All crampy, bloated and feeling weird here. Ugh

Rachelc82 · 08/06/2015 23:46

Thank you flatwhite I needed that hug. Yes that is why I like coming on mn nobody can understand unless they are going through it them selves, and yes babies and bumps everywhere so annoying.
I guess it's the same as everyone else, you get good days where very positive about TTC then bad days where it really gets to you. Helps to have others to talk to about it on here.

pingoose · 08/06/2015 23:00

CD35 over here, BFNs and still no AF :( I will be so glad to have normal cycles again! Anyone else waiting for their cycle to sort itself out after the pill?

Carltonlives · 08/06/2015 21:39

Ah thanks flatwhite! I just can't wait for you all to come over to antenatal!

I'm feeling fine, thanks! A few stretchy sensations in my tummy but no other symptoms so far Grin

Glad everyone seems well Smile

Sarah563 · 08/06/2015 21:21

had blood test on 7dpo (day 21) to check my hormones were doing the right thing. Progesterone levels showed that I ovulated - super news. HCG levels were

FlatWhiteToGo · 08/06/2015 20:46

Hello everyone Smile.

Itsme and Suz - that's so rude about your aunts and neighbour! What is wrong with people? If there even a bit curious then why not have enough self-restraint to keep your gob shut for 5 minutes? I've had a lot of speculation too lately and it really just adds to the misery Sad.

Vap - tbh I'm trying to avoid the internet. It's only caused me grief and upset over the past few months. That's good that you've got another consultant appointment. Do you know what the next steps are? At least this keeps the ball moving. It's not very helpful for the doc to say about the 3 months - it puts so much pressure on you.

Sarah - sorry about the BFN. Hopefully it's just too early. Keep us posted!

Carlton - glad I'm not alone in the non-existent period! ha ha. That also gives me some hope (which I'm rapidly running out of right now). How are you feeling? You must be so thrilled! It's so lovely of you to stay on this bus and chat to us and take an interest Smile.

Rach - I'm sending you the biggest hug. It really sounds like you're having a rotten time. It feels like all these things come at one, and I'm sure they all feed into each other (the not getting pregnant; the depression; the weight gain etc). You're certainly not alone in all of this. I am going through exactly the same thing, and I'm sure a number of the other girls on this bus alone will also relate to what you're saying. It's also sooooo awful when you're convinced you're pregnant and you're not, so you really have my sympathy for that too. On the plus side, with other things being ruled out, you're only getting closer to finding out what may be stopping you getting pregnant. Once you can (hopefully) find this out, then they can do something to sort it out. Just stay positive hun.! As for the christening, have you not noticed that the minute you get broody there are babies and bumps EVERYWHERE. Like, WTF? It is honestly beyond a joke.

Carrot - that's fab news! Congratulations to Mr Van!

Mrs1986 · 08/06/2015 20:31

Wowee lots of messages for me to catch up on. Happy Monday everyone!
Now on cd10 so the fun part begins this week! We've got a friend's wedding on the weekend and according to my apps the day of the wedding (Sunday) is my peak day! Xx

Itsme247 · 08/06/2015 20:11

I'll test for a couple of days just to be sure it wasn't a duff one, oh I really really hope this is the month!

weechops · 08/06/2015 20:04

carrot oops I thought that made you 10dpo. Maybe test Wednesday then. I've always been lucky enough to see a faint bfp (when I was pg) on 10 dpo. But as always, it's not over til af rears her ugly head, so don't lose heart.

Itsme depending on when you poas in the day, you could have maybe missed the lh surge which made the line as dark as the control line. It sounds like that was your surge. The opk tells you you are about to ov, so it could be happening anytime. Go jump on that man Grin

Iouwn I know how you feel with the broodiness! Can't wait to have a squishy newborn again Smile

louwn · 08/06/2015 19:56

My boss has just had her baby and posted a pic on facebook - totally gorgeous and gave me a huge wave of broodiness, again. Can't wait to have one of my own though...so impatient!

Itsme247 · 08/06/2015 19:51

Sounds like lots to be feeling positive about carrot! Fingers crossed!

I have a question RE: OPK's - this is my first month doing them. I'm on CD 13 (I have two apps and one says I OV on CD 14 and one on CD 16) and yesterday I had a pretty strong line on the opk but not quite as dark as the control line and then today there was barely any line at all! Does that mean I ovulated yesterday??

CarrotVan · 08/06/2015 19:31

That would only be 9 dpo though which feels too early.

weechops · 08/06/2015 19:22

carrot that's good news! Re testing, I think if you count cd1 as the start of mc (so sorry lovely) then today would be cd28 if you have an average cycle. You could test tomorrow

Vap0 · 08/06/2015 17:15

Carrot great news! Fingers crossed for the 3rd bit of good news Grin

CarrotVan · 08/06/2015 16:55

A small happy dance from me. 2 of my 3 stressors are sorted.

