This is cycle #3 TTC for me. I really hoping this will be my month. Who's with me?

Hi all

TTC #2 Cycle 2

AF came today and she's a bitch. Mentally feel like crap. Got preggo by one hit wonder with DD and so this 'BFN' situation is new to me and I wholeheartedly sympathise with those that are lots of cycles down the line! I feel so bratty to feel disappointed after just one cycle when I know there are so many couples who have been trying for years! Whinge and self pitying will be limited to this post only.

Oh well, ovulation calendar consulted, 'highly fertile' on the 19th so lets go again! Due to test 29th June so right at the end for me!

Love to you all and hopefully lots of BFP's (I like these) for everyone.

keys27 · 04/06/2015 11:58

wee Can I ask did you ever get a negative pg test when you conceived straight away and could you tell whether or not you were ovulating?
All cheap pg tests are negative clearblue wont shift from pg 1-2 weeks 3 weeks after the d+c but all others are negative. My hcg level is under 5 when they took bloods a week ago yesterday so I am confused as to why that test is saying pg 1-2weeks. I know its impossible to get a positive now I am worried of things being left over from my d + c 3 weeks ago. I have researched loads of sites to see how long people got a bfn after mc.

mrs It will go quick thank god its finally summer everything always feels better when the sun is shining :). Gl for a quick month and a bfp.

CarrotVan · 04/06/2015 11:55

Sorry for the AF, suz

I'll update you weechops - my partner has never worked away before and we both currently work condensed hours so the boy has fewer days in nursery and that will need to change. Big adjustments all round if he's successful

Mrs1986 · 04/06/2015 11:34

You're all so lovely and supportive! I am cd6 - this bit is boring!!

weechops · 04/06/2015 11:32

Sorry for the bfn suz

carrot I totally understand what it's like to have a partner working away. Some months it's so shit because you don't even get to try! Fx you get upduffed soon. (And if you're updating stats later, could you change me from cycle 4 to cycle 1 plz, ttc baby 4 Grin )

For the wtf cycles - after my first mc I conceived straight away the next month, and the second mc my wtf cycle seemed to get me into a regular 28 day cycle!

Good luck to anyone testing soon

keys27 · 04/06/2015 10:40

Im so sorry hun. New cycle now hun fresh start. Keep your chin up hard I know and good luck for a beginning of July bfp itsnot that far away xx

MyNameIsSuz · 04/06/2015 10:24

Boo, I'm out, period is here!

keys27 · 04/06/2015 09:43

carrot You got such a lovely red line when ovulating your in for such a good chance. I am so sorry to hear about mrvan and his job its hard enough the OH being away as it is let alone when your trying. Fx for you and stay away from them pg tests (says me the worst person ever addicted to peeing on sticks). I am in my wft cycle but going by what doctors said about d+c being first day of AF I am now 6dpo as well. Weird I have a weird feeling tummy as well but mine are nerves I think. I think you always get a feeling dont you whether or not its your month.

Fx for all testing sorry to hear about your bfn ping :(.

We are defo due a positive this weekend good luck guys.

I really dont think this is my month got very strong AF pains think its going to hit me early :(. On a positive at least I will have my first cycle since mc.

CarrotVan · 04/06/2015 09:21

FX for pulpi, heathu, carlton, Suz and southy - all testing soon according the stats

Sorry to hear that so many of our early June testers are out of the running

pingoose · 04/06/2015 08:49

BFN for me this morning, fully expecting AF today sometime. Well, hoping for it anyway, as it would mean I'm finally back to a proper cycle after stopping the pill in January. Just want it over and done with now so we can get back to trying next cycle!
Good luck to anyone else testing today!

MyNameIsSuz · 04/06/2015 08:25

Oh sorry to hear about your mc. I had one too back in March, laid off ttc in April as I still felt funny, then back to it last month. My wtf cycle was actually pretty accurate! I hear you're more fertile post-mc, so fingers crossed for both of us.

CarrotVan · 04/06/2015 07:58

I'm not due to test until a week on Sunday and given this is my WTF cycle post MC I'm going to hold off as long as possible.

