I still have mixed feelings keep. When I realised we had The Sex the day before ovulated, I had a massive panic and wondered what on earth we were doing. But I soon I realised that we had been through an unusually stressful week (lots of stuff to do with work and school, plus waves of 'threenanger' tantrums by dd2) so my feelings were skewed. The thought of the real possibility of being pg over the last couple of weeks hasn't made me feel panic, though. I think I could handle it and everything would just have to fall into place.
However, another thing I'm not sure about is the merry-go-round of ttc and it just not happening month ... After month ... After month ... After month ... After month ... We have a history of that and I found it a very difficult position to be in. I'd love to simply have sex and get pregnant but as many on this board know too well, it doesn't always happen like that.
I know I eventually did get pg twice but it was a long, increasingly dark and lonely road, especially ttc dd2.
But I also realise that we have 2 dds already and if we did not have any more children, I would be okay with that. I wouldn't feel unfulfilled; I could live with that.
