reni1 · 18/06/2015 23:53

Sorry, that should have been fridge

reni1 · 18/06/2015 23:53

Flourishing, do you ovulate at the "regulation" cd14? I do cd9-14, very unpredictable, so never tried SMEP, might be too late to catch the egg. Also, do you give dh a schedule? I kind of do, long term ttc is weird.

Fridgedooropen · 18/06/2015 23:00

Yes reni, or trying to, anyway! About to haul DH off to bed for the second night running. Best of luck flourishing!

reni1 · 18/06/2015 22:27

Are you doing SMEP, fridge? Enjoy all the action, flourishing.

FlourishingMrs · 18/06/2015 20:22

Positive solid smiley at last. Wish us luck.

Still flashing smiley on day 17,this is frustrating. Sneaked in BD this afternoon but has to go back into the office. felt the swimmers leaking out. We did take a shower. I take it this session won't count.

We managed day 8 and then a gap through being exhausted, till last night which was day 13 when I got a positive OPK. So plan is tonight again, then DH is away Friday night so then Saturday. Then I'm away till Tuesday so will be then next time. This month is a bit tricky. Hopefully that might be enough.

reni1 · 18/06/2015 01:19

First ones arrive after an hour, last ones after 12h. Live for a couple of days. Ovulation anywhere between 24 and 48 hours after static Smile so get going and keep going Wink .

FlourishingMrs · 18/06/2015 01:09

It's flashing smiley on CB, day 16, hope the solid comes today.how long do swimmers take to get to the egg?

DareGreatly · 16/06/2015 15:16

Still, good going reni! Wink

reni1 · 16/06/2015 09:55

Dare our eod is also more of a plan than reality. We do manage at least every third day, but I think we wouldn't had we not said eod.

DareGreatly · 16/06/2015 08:09

Ha! That's a good analogy Flourishing Grin

FlourishingMrs · 16/06/2015 00:31

Oh Dare, you are not getting on at all, just make sure you have some preseed to hand when you are not feeling up to it once you get started you will get In the mood and have fun.

It's like the washing up, once you start you get it done...

Hi all

CD9 here. I am envious of your daily and even EOD attempts flourishing and reni. We used to be able to do that no probs but we've turned into a once or twice a week couple, eek! Though do manage more in the hopefully fertile window. It's not enough really, but DH and I getting on!

reni1 · 15/06/2015 14:23

Continue after Wednesday, flourishing, ov can happen up to 36-48 h after static smile. Mine is usually 2 days after. We are not doing as well as I'd hoped with our eod attempt, but haven't ovulated yet, so still in with a chance.

FlourishingMrs · 14/06/2015 21:03

How are you doing ladies, day 12 Dpo here, DTD Friday night, Sunday Am and DP is away tomorrow. Flashing smiley on CB. Expecting positive Opk tomorrow or Tuesday. When is the best time to BD. Tuesday night or Wed Am?

OP posts:
FlourishingMrs · 10/06/2015 19:31

I was going to start every other day today but bad day at work and DP is away until tomorrow. So will start tomorrow. I am on day 8/9 today.

Will try daily and have Monday off then daily until after opk. Then EOD until the end.

CD7. Started our eod for the month yesterday. Will try to stick to it until AF is in town or +HPT I hope. I'm no spring chicken, so we'll see if I manage. Dh is quietly optimistic. Youth and fertility is truly wasted on the young, how worried about unwanted pregnancies I was those many years!

FlourishingMrs · 08/06/2015 23:17

Maybe I should sell DP's bike

Hi guys! Just wanted say that I know it's hard trying for a baby and not conceiving quickly. We're also trying for #2 and had gone through 2 mc since November. Strangely after my first mc I got pregnant again after my first af.
You mentioned not much ewcm. Well.... I'm almost 37 and after my 2nd mc I can say I don't have as much ewcm either. We use pre seed to help the swimmers.

My ovulation day changed as well so I'm using opk this month to pinpoint it better. I had a faint second line ob cd7,8 9 and none on cd10 but came darker today so we dtd every other day to improve chances.
Started on maca root both of us so hope it helps. Also eating all sorts of food that helps ttc. What more can we do? :)
Sticky dust to you all!

DareGreatly · 07/06/2015 14:47

Thanks Reni. You're right. Six months isn't all that in the scale of things. I just wish my AF was looking a bit healthier. I must be struggling to build up a good lining at the moment, with such scant periods. Am considering making a dietary change this month to see if that helps. Keep talking the talk about trying a no dairy, no gluten month, but so far, it's just been talk!

Keeping chin up though. Back in the saddle etc.

Commiserations fridge. Onwards and upwards.

reni1 · 07/06/2015 11:03

Commiserations, fridge. New month, new attempt. Dare, I get the "we have left it too late" panic every month with AF. Most women I know well enough to ask took a year to conceive, even when much younger, but they did end up with babies, and you will, too I hope.

This month we will try EOD from end of AF til AF or +HPT, that's what we did when I did get pregnant resulting in a baby, admittedly 7 years ago. Stuff this timing of DTD. At it like rabbits is the order of the day.

Fridgedooropen · 06/06/2015 22:55

Slinking back in to say AF got me yesterday. Day 27 of this cycle. Hmph. Commiserations to everyone in the same boat.

DareGreatly · 06/06/2015 22:37

(Sorry - probably the prosecco talking.)
