June BFP anyone?

pulp booze is the worst for your weight isn't it! I stopped drinking in the week as of 1st jan and have lost 1st 4lbs so far, no other changes to diet. Actually that's a lie, I substituted booze for chocolate in the 1st couple of months too. It's coming off slowly but surely without even dieting, this 2ww should help me drop another 2-3lbs hopefully so if I do get by bfn at least I'll weigh less!

Vap0 I'm not drinking during my 2ww, nor have I in the previous 5 cycles' 2ww. Won't lie.. there are some months when AF shows up and all I can think "oh thank the gods now I can have a pint". Of course, my other reason for cutting back on the drink is that those ales that I love are full of calories and cutting that out seems an easy way to shed a few pounds.

But now I've replaced ale with chocolate, so whole thing is a wash.

Morning ladies. Can anyone help with all the acronyms? I'm new to this and have worked some out but still stumped on most. I've just been booted off the May bus, maybe a chemical pregnancy as I did test positive but couple of days later I was negative, then bleeding :( x

Well 4 DPO here. Not feeling anything symptom wise as yet. Should I be, I guess to soon. Wish this tww wait would hurry up

I know loads of people drink without knowing about being pregnant and it doesn't seem to do them any harm but I've been waiting so long for this that I'm not taking any chances....

Good plan vap0! I'm drinking, right now in fact, but I don't feel like I've ovulated yet. After a mmc earlier this year I do feel a bit more cautious - I don't think drink made a difference, but all the cold and flu drugs I took in between a negative and positive might have. So think once I feel the boobs go and get all warm I'll lay off the booze for a couple of weeks. Haven't worked out when I'm due to test, but did work out that if I manage it this month my due date will be Valentine's day

I had the depo too and heard horror stories (too late) so switched to the pill around 6 months before ttc. Didn't cause any problems for me, so fingers crossed for those who have just come off it.

flat does AF make a regular appearance? Have you tested for ovulation? If those things are in place the depo will be out of your system. Some people are lucky and it is gone a week after the last jab wears off. Others are unlucky and it can take up to 2 years, possibly even longer...

Anyone else not drinking in their 2ww? It's my 1st time not drinking in the 2ww as I think we have the best chance this month because I actually ovulated and managed to have well timed sex. 3 bottles of prosecco calling my name in the fridge. If I do get my BFP I'll be able to sell them on in the summer for 3 times the value - if the daily mail is to be believed. Haha!

Yes it is all you think about chill. Day in day out. It will happen for you though so just stay positive and try to relax, easier said than done I know. Fx for June bfp for everyone.

Definitely Rachelc82! I am trying to distract myself with other things/life/work but....it's all so unpredictable and emotional so you end up thinking about it a lot! My bloke is not really in to talking....unless he absolutely has to, very different to me!

I am sure that June will be the lucky month for all of us, sunshine and pinot grigio blush are on their way trying not to panic at news of global prosecco shortage!

Wellcome chill. Yes all gets a bit stressful. You should find the support and understanding your looking for here. I did, best thing I did as was making myself crazy having no one to talk to about it only DP. Men are not always the best at understanding as much as we love them lol

Hello ladies, can I join in please? I literally need to chill the f**k out, hoping to steal all your wisdom! I was on a previous bus but fell right off it... so my stats:
31 ttc #1 cycle 2 bfp due middle of June some time... not sure exactly as I have irregular periods and only came off the pill in March so don't yet know if I have even ovulated

Can I join? I've been lurking for a while but never posted before. We've been 'not not trying' for ages but that hasn't got us anywhere so this is officially the first month that we're ttc.

TTC cycle 3 can I join the club?

Vap that's really worrying. Have things gone back to normal now? I was also on depo for 10 years so am now really worried...

Flatwhite I work at a university library. Yes, that seems vague enough. It'll be a lot of busy administrative work, which is good for me because I bore easily when there's nothing happening and all my tasks are done.

Me too! TTC #1, cycle 3-ish. I went off the pill in January, so haven't had a proper cycle since, but feel like it's finally settling down. On CD17, so will be testing in 10 days or so?
glam I use Ovia too - find it has become more helpful after a few months, it's a bit annoying inputting data everyday but now I'm used to it. I've only been temping so far, no OPKs.

flat I didn't ovulate for 19 months after my depo injection wore off, so actually 22 months after last jab. I was on it for 10 years. Never again.

glam there is a good app called ovia, it's free but does require a couple of months of data to start giving you relevant dates. Other than that buy some opk's from amazon. You could temp also or instead of opk's?

Me! TTC #2 cycle 1..

Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere where I can find out info on how I know whether I'm ovulating?? This is all new to me and this month we've just guestimated based on a period tracker app I've been using since November.

It's been a little stressful already. I promised myself I wouldn't get too caught up in it but I can't stop thinking about it and DTD has already become all about the baby making which has made it difficult to get in the mood!

I've had such a shit week. Really got my hopes up last month as everything was perfectly timed etc and I had loads of symptoms...then AF came...then I needed an emergency doctor's appointment and it looks like I may have endometriosis. From looking at Google obsessively (which I know is naughty) it looks like this has a huge effect on fertility . I now feel completely hopeless about the whole thing .
