Flourishing - I know! I even took the morning after pill once when I was about 33....thinking now that I really needn't have bothered Hmm

Re baby juice Smile.....DH has had his swimmers tested and they seemed fine. I'm waiting for results of my Day 21 test now, but don't have an appointment till August.

Reni I haven't tried charting yet... Should I be?

FlourishingMrs · 13/07/2015 18:44

Thank you Reni, I suppose I am over analysing why it's not happening. Have you ladies made sure your boys are producing the correct baby juice?

Start avoiding the gym once it gets too hard, maybe 7 month into the pregnancy Grin ? No, don't stop.

FlourishingMrs · 13/07/2015 10:50

To think my first DC was a one off split condom! Now I have to go through hoops TTC.

All that stress over a missed pill and really it's not that easy to get pregnant. All those morning after pill people are taking. Soooo frustrating

Thanks Reni, won't be trying head stands then. How about the gym ladies. Avoid?

No, flourishing, handstands are not necessary as long as you take the pillow from under your head and place it under your bum Wink . Really, I too have been tempted to publish my FF temperature chart, stopped not so much to protect privacy but because I would then stress about responses and I have enough to fret about as is.

FlourishingMrs · 13/07/2015 00:09

Well done Reni and Really, we are doing pretty well on the SMEP, so well that now I think daily is a bit too much, DP is pleased with his positive home fertility test and wants to DTD even more...

This TTC is crazy business. .. I ovulate on days 16-18 so still a week to go.

Should will do head stands or take a day off work after positive OPK?

Ha Smile It is a bit bonkers.

Reni I was actually considering posting my Ovia calendars and asking the interwebs what it thought of our DTD frequency and was it enough?

Then thought this might be a betrayal of our personal life, even though my existence here is totally anonymous (I hope).

Good going on your 'activity' so far!

reni1 · 12/07/2015 19:45

Cd12, I think ovulation was on cd10, tomorrow's temp should confirm. Good effort so far dtd, did o-4, o-2, o-1 and o+1. Exhausted already Grin .

Ttc is just weird, go on the internet, record temp every day, post every twinge and tell the world about your sex life and/or cm. Best bit is, this seems a perfectly sensible thing to do Hmm . Shoot me now. How are you all getting on?

ReallyNotAMorningPerson · 11/07/2015 14:29

Flourishing do home sperm count tests exist?!

FlourishingMrs · 10/07/2015 18:51

Thank you, relieved to have clear blood results. We also did a home swimmers check last night. The old boy is still game...

Maybe my eggs are such Diva's and his swimmers won't beg. How an we intrude them and get them to join up.

That is some comfort Smile I'll deffo try SMEP this cycle. Wish me luck!!

reni1 · 10/07/2015 09:42

As I said, Really, EOD is a statement of intent rather than reality Wink . We tend to manage until ovulation, then slack off a little. My cycle is typically 26 days, minus 4 days AF, so 11x, I really hope we'll manage this month.

ReallyNotAMorningPerson · 10/07/2015 08:52

Whoops

ReallyNotAMorningPerson · 10/07/2015 08:52

Great news about normal bloods Flourishing.

ReallyNotAMorningPerson · 10/07/2015 08:51

Envy at EOD (I must stop this)

FlourishingMrs · 09/07/2015 23:28

Well ladies, blood results normal, no further action, got a home simmers check. Doing that tonight.

Yes Reni, loving the calendar this month.EOD is Christmas for DP. Starting day 10 due to home swimmers check

Ha that would please me too reni Smile am a geek

Today is CD 6 for me. DH away till Monday so will be starting CD 10. Honestly you are so lucky EOD for 2 weeks solid. Those sorts of days are behind us!

Fridge thanks for extra tips on SMEP - I missed those earlier.

reni1 · 09/07/2015 11:51

I like the fact that calendar day = cycle day this month.

reni1 · 09/07/2015 11:49

We have started frisky week on the cd6. I am on cd9 and ovulate between cd9 and 14. Will try again with eod all month until AF or bfp.

FlourishingMrs · 08/07/2015 22:50

Hey ladies, are you ready for next week?

OP posts:
Fridgedooropen · 05/07/2015 11:36

The three days in a row is about maximising chances at peak fertility time. But if you're someone for whom it helps to have sperm waiting around for an egg, if you've been DTD every other day leading up to this then you've covered both bases. And yes, think the day off is to give you, him and his swimmers a breather before the final go!

Fridgedooropen · 05/07/2015 11:34

Sorry, yes, that's a typo! It should be DTD every other day starting from day 8, then go to 3 days in a row when you get a positive OPK. (Note: this can if you're unlucky result in 4 days in a row Shock)

The last day is about covering yourself in case your ovulation is late for some reason, I believe. I tried hard to cover this, even though I was tired by then, last few months as when we conceived DS I'd been really ill for a lot of the month and had only done it on days 18 and 21, yet somehow conceived Hmm so I can only assume that my body delayed ovulation that month because of my illness. So it can happen.

ReallyNotAMorningPerson · 05/07/2015 08:59

(Is that one last day just insurance I guess, and the break is to - well - give you a break to manage that one last time!)

ReallyNotAMorningPerson · 05/07/2015 08:57

Thanks Fridge, I'll definitely be trying it! By DTD from Day 8 onwards though, do you mean every other day?

I can say now that DH would not manage every day Blush.

And just out of interest, post positive OPK, what's the rationale behind DTD three days, break, then one last day, do you know?
