Yay to cake! Don't put too much pressure on ursrlf, I felt guilty all through my ivf for my cake and Choc and ultimately im sure it hardly makes any diff! So enjoy a nice big piece!
Def try seduce him tonight! If u trigger today then will oulation be tmrw in which case today is right timing. Then hopefully next month u might pop 2!

Hula2 · 29/06/2015 11:14

Thanks Trying. No didn t mange to dtd last night as we were nt really talking and ds was ill. Might have a chance early tomorrow morning and then it ll be wed night.

Dr S has up the letrozole to 10mg next time and my lining was ok and at least another follicle was trying to grow so he seemed ok about it all so i think i m just being over emotional and need to pull myself together. Just arrived in a coffee shop and have ordered cake, so that should help (to hell with the gluten!).

Hope your day at work is going ok.

Tryingno1 · 29/06/2015 10:56

I'm sorry hula., it takes a few months with SO to get doses right etc. Did he suggest upping the dose next time?
I think sunny and rosa had one to begin with too...did u manage to DTD last night? If DTD today you will have it covered. I'm sorry ur deflated ;(
Hopefully one of the SO girls will give u some info as ive never done it before...
Ps on one of these pred threads I read of a lady called abbey-she was 40 plus. She had SO had no luck and then got preg the month of it and had a baby. There is always hope! It's only ur first month on it.

Hula2 · 29/06/2015 10:55

Seeking - sorry the hpt is still faint and your cycle is messing about, it s so frustrating when you just want to move on.

Trying- 4am wakeup, what a pain. I can sympathise as DS not well last night so slept in with him and had very broken sleep. All i can suggest for work is write everything you need to do down to account for the inevitable lack of short term memory that sleep deprivation causes.

Hula2 · 29/06/2015 10:41

Morning ladies,

Had scan, 1 dominant follicle, also a smaller one on otherside but not going to catch up in time. So feeling a bit deflated as basically no better than natural cycle. Also no cm so far and need to do trigger tonight plus dh is away tomorrow night so all shit timing. Maybe someones trying to tell me i just need to give up Sad. Sorry to be a downer.

Seekingmiracles · 29/06/2015 09:12

Yeah - it was just a random bleed. Just that morning really. Last time it was exactly 2 weeks before I had a neg test. So frustrating!!

Haven't got the puppy home yet. We just went to look at them yesterday and pick one They're only 4 weeks old, can't get him until he's 8 weeks.

Tryingno1 · 29/06/2015 08:16

Has ur bleeding stopped seeking? Don't worry it can take a good week weeks to go down, it's frustrating though. Can't draw a line under it can u,
How was first night with puppy??

Seekingmiracles · 29/06/2015 08:12

Hope your scan goes well today Hula!! Will be sending positivity your way!
My DH sounds the same as yours... I can't talk about the losses too much as he finds it hard. So with him I have to positive otherwise the whole situation seems even more shit.

Trying I did the same as you, deep breathing, meditations an praying. Sometimes it worked and I'd drifted off again... Others is lie there for hours!

Did a hpt this morning... STILL a very faint line! FFS! Angry 2 weeks exactly since eprc.

Tryingno1 · 29/06/2015 08:00

I've been up since 4am. Had back pain stressed all night about it. But think it was my misbehaving Bowels(sorry tmi). Not sure how to handle work and waking up so early-any tips or apps anyone used to help them drift
Off again? I've tried deep breathing, my headspace techniques and praying!

Hula good luck
X

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 22:13

I know, I think men are just so diff. My DH is wonderful, I feel so lucky to have him but he really is just different in his approach and thoughts to ttc and babies. It must be a woman biological instinct which turns us into mad ttc obssesed ladies! (Speaking for myself!)
Night
Seeking hope puppy doesn't keep u up at night!

Hula2 · 28/06/2015 22:07

Thanks for being the voice of reason Trying. I think its just so different for them it s often hard to be on the same wavelength.

Hope you sleep well, you re one more day closer.
Night x

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 21:59

(But obv not to the extent that it's really tearing u apart, but obviously u know that! Don't need marriage advice from me haha!) I just found that if I brough DH down it would be harder for me ultimately as I didn't like to see him sad. Also the fear of him saying enough is enough stopped me at times.
Night I'm so tired!

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 21:42

I found that sometimes hula. My DH didnt like to talk about the losses ALL the time, so sometimes I would bottle it up. It's almost like we have to be the stronger one so we don't upset them too much incase one day they go-actually im not doing it anymore. Which was a small fear I had as DH always said he wants kids but could be just happy with me travelling and exploring the world (I told him, sorry but I need
More in the nicest possible way!) Just deep breathe, rest up and try contain it. In the long term it's better for ur purist of Ttc.
Xxx

Hula2 · 28/06/2015 21:24

Thanks Trying. I just feel like a crazy hormonal mad woman sometimes and dh has said before that he s happy to try for another but not if it causes a load of stress on our relationship so i kinda of bottle it up which prob makes it worse. And yes can t say i relish pv scans and a part of me is also worried i might find its not working so thats prob playing a part too.

