"Casually" TTC

TTC number 2, we've agreed to go ahead in a "let's just see whAt happens, no pressure" kind of way. so I'm casually charting my cycles with a fertility app, breezily checking my cervical mucous, nonchalantly scouring the conception board and definitely not compiling a list of names for dc2 Blush.
What is so frustrating is that because I'm "casually" charting all of this I know exactly when my fertile window is and keep bloody missing it because I don't want to give the game away and look like baby crazed monster! Last month my carefully timed advances were thwarted by a five-aside groin strain. I think today was the day and was planning a seduction after dd's bedtime but he announced he was off to his brothers for a bank holiday drink.
This is lighthearted and is not a problem with communication in my marriage. I think he felt the pressure last time and I'm really trying to keep this as relaxed as possible (for him) but that's just not my style.

Yay well done irritated!!

So AF was due this weekend and hasn't made an arrival yet BUT it's my first month since coming off the pill so I'm expecting things to be up in the air! The good news thought TMI ALERT my mucus plug from the mini pill came away yesterday! So hopefully I'm in full baby making order now! Just need AF to turn up so I know when it's baby dance time!

IrritatedPartyOf1 · 27/06/2015 17:04

Thanks spotted Smile Grin Smile

IrritatedPartyOf1 · 27/06/2015 17:03

amd137 I know a few people that wouldn't get a positive until they were 6 to 8 weeks. If AF doesn't arrive next week maybe ask you gp about a blood test?

spottedquoll · 27/06/2015 17:03

Congrats Irritated! Grin

IrritatedPartyOf1 · 27/06/2015 17:01

Bern TTC since February 2014 with no luck, i have a pretty regular period, im 10 days late, 2 neg tests with no signs of aunt flo showing up. There hasnt been any added stress etc that would cause a delay, quite confused. Really tired, headaches, frequent urination. Any ideas?

Alice1983 · 26/06/2015 22:48

Me in about 5 days. Not holding much hope though. Star

IrritatedPartyOf1 · 26/06/2015 20:00

Congratulations Shock!!
Anyone else close to testing?
AF is due tomorrow, planning on testing in the morning if she doesn't arrive.

Curly86 · 25/06/2015 22:42

Yay shock congratulations!!!

Kitkat my cycles were anything up to 55days when I TTC #1 I used agnus cactus and I went to a 30 day cycle by month 3 and that's the month I fell pregnant; I used the tincture instead of pills you use it until you ov then stop if I remember rightly

Chattymummyhere · 25/06/2015 16:30

Kitkat go to the doctors or just ride it out is the only advice really.

Angus oil I think it was is apparently good for helping to regulate periods never tried it though. I enjoy not having periods but I need them right now.

lexb14 · 25/06/2015 15:06

Alice1983 · 24/06/2015 23:17

Sorry, I haven't been on this thread for a while....still been casually using my Ovia Wink and noseying....on my TWW. Well, something really odd happened today. Maybe nothing to do with PG but wanted some advice please. I got woken up by the WORST headache ever, it actually woke me up! (Ive never had that before) then I was casually checking my boobs and this milky stuff came out (like watery milk, I only have had this once before with my last PG which ended in MC) so totally now panicking I did a PG Test (IC one) and it said Negative (a definite negative, no dodgy lines or evap or dodgy eyesGrin)...Ovia says I can take PG test in 9 days time...is this at all normal?

Shock123 · 24/06/2015 22:59

Yes can save it I will do a ic again in morn and post it see what you think and then I will save the fmu for the other tests I couldn't help myself I did one last one just there and same thing again xx

swazzle2000 · 24/06/2015 22:31

All this talk of tearing and incontinence is making me want to start taking my pill again!

Curly86 · 24/06/2015 22:22

I'm excited for you!! Can you save your first morning wee to do them? Hormone is supposed to be strongest then! And even if it's not all bells and whistles don't write it off there might not be enough yet for the test to pick up!

Shock123 · 24/06/2015 22:16

Yeah I will definitely be getting diff tests Tomorrow even if I have to buy one of each brand there is I will do baby dust n sticky bean ???????? thanks curly86 xxx

Curly86 · 24/06/2015 22:12

I used those little blue sticks with DS and got a neg but by the next morning I had a faint line I splashed out on a digi and got a pregnant 1-2 weeks, so maybe your a little bit pregnant but not enough to pick up as a big flashing all bells positive? Fingers crossed for you xx
