This is cycle #3 TTC for me. I really hoping this will be my month. Who's with me?

Good luck for test day Carlton. I can't wait for my test day. I think my nipples feel more sensitive than normal Shock

Carltonlives · 31/05/2015 20:49

Hey everyone! Hope you all had good stress free weekends.

So sorry for those af got. She really sucks man :-(

pingoose sorry for temp drop - you aren't out just yet though

mynameis sorry to hear of your mc. Good luck for Thursday!

keys sorry to hear of your mc. I hope this is your month

louwn I think feeling down is quite normal for ttc but sometimes you know in yourself if you need to take a step back. Hope you're okay

flatwhite you sound like you're having a tough time atm too. Do the doctors have a plan to help you?

I swear my boobs feel heavier than usual. I could, on the other hand, be imagining it. It's very hard to tell. 5 days til test day!!

FlatWhiteToGo · 31/05/2015 20:00

Awww Rach I'm so sorry. Lots of hugs and Flowers. It's unbelievably miserable when AF comes, especially if you had got your hopes up. The only slight positive (and I know this is clutching at straws) is that you had 2 days less of agonising/symptom spotting and you have started the next cycle more quickly. I'm wishing you lots of luck. I'm also sending hugs and luck to everyone else who has had AF (Louwn and everyone else). Onwards and upwards!

Suz - I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I can only imagine what that must feel like, so do give yourself plenty of time to recover (both mentally and physically). Try not to worry about the age difference as it really does not matter in the overall scheme of things (although I know it sucks when you have plans and dreams for how things SHOULD work out). There are certainly advantages to having a wider age difference - less arguing and competing for one Smile!!!

Louwn - I'm sorry you feel so down today. Is there any reason in particular or is it just the heartache of getting your hopes up and getting excited and then AF coming and crushing all that excitement? If so, then pretty much ALL of us know exactly what you're going through and we're here whenever you want to have a little vent Smile. It really is a horrible process when you're ready to have a baby and it doesn't seem as though it will happen anytime soon - especially as it feels like everyone else on the planet falls pregnant as soon as they hold hands with their OH. Why do you feel all over the place about it?

Wish - very long story short (because I've already given a monologue on it earlier in this thread so don't want to hog the sympathy) but it looks as though I may have endometriosis and I've probably had it for quite some time. Depending on how severe it is, it can drastically reduce your chances of getting pregnant. I've had 5 cycles of giving it EVERYTHING and I do everything "right" (e.g. don't really drink, don't smoke, not overweight, exercise loads, changed the "bad" things in my life like drinking caffeine etc), so had thought I'd fall pregnant within a couple of months. Anyway, every month AF has come, even though some months I was CERTAIN I was pregnant because I had so many symptoms. While this has been going on (and for quite a while before TTC) I've had quite a few other symptoms which have been incredibly painful so saw a GP, who immediately said that it's likely to be endo and that one of the symptoms of endo is infertility. As a result of this I feel totally shattered...BUT it does at least mean the TWW won't be as emotionally draining Smile. As for temping, I enjoy it (I think because the thermometer is pink and white and I'm won over by its prettiness), but I've woken up in 5 different places this month alone (for work - I'm not just being promiscuous) and can wake any time between 4am (gross) and 6:30am so there's just no way of checking things consistently Sad. I also don't really get CM, so that's quite hard to monitor...

Rachelc82 · 31/05/2015 19:02

Well Af came 2 days early (today) ??. A bottle of wine chilling for this evening. Onwards and upwards on to cycle 11 of ttc ?? hoping to get my lucky month soon.

louwn · 31/05/2015 18:15

Felt really down and upset today, which is stupid as its our first time trying. I think that I am not quite emotionally ready for all this TTC business to be honest because it upset me so much. Might wait a while til I feel a bit less all over the place about it.

MyNameIsSuz · 31/05/2015 15:44

Sorry to hear that keys. We waited one period to try again, I'm glad we did as I needed it really for my body to get back to normal. So this is month two really. Fingers crossed!

keys27 · 31/05/2015 10:38

suzi Oh hun so sorry I lost mine at 13 weeks 2 weeks ago today so I know how much you've hurt. Big hugs. Did you have a few months break TTC? Or did you go straight back in?
I think a first response would give you a faint line on thursday if you were but everyone is different and with my first DD I didn't get a line until the day AF was due I ovulated late.
I think you get a feeling in your heart if you are or not.

