress and worry and cake definitely brings enjoyment!

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 08:48

Thanks guys! Eeeek. Only hurdle one though.

Determined I know the ants in the pants feeling to get going! But I think it's done u a world of good and I'm sure u will be armed with a strong plan soon! Maybe SO will be best for u as it did bring ur l phase longer?

Me and dh are off together this week which is nice. And I have lots of leave off work to take it easy and relax. My mum is already fussing over me as is DH. I keep telling them I don't feel anything yet so they can wait to fuss over me! Felt v guilty over the excess Choc and cake I ate at my bday weekend can't have been good for the bean. But yest I ate so much fruit, salad and grilled chicken And nuts and organic milk! Need to keep the sugar low as the dex is def making me feel hungry!

Determined123 · 25/06/2015 08:29

Whoop trying! Such amazing news...I am so so happy for you... THIS IS THE BEST NEWS Smile

No not ttc yet for me, still got to have a retest after 2 weeks of pred so won't be until mid end July (only started this week) that I know what the next steps...kinda wish I did this sooner but I just don't think I was ready!! I don't think I could get preg anyway...my cycles are wrecked since last mc I'm not even sure I'm ovulating?!?!?

Sorry only popping in briefly...so busy with work etc (and wedding this wknd yes which was my deadline) so it's all go!!

Hi to all xxx

Seekingmiracles · 25/06/2015 08:26

Yay!! More brilliant news Trying!! I'm so happy for you! I knew you'd get some good news... Just had a feeling!! Obviously this part is scary but as others have said just try to be positive and keep off the internet.
I had intralipids via healthcare at home, very easy. I only had to have them at 6 weeks.

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 08:06

Ah thanks. My place does pre ivf, 4 8 and 12 but not 16. Does he still do them in Wimbledon or does healthcare at home do them? I haven't even rung my clinic to inform them yet as was too shocked yest! I'll let them know today...

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 08:04

I know! I need a Google and a pubmed ban! I swear I've become a Obs and gynae consultant, an embryologist and now a urologist over the last 2 years! Need to keep a lid on it. Going to take each day as it comes...and try not to plan and obssess! So far I'm actually calm but I'm sure it will change every hour!

I know scans r the worst. But sat isn't long and u had no more spotting. Ur on the meds and it's new sperm new egg new lining EQUALS new hope. That's my new motto!

sunnyday01 · 25/06/2015 08:02

Oh and intralipids are every 4 weeks - 4,8,12 and 16 but mine will work out as 5.5, 10, 14 and 18.

Ha trying, that is fantastic news! Still a long way to go and lot more anxiety to come (speaking from experience!) but I think you need to keep thinking positive and try and see how things go without researching everything (I know how you love researching!). I really am so pleased for you.

Haven't done my blood pressure again, don't want to get a machine until I've been on Saturday and see how things stand. Starting to get very nervous about Saturday now, part of me thinks everything is ok, and another (bigger part) keeps wondering what if something has gone wrong and I don't know it. Just 2 more days to get through!

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 07:37

Just seen ur other messages! Ur all so sweet thanks for thinking of me.

Sorry determined I didn't ask how u were im still half asleep! When does ur official TtC start? Is it the wedding this weekend?

Tryingno1 · 25/06/2015 07:36

Hi hula, bless u -thanks for thinking of me means a lot.

It's a bfp. I found out yest but was too scared to share it! I'm in shock, and just trying to keep lid on my anxiety. I feel calmer this time around and I'm praying so hard that this bean makes it. It's been over a year since I was last preg...will book a scan for 6 plus 4ish today. But am not keen on too many scans as they scare the hell out of me! Think I'm going into bury head in sand mode but also hoping it's going to work.

Thanks for all ur wishes and postive thoughts last month it's meant a lot! I feel like a bit of a numpty being so sure it hadn't worked. No sympoms but my frer was strong postive yest at 13dpo.
Also the urogolgist (over email) said he should be able to hold my dh sperm count so we can save up lots incase this cycle doesn't work. Which also makes me feel calmer as I was worried we were literally watching it go to zero. Plus in the future I don't want the choice of kids completly taken away for us. So the sperm can just sit there frozen waiting if we ever wish to use it.

Hula when is ur first scan again?
Seeking puppy soon?!
Hope how is little one and how r u?
Drttc how u doing? Hope ur keeping up the pma
Rosa hope ur ok stopping the cyclogest
Sunny is ur bp ok now? Hoping sat comes quick for u!
Snoopy u still there? How r u?

Ps can I ask when mr s suggests u have intralipids I think my ivf clinic is diff dates....

Seekingmiracles · 25/06/2015 07:15

Fingers crossed go you Trying!!!

Hopender · 25/06/2015 07:11
