This is cycle #3 TTC for me. I really hoping this will be my month. Who's with me?

Today is cd8, I'm only on cycle#2 and last cycle was 30 days. My apps are mostly telling me to wait until mid week next week before dtd.

Louwm- are your cycles shorter? Just wondering if your starting dtd earlier cause you know something I don't?
Should I be starting this weekend too? Sounds like I don't want to (which is not the case), I just don't want my DH to feel any pressure!

Vap0 - when's your next holiday? What do you do to unwind from work? I am thinking about taking up swimming cause I find that quite relaxing usually. Have you told anyone in 'real life' that you're ttc? Xxx

CarrotVan · 06/06/2015 08:39

Did you need to get a ferry to the island? MrVan can't go on boats due to a neurological balance issue

Vap0 · 06/06/2015 08:36

mrs I do hope having a stressful job isn't the reason for me not conceiving as there will be no changes to it other than getting harder.

pulpi have you always spotted before af? I have just started doing this for 2 entire days before and it's all very strange to me. Do most people have this? P.s well done for not testing on holiday, I'm a bit of a poas addict and take them everywhere with me...

Ooh sarah and louwn not long now until you can test! Good luck!

cd 2 for us today, hurry up fertile window Grin

pulpi · 06/06/2015 08:36

Carrot, we've been on this this island off of Dubrovnik called Mljet. Staying in the National park. Absolutely beautiful. And hot. Spent a few hours in the Old City in Dubrovnik & highly recommend a visit to anyone... although best to avoid a day of 32C when walking the walls.

CarrotVan · 06/06/2015 08:30

Fx pulpi. Did you have a good time in Croatia? It's somewhere I've always wanted to visit

pulpi · 06/06/2015 08:24

Been on holiday (actually still on holiday) so I've missed all the news. Congrats to the ladies with the BFPs!

I resisted bringing a pregnancy test to Croatia and babies have been pretty far from my mind this past week. However, started light spotting last night. Could be the typical spotting I get 2-3 days before AF (AF being due June 8th) or.....

CarrotVan · 06/06/2015 08:11

Nit long to wait now sarah

Sarah563 · 06/06/2015 07:23

Congratulations Carlton and all the other BFPs. I'm now 8 DPO and desperate to test, but patiently waiting

MyNameIsSuz · 06/06/2015 06:03

Cd3 here, but super short cycles!

louwn · 06/06/2015 00:09

Cd6 - how about you?

MyNameIsSuz · 05/06/2015 21:48

Oh so updated stats: 30, ttc #2, cycle 3 after mmc, after due 29th June.

CarrotVan · 05/06/2015 19:34

Excellent - glad to have you back

MyNameIsSuz · 05/06/2015 19:21

Congratulations to all the bfps! I'm still here - I'd been tracking my periods in my diary but just cracked and downloaded an app. Though I've always been a steady 28 day cycle, looking at it properly the last couple of months (since my erpc) have been 25 days. That would mean I'm due to test again on the 29th/30th, so still in the game!

CarrotVan · 05/06/2015 17:41

Having entered my data into FF I'm actually 5 DPO and due to test on the 12th. Apparently.

I've just collected my prenatal vitamins from Boots click and collect and they've thrown in free stuff from Nutrimum which is nice

VioletIbiza88 · 05/06/2015 16:03

Thanks carrot will be sure to pounce on OH when he gets home from work then. Then maybe one more for luck tomorrow. Does anyone else find that if they are still "trying" then they feel their 2ww is a little shorter/more bearable? If that even makes any sense!

TwoHatsTooMany · 05/06/2015 15:51

This is a super charged BFP thread, congratulations Carlton and Wizard.

I'm 1DPO think, given that I had positive OPK on Wednesday, going to pounce on their husband one last time tonight before settling down to the craziness that is their 2ww

CarrotVan · 05/06/2015 14:40

I think you would 1 dpo and well worth getting another shag in today as the egg can last a couple of days after ovulation and you ovulate 12-36 hours after a positive OPK (if you ovulate - OPKs detect preparing to ovulate not actual ovulation)

VioletIbiza88 · 05/06/2015 14:36

carlton congrats Flowers

VioletIbiza88 · 05/06/2015 14:35

I posted earlier on on this bus but not been back to say hi since. Although I have been keeping up with the thread. Oh and for the stats carrot Im 27.

wizard congrats Flowers

I used cheapy opk's for the first time this cycle and am a bit confused. I saw a test line from the first day I tested (CD9) which then gradually darkened and was positive on Wednesday evening (CD15) (test line was even darker than the control line) it was still positive on Thursday morning (CD16) and then by the evening the line was lighter than the control but only slightly, the same that evening and this morning. When would you start counting dpo from? Am I right in thinking I'm DPO1 today? Any thoughts much appreciated. DTD cycle days 7, 10, 12, 14,15,16. Worth another go tonight, tomorrow do you think?

Testing on the 17th if AF hasn't got me first and see that a few of us are testing around that time x

CarrotVan · 05/06/2015 14:09

I think some people have very clear ovulation - some months I get a sharp pain for example

WizardSong · 05/06/2015 14:04

Thanks guys. Haven't even told DP yet as still at work trying to concentrate..!

Good luck everyone!

Mrs1986 · 05/06/2015 13:58

Do you only know your dpo if you use opks? I have three apps that seem to tell me different things hence was planning a 10 day DTD-athon to be safe. Maybe I'll end up building up to being more precise!?

CarrotVan · 05/06/2015 13:49

If relaxing is the key then I'm screwed.

In theory I'm 6dpo. Bored now. And another person from the group of friends with kids DS1's age gave birth a few days ago. So bored and grumpy

Mrs1986 · 05/06/2015 13:42

Congratulations Wizard!!

Louwn - what cd are you on??
Let's keep in touch on here cause I'll need some will power to stop me testing early and wasting money!

Vap0 - I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you this cycle. Do you both have stressful jobs? A friend of mine conceived twice on holiday! There must be something in this relaxing nonescense! Not that any of us want to hear that!!

CarrotVan · 05/06/2015 13:28

I'd barely added you to the stats wizard and you've got a BFP! Congratulations!