I had a bleed friday and saturday and I am unsure if its end of mc or a small af i have no idea I have the horrible taste in my mouth and sore boobies so I think my body is playing tricks on me.
I am due to test on 14th and got a line on ovulation stick today and getting the ovulation show so fingers crossed. I am not going rushing things as my body is so tired :( I think when I lost baby my heart just wanted to get pregnant again and when I got my bleed OH thinks I was pushing my body and to relax this month but of course I am still hoping to get a bfp this month as when we dtd it is unprotected.
Try not to feel to pressured but I know how hard that it hun the more pressure you put on your body the less chance you have to fall. I am very lucky I have two DD's 5 and 2 so this will be my last now and would love the age gap also.
I will be keeping everything crossed for you hun. Looking forward to hearing your update. I think your next in line to test.

carrot That's what I had the sparkling water and also like ginger ale but sparkling water with lime pieces in it was my drink.

Heres hoping we all stay together and move over to the pregnancy page very soon :).

MyNameIsSuz · 31/05/2015 08:53

I hope so keys! Due on the 6th, so a week today, but reckon I could get away with testing on Thursday.

I think I am probably imagining symptoms, I never get lots of symptoms anyway and am possibly just extra aware of my boobs rather than them actually feeling more tender than usual, iyswim.

I think I'm feeling time pressure now - I was pregnant earlier this year which ended at 13 weeks, there would have been 3 years between ds and that one which I was very happy with. I just can feel that gap getting bigger and bigger. Next month will mean a 3.5 year gap, more than that feels huge.

CarrotVan · 31/05/2015 08:50

I had no problem not drinking during pregnancy - I drink a lot of sparkling water with angostura bitters instead though. And ate lots of kit kats

keys27 · 31/05/2015 07:46

louwn Im so sorry huni hope you had a lovely evening and yes defo in the June bus still hun. Gl for the end of the month.

suz I really hope that is a sign for you hun. When are you due to test? Be interesting if cat was right.

sarah I used to like a drink but when you fall pg your mummy instincts kick in and once you become a mummy you have no time to drink lol lucky if you get a coffee in of a morning.

wish Oh thats good hun at least your away for the 2ww I wish I had something to take my mind off of things. I would say I will hold off to the 15th as well but I dont think I will have the will power lol. Even though weve back off from dtd. I still am hoping.

louwn · 31/05/2015 07:40

Thanks ladies. Fingers crossed for June BFPs for us all! At least means I can have a drink at the social events pre 2ww without guilt! :)

pingoose · 31/05/2015 07:22

Sorry louwn! Definitely means you can have a drink and some cake.

Don't think this will be my month - BBT dropped this morning, which my app helpfully tells me is not a sign of pregnancy. AF due Thursday.

Anyone testing today?

MyNameIsSuz · 31/05/2015 00:13

Sorry to hear that Lou, as you say the month hasn't even begun yet!

Wish, it should definitely be added to the list! You should have seen her, it was the kind of attention i get when she hasn't been fed for a few hours, really forceful 'looooove meeeeee'. She was like it when I was pg with my boy.

wishiwaspregnant · 30/05/2015 23:46

Sorry for AF louwn crack open the wine! That's always a good consolidation prize. I always have a bottle chilling on day i POAS!
keys yes we will be POAS buddies this month! I'm away until the 15th though so will hold off until I'm back if AF has not arrived in the mean time. DH has hidden my last 2 tests so I don't get the urge lol.
suz I wonder if we can add 'fearce cat love' to our symptoms list (not that we are symptom spotting or anything!) gotta love the cats! My cat alway give me loads of love so I'm not sure if I'd notice! Lol

louwn · 30/05/2015 23:25

AF here. Will stay on June bus as this was actually May!