  1. My parents have new carers in place from next week after the month of awfulness
  1. MrVan has been offered the job he interviewed for today - more money, better work/life balance, better prospects

FX good things come in threes and I get my BFP this month

CarrotVan · 08/06/2015 14:16

I'm all confused. Can anyone tell me when to test?

MC started 13/5, 0 hcg by 22/5, bleed stopped 23/5, positive opk 30/5

Every online calculator gives me a different answer

Rachelc82 · 08/06/2015 13:53

Thank you carrot I guess he is. Hope it's just a case of bad luck and there is nothing wrong.

Congratulations on all the BFP's this bus really is beginning to looks like the BFP bus. Hope it's a good sign for us all.

I was doing some reading whilst away and apparently royal jelly casuals are good for fertility, anyone else heard this. I told DP I had read this and he added them to our shopping lol. Guess he's getting pretty desperate himself now. We went to a christening of our friend ds yesterday. Everyone had children, including two 4 wk old babies of dp's friends that fell pregnant and have had there babies in the time DP and I have been trying. I could see my dp felt it same as me, I could see the sadness in his eyes. It almost broke my heart to see.

CarrotVan · 08/06/2015 12:25

It's a deal Sarah assuming AF doesn't get me by then (this being the WTF cycle of uncertainty and confusion) as I'm rather crampy

Glad you had a good break Rachel but sorry you've had such difficult news to process. Sounds like your doctor is on the ball and supportive though. Look after yourself

Rachelc82 · 08/06/2015 12:13

Hi everyone, back from a lovely break away in Wales thought I would check in/ update. ( need to read back on the last week posts) but I hope you are all doing well and are close to your BFP's. So I got a bfn I tested morning before going to Wales that was 12dpo. Af then started the next day and was normal. DP also got the results of his sa after a phone conversation with the doctor whilst we were away and results were normal, that's all doctor said. He will now put a referral in for us to go to fertility clinic. 6 to 8 weeks waiting list.
I'm now feeling very down that it must be something wrong with me why we haven't conceived.

I really thought we had conceived this time, I had lots of systems some that still experiencing now. Still constantly eating since ovulation Iv now almost put a stone in weight on, could also be depressions I guess to increase appetite in that way.
Sorry for long message, feeling very emotional atm.

Sarah563 · 08/06/2015 11:36

Yes Carrot let's test on Fri together. Holding hands. Grin

Carltonlives · 08/06/2015 10:57

Hey everyone! Just checking up on you all!

flat just wanted to say that my periods are really short and light but painful. I usually only properly bleed for a day or 2 then spotting for another day usually. It didn't seem to stop me falling pregnant so I wouldn't worry Smile

Good luck to all the testers!! Got my fingers crossed for everyone esp birchy!!

CarrotVan · 08/06/2015 08:45

Vap my periods have always been a week long since they started when I was 12/13. And heavy. They stopped being so heavy and painful that I'd faint every month once I went on the pill at 17 but were still a week long. 1-2 days sounds like bliss but I know it's not for you when it might mean other issues

I don't get tired every month but this last month has been pretty intensely stressful. MrVan has a job interview today and has chronic depression with anxiety which is flaring up as he's been really stressed at work.

Sarah sore boobs are a good sign especially if it's not a normal AF symptom for you. No more testing until Fri/Sat and I'll test with you if you need someone to keep you honest...

weechops · 08/06/2015 06:55

sarah sore boobs are a good sign! You must be a lot more patient than me if you can wait til the end of the week Grin

3dpo today and I feel totally normal ha!

Sarah563 · 08/06/2015 05:28

I stupidly decided to test 9dpo yesterday. Obviously it was a bfn!! Lol
I will be patient now and re-test at the end of the week!!
Ps my boobs are so painful and enormous Shock

Vap0 · 07/06/2015 23:19

Hi all!

Hope everyone has had a good weekend!

I'm starting to get a bit bothered about my cycle. AF only lasted for 1 day this month. It's been 2 days on all cycles this year up until just now. When I cast my mind back to all those years ago when I used to have AF I think they were around the 5-7 day mark. flat I just read about what you said about your short AF too. Have you read up about it much? I'm a bit bothered about googling stuff like this as you seem to get loads of horror stories.

What is normal?

At least I have another consultant appointment in July so can ask then what the implications are. Pretty sad to expect to still not be pregnant in another 2 months I'm just almost certain I'm going to need medical intervention. No medical issues at all and hycosy showed nothing sinister but why would nothing be happening? Apparently after a hycosy you are super fertile for 3 months after. So that apparent super fertility has worn off now. The Dr reckoned most people will get pregnant in the 3 months after.

suz I don't understand all of these nosey people who can't help but tell us "strugglers" how we should get on with it. I'm sick to the back teeth of the questions from people and even had my gran telling me "times running out you know, you'd best get on with it soon" argh! It makes me so angry!!! Why do these people feel the need to comment???

carrot I get super tired at certain times of the month too. I'm wondering if my body is trying so hard to ovulate and it takes everything out of me? Do you have te tiredness every month? What do you reckon causes it?

Any more bfp's on the horizon? Any testers about?