So if I mention going anywhere near a pregnancy test in the next two weeks sit on me

MyNameIsSuz · 04/06/2015 07:56

Sorry to hear that carrot, I'm exactly the same. Various things which could be pregnancy symptoms but could just as easily be signs of impending period - bit bloated, lightheaded, also spotty, very tired...

Due to test on Sunday but think I won't be able to resist testing as soon as my Amazon test delivery arrives. Not holding out an awful lot of hope.

CarrotVan · 04/06/2015 07:54

Don't leeeeeave us thunder. But sorry about AF

birchy wait until you're back - you don't want an early BFN to upset your time away

I'll add newbies when I get to a proper PC. Updating anything on a tablet is a pain

MrVan is interviewing for a job that will have him away 40% of the time so I'd like this to work sooner rather than when he's actually on the road.

CarrotVan · 04/06/2015 07:48

So in theory, assuming I ovulated the day after my positive OPK, I am 4 DPO. So far in terms of symptoms my skin has gone really bad and my stomach is a bit upset which could mean absolutely anything.

I'm not hopeful for this cycle

Southy84 · 03/06/2015 22:52

Congratations elephant :)

Well the friend wasn't too bad tonight, for the first time EVER!! I'll probably get a double helping of it next time I see her to make up for it Wink

weechops · 03/06/2015 22:23

birchy with my previous pregnancies I've always managed to see a faint line on 10dpo. I used the First Resonse tests. I would definitely test but then I'm a bit of a poas addict!

birchygoo · 03/06/2015 22:04

welcome to all the newbies!

I'm 8dpo and itching to poas!! like why... its not going to tell me anything. fed up waiting Angry most likely ain't even implanted yet! I'm away from Fri , 10dpo and considering if I should poas before I go. although only 10% of pregnancies picked up that early! am back day AF is due so I should just wait until then!

Itsme247 · 03/06/2015 21:55

Good luck Sarah! it wasn't until coming on a forum I realised there's a lot more I can be doing to get preggo! This is my first month with OPK's and temping so I might need some advice... although mainly I'm doing it to find out if I'm actually ovulating, I'm convinced there's something wrong with me! :(

Mrs1986 · 03/06/2015 21:33

That's a nice positive attitude Sarah!
I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. Do you think it makes it easier that you don't have the worry of there being a problem?

I don't know why but I'm so negative about everything. I have absolutely no evidence of there being a problem with me nor my DH but for some reason I'm just sure it's going to be a long and painful process TTC! I wonder why?? My DH had the exact opposite worry. He thought that the second I took my knickers off it'd be time to buy a pram!

Itsme Ugh, that kind of incredibly unhelpful advice drives me nuts too.

Elephant Oh my goodness, congratulations and what a surprise that must have been!

Well, ladies, I think this is my stop. Spotting seems to be turning into AF so I guess it's just a weird period this month (probably stress!).

Good luck to the people staying on the bus!

Sarah563 · 03/06/2015 21:10

Itsme - hilarious.

I'm so pissed off with people telling me to relax too!! They think I'm getting a bit obsessed about it all - I'm not really, I just want to get pregnant!!

I've learnt so much by being on this forum / charting / temping / CM checking. I feel like I actually know my body now. And actually I am becoming much less stressed. I know my body works (miscarriage 8 months ago); I know I ovulate - temp and CM checks; I know my DH works (MC 8 months ago) so all I need to do is time DTD and cross those fingers (and not the legs!! Grin)

Even if I don't fall pregnant this month (Currently in the TWW), then we'll try again next month... What else can we do?

elephantfeet · 03/06/2015 20:24

Thankyou Smile I will ring the surgery tomorrow then and DP will be back by the time the appointment comes around. Might be a bit awkward as I know the midwives locally in a professional capacity, but they must be used to that!

Itsme247 · 03/06/2015 20:07

Congrats elephant!

Itsme247 · 03/06/2015 20:06

Oh can I join in? Is there room for a newbie on the stats? I'm 25 and TTC 10 AF due 30th June!