Sarah563 · 30/05/2015 23:04

I was really worried about the prospect of having to give up alcohol when i get pregnant, as I've always been one who likes a drink on a night out or at home, stems from university days. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to stop the desire to drink when I did finally fall pregnant, and I know how damaging alcohol can be to the developing foetus (foetal alcohol syndrome etc) so I decided to read a fantastic book called "Alan Carr - Easy way to give up Alcohol". I'd read Alan Carr's book which made me stop smoking four years ago. After reading the book I easily stopped drinking; I've not drank booze since mid March and don't miss it at all. My friends haven't minded me not drinking, cos they understand we are TTC; I've discovered you can still go out and socialise and you don't need alcohol to relax or de-stress. Thoroughly recommend the book.

louwn · 30/05/2015 22:25

I had one tonight (a really good one, pornstar martini). Just waiting for AF to come now so can start again!

keys27 · 30/05/2015 21:05

Totally agree enjoy the alcohol we never know when we are going t total for 12 months if you include breast feeding lol maybe more.

No hun lol my cat is on my lap as we speak hope its a sign lol xx

MyNameIsSuz · 30/05/2015 20:58

Soooo... although I don't feel pregnant, my cat is giving me some really fierce love. Anyone else? She totally knew before I did last time.

I think you're right to be having the odd drink Lou, might be your last chance!

keys27 · 30/05/2015 17:54

Hi sarah goodluck for a bfp this month :).

wish I wish I knew hun. I had my d+c 2 weeks ago tomorrow been dtd every other night up to a few days ago when I started to bleed heavy again :( but was told it wernt AF just the end of the mc. So OH told me to have a break this month and try again next month let my body heal and not go in heart first if that makes sense. I did get a positive on ovulation test but realized I was doing wrong and soaking the the stick pmsl so I think I was getting false positives as today was negative.
I should be testing on 14th on June and will if AF dont arrive but as I am in my wtf cycle I have no idea if or when I wll ovulate. Hubby away on thursday until monday so if ts happened I am hoping its happened already.

If you have a negative hun 24 hours will be just fine:) just let him get through the door first lol. As for increased EWCM I cant advise you hun as I have never really taken vits.
Fingers crossed for you hun imagine your testing will be around same time as mine? xx

louwn · 30/05/2015 17:16

It was me wish. AF due today, not arrived, but BFN. Thanks for advice keys. Still not sure whether to drink or not...have had cycles up to 31 days since I came off the pill so could just be a longer one maybe but I'd have thought it would have been a positive by now if I was actually pg, so may have a glass of wine or two!

wishiwaspregnant · 30/05/2015 16:27

Where do I find a link to the stats? I forgot my age... 34.
Yay for everyone moving across to the June bus! The sun is meant to be out for most of June so let's hope the heat wave helps us all with a BFP!!!
Flat why zero hope this month? Is the temping doing your head in? I know it's not for everyone? The only advice I can give us to try vaginal temping? But it's not for everyone.
keys when are you due to test lovely?
Can't remember who was asking about drinking? I'm not punishing myself anymore... Not obviously getting drunk but I'm allowing myself to have the odd cheeky glass of vino!
So more EWCM for me today... But phew another negative opk. Got 24 hours now until DH is back! I'm hoping he is in time?!
Taking epo this month which might be the reason for the increased EWCM? Also vit b6, complex, and agnus castus (until I OV) what's everyone else doing this month? Anything different?

Sarah563 · 30/05/2015 15:44

Hello about time I moved from the May bus to June since my BFP is due on 13 June. Carrot can I join your bus please. Age 35, TTC 1, Cycle 9 Grin

CarrotVan · 30/05/2015 14:33

Rachel implantation can happen anywhere from 6-12 days after ovulation with 8-9dpo the most common. So given the variability of ovulation dates, and the variability of implantation dates, it's a wonder anyone can work out anything! And after implantation it takes awhile for the hcg to build up enough to show on a test

keys27 · 30/05/2015 14:16

louwn It wont hurt having a little drink hun if you were pg the egg and yolk protects baby until the placenta takes over so it dont really take in much in the early stages from you, your be fine hun. But everyone is different some people dont drink at all others dont even know there pg and go on the town and are like 6-7 weeks pg.
Hope you have a lovely night hun.