Wish i could fast forward these next few weeks for you. It s agonising how time can go so slow. I think distraction is all you can do. How nice would it be to be able to switch off your brain for a few hours (days/weeks !).

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 21:07

Ps hopefully when u see ur follicles tmrw it will spur u on a bit! It's imagine it's quite a satisfying feeling

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 21:06

Aw im sorry hula. It's so hard to DTD on command and keep up spirits when TTC all the time. It's so consuming.maybe it's a mixture of scan tmrw and the meds. Glad u have Acu booked after I hope u find her postive and helpful. Do u think u can seduce ur DH tonight or is it tmrw when u need to?!
I've realised I have complete scan fear even my ivf follicle scans I couldnt look at the screen and would lie there looking at the ceeling waiting for bad news. I always felt funny the day a scan-maybe that's contributing? Plus I'm quite used to dildo cam sadly - but it's never nice or dignified!

I'm not sure how I'm going to Survive till my next scan. Today felt like it was on pause! My boobs felt heavy yest, not so much today. Brain in overdrive. Praying hoping wishing! My dh is weirdly calm...

Will keep my fingers crossed for u hula, have a good sleep and hope u feel better tmrw. Xxx

Hula2 · 28/06/2015 20:51

Scan is at 10 then got acu at lunchtime to hopefully help things a long. Been feeling really tired and easily emotional today. Don t know if its anything to do with the drugs. Dh is back from being away with work and is also tired so we ve not been getting on this eve, makes me sometimes feel like i m the only one putting in the effort. Not sure how much more of this i can do.......sorry, i don t know what s wrong with me.

Trying good to hear work should provide a good distraction without being too busy.

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 18:14

Aw cute! Looking fwd to a pic seeking!

Hula lots of luck for tmrw-when is ur scan? Hope there's a good follicle or 2 in there ready to POP! Hope ur not feeling anxious.

I'm feeling totally normal. If I hadn't seen my 2 lines I wouldn't believe it. Must not worry over symptoms but can't help it! but I suppose it would be weird if I wasn't at least a little anxious after all of the last 2 years. Quite looking fwd go work this week, it's not a very busy week so hopefully a good balance. Should be booking in my next intralipd and scan tmrw.

Determined123 · 28/06/2015 17:02

Ahh congrats Sunny and Seeking on the new house and puppy!! All so exciting Smile

Good luck with SO hula...I tested it out with cheapies to make sure it was out of my system and know if it was real or not...

Waves to others xx

Seekingmiracles · 28/06/2015 12:58

I would avoid any kind of pressure points around the shoulder area, there is one that can induce labour later in pregnancy. Just gentle massage is fine though. And don't apologise- it's a worrying time after all we've all been through. You'll get through it, we'll be here to help though Smile

Chosen the puppy! Could have easily had about 3 of them!! Can't post a pic yet as I'm on my phone and have no internet at home yet. But will as soon as I do.

Hula2 · 28/06/2015 12:19

Seeking - congrats on your new house, hope it bring you much happiness and exciting about the puppy.

Trying - don t apologise, we re here to help you get thru these difficult weeks.

Tryingno1 · 28/06/2015 10:17

Hi seeking. Thanks for that! Where are the trigger points in the neck and upper back I should avoid? I suppose I can google it!
Well done for getting scrubbed in! And yay to the puppy. How cute! Hope u fall in love with it the moment u see it!
I'm stressing, this is going to be such a long few weeks. I pre apologise as I'm sure im going to go mental on this board over the next few weeks! I know worrying won't change anything and I keep telling myself I'm on the drugs , but it's not helping! SIGH

Seekingmiracles · 28/06/2015 08:03

Morning ladies!! Just popping on to say I'm so glad your scan went well Sunny Grin, so happy for you.
Trying - I'm a beauty therapist... A little massage is absolutely fine, it's the pressure and aromatherapy and pressure points you need to be careful of. But a light massage will do more good than harm.

We're in the new house. In a way it's a good job I'm not pregnant - the previous owners must have given up cleaning - I spent all of Friday evening and yesterday up to my armpits in bleach, limescale remover and other stinky cleaning stuff!!
Currently sat at Starbucks on the M4 en route to see the puppies!!!

Hope you all have a nice day, I'll read back through properly later. X

Tryingno1 · 27/06/2015 20:42

I had convinced myself my cycle hadn't work. Was so worried about the sperm etc. I think it's taken a few days to sink in this is real for now. Prob the anxiety and proper panic will now begin tmrw! My dH keeps walking in seeing me welled up on the sofa whilst an advert or location location is on! (Ive Lost the plot).
Yep it's meant to be crap but I'm intrigued!

sunnyday01 · 27/06/2015 20:22

Ha ha, I still haven't seen that!

I still can't believe im pregnant, feels so weird saying it!
