June BFP anyone?

I'm 8dpo and reaching for the IC's...

Someone please remind me how stupidly early this is to test... AF is due in 6 days!

Has anyone ever had a positive this early?

I'm properly grumpy about it Flat. And I really want an afternoon nap. If I hadn't had a BFN on 12 dpo and then a bleed I'd honestly think I was pregnant.

Is it possible to update my BFN for the 10th June carrot I think my next test date is around 9th July (trying not to pin it down to exactly)

chill my af has been totally different from coming off the pill. I think I am still settling down now a year later but I am still ovulating every month - just differs each month so I do have to use ov sticks and temp to work out whats happening.

Thanks CarrotVan think I am going to have to start temping and trying to figure my body out. No idea if I've ovulated, certainly no EWCM so that's not a great sign. I need to have patience!

Carrot - your tsunami comment made me laugh! Sorry about the weird AF. I've had period pains for well over a week, but actually only had bleeding on one day?! Total madness.

Itsme - men are so silly! What did he think those other months were about?! He he. My DH started saying we've only really been trying for 2 months, because we'e only had 2 months where we threw a shag in the day after ovulation. I know he's only trying to cheer me up, but what a numpty !

Are you ovulating? You could temp or use opks to try and work it out. It can take a few months to settle after coming off the pill I understand and it might not be the same cycle as pre-pill

Any tips on how to kick start things after coming off the pill?! I had one 41 day cycle and I'm now on 44 days with no sign of AF and no BFP. I have found myself in limbo and it's really concerning! Any advice gratefully received...

Violet 3Princes it's seems like I'm on the same path as you, trying to hold off poas again until 18th after having another BFN yesterday on a frer.

It's my 3rd cycle on clomid ttc2, it's the same cycle number that I caught with dc1, and I'm flitting between all hope is lost this month to I'm still in with a chance!

Princes I guess that would depend on when implantation happened as to whether it would show on a frer or not 2 days before AF due? I've read it can happen as late as day 11/12, so if it was that late it definitely wouldn't be showing up yet. We shall both have to wait till tomorrow/wednesday and see!! I don't usually get any signs of AF coming until minutes before she comes, so I'm clueless at this point. Sorry for bfn Weechops hope you have a good holiday anyway and AF doesn't get you. Can't you buy any tests where you are incase your resolve breaks and you use your remaining test before Friday? x

For reasons I don't understand AF has ground to a halt after 3 days (spotting, tsunami, light flow) and instead I appear to be peeing like a dray horse. WTAF

10dpo and I just tested - BFN. I only brought 2 tests on holiday with me so I'm going to try to hold out for Friday if af hasn't shown up by then.

I've stopped counting cycle numbers! It's been about 18 months but to be fair we've had some really busy months so it's just never going to happen then. I doubt I am this month in all honesty but I'm on day 26 and I average 25. My boobs feel like rocks and have done for over a week, and this normally goes as my period is due to arrive. I slept for 2 hours on saturday evening and I never nap but then I had a terrible nights sleep last night, I just didn't sleep at all or that's how it felt.

I'm also roasting hot all the time. Cannot regulate my temp. Who knows. It's not over till AF arrives so we shall see. I always stay quietly optimistic.

Its strange isn't it - when you make the officially trying phrase, my DH thinks we have only been 'trying' since Christmas (since I have become much more focused on ttc!) but he completely seems to forget the year and half before that were we used zero contraception and were 'seeing how it goes'

flat well it didnt bloody work - so not an awful lot

Although I have just back dated all my data from my ovuapp onto fertility friend and it has highlighted to me that 2 months I totally missed ovulation, 2 months were okish chances and the only month where I good a good score for getting upduffed was the SMEP cycle. So at 25% chance of getting pregnant when doing it at the correct time I guess I would have been lucky to get a bfp this month. Doesn't suck any less though.

I have come of contraception since last July though but we were not officially trying until January. Still thought something would have happened by now.

I totally agree about the drinking thing. I have loads of work events/office parties throughout July, so this is the one and only benefit of apparently not being able to get pregnant!x

I've stocked up on my cbfm sticks and got the themometer ready for the morning - but I am not watching dates too carefully - have no idea when I need to test in July (im sure that will become apparent with the next few weeks) but Im trying not to obsess to much

At least if I get af this cycle I have 3 weekends of drinking planned in July :-)
