Ok DizzyN stats - umm...

  • Age 31.
  • TTC for 6 cycles (charting for 3 of those).
  • Taking folic acid and Vit D. As well as Vit B 50mg complex for the last cycle (because charting showed my LP was only 10 days long previously).
  • Symptoms:
7 DPO - Big rise in BBT and temps didn't come back down afterwards (Triphasic chart). 9 DPO - Emotional. 11DPO - Nausea and sensitive boobs. 12 DPO - Back cramps all day (just like the start of AF, but no bleeding), nausea, feeling hot and v sensitive boobs. 13DPO - Thirsty, feeling hot, nausea, weird dreams, frequent waking in the night, lots of weeing and a few more back cramps! 14DPO (Today) - BFP! Frequent waking in the night again, thirst, nausea, dizziness and tweaky nipples! Blush

Anything else I've forgotten?

BananaRaces · 11/06/2015 07:15

I've done 2 tests which both show very positive, but I'm still staring at them thinking I must have got it wrong because I can't be pregnant! Grin

I had pretty continuous AF for most of last year, which ended in the removal of a really large polyp in December. So although we've only really been TTC for 6 months, the journey to get here has been more like 18 months. Feeling very happy and have everything crossed for a sticky bean. Smile

FX for everyone in the dreaded TWW. Thanks to all of you for your support over the last few months, I really don't know what I would have done without you! Big love!

nightandthelight · 11/06/2015 06:56

Aaaaagh! Banana!!! Let me be the first to congratulate you!!! Lovely news!!! I'm just waiting for my flight for my second holiday in a row! 9dpo but not testing until I get home! Been away for nearly a week! What have I missed? Lots of love to you all!!! Flowers

BananaRaces · 11/06/2015 05:36

OMFG BFP!!!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/06/2015 18:34

No night, my plan was to mention it to my gp if I went for a follow up with him after yesterday's appointment! I can see why you thought that though, well remembered! Grin

nightandthelight · 10/06/2015 16:17

Ladies I didn't post for so long this dropped of the list of threads I am on! I am so sorry :(

Any news kleine? Have you bought a new test?

banana I am so excited for you tomorrow!

Congrats on making your hsg appt merry :)

Dizzy did you mention TTC to your doc (in my head you were doing it at same time as ENT appt which was yesterday but I may have that wrong?

DizzyMerry · 10/06/2015 12:40

Your Dr may show an interest but whenever I suggested temping they all rolled their eyes! I really want to get another thermometer but I'm just not sure which to get as I don't want to spend too much and I'm wary of the cheaper ones. I'm just waiting for confirmation of my appointment. I'm so excited!

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/06/2015 12:35

Thanks dizzym, I had thought that I should probably make an appointment anyway seeing as it's been six months now, but I'd just wanted to be certain my charts were correct before using them as 'evidence' of lack of ov (it's the detective in me lol Grin ) I didn't realise that they wouldn't be interested in the charts. I'm like you, I'm pretty certain I haven't ov'd as I have absolutely no symptoms....but last month I did get a thermal shift and I had no symptoms then either...I'd just like to know 100% either way but I guess it's going to be down to the docs to ascertain that now. Sorry for AF but fx for the next cycle and your private appointment too if you've decided to go for it! Smile

DizzyMerry · 10/06/2015 11:33

Fx for you banana.

DizzyMerry · 10/06/2015 11:33

DizzyN I can't find any that I think may be more reliable and as you say it's mostly the cheapo ones available. Yesterday's temp was 35.89 and today it's 35.79 but AF has finally arrived so maybe mine is working ok because I really don't think I did ov and no pre AF symptoms either. You may have ovulated but I would wait a couple of days and then test. Also none of the GP's I've seen have been remotely interested in charts. The first they will do is check you are ovulating so it's worth seeing them just in case.

Aug good to see you. Hope you're ok.

Southy hope AF stays away. It's random this alternative medicine in how much treatment they recommend. Mine only does pre and post ov but reflexologist said every week to 'balance the hormones'. As long as something works it's all worth it

Kleine have you bought a new test? Your post made me chuckle!

I have decided to go for a private HSG test. I contacted a couple of clinics yesterday to ask whether they can make this any easier as I had an awful experience with a HSG a few years ago. One got back to me and said they do it under sedation but I would need a consultation with their Dr. I am waiting for them to contact me with an appointment. I'm on cycle 14 now so it's time I started finding out if there are any other issues going on.

BananaRaces · 10/06/2015 10:41

Ooohh DizzyN! I think I would be waiting until AF was due and then testing if I were you. Sounds like all your temps might be wrong. Stupid ruddy unreliable thermometers!

Also thanks for the crossed fingers. Smile

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/06/2015 10:38

southy sorry to hear AF might be on its way. Flowers

Any news for you kleine?

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/06/2015 10:35

waves at august

Got my fingers crossed for you banana

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/06/2015 10:34

dizzym did you find a new thermometer? I've struggled in the past looking for better quality thermometers, all that seems to be out there is the cheapo ones from Amazon and eBay, unless you want to spend a lot of money.

The company that make my analogue thermometer have said that mine sounds faulty and are sending me a replacement. I really hope this one works because I'm keep to get to the bottom of what is going on. I don't feel I can go to my GP to ask why I'm not ovulating unless I have actual proof with charts that reflect this...at the moment I have questionable charts taken with possibly unreliable thermometers...this has been going on for four months now!

I found a thread on another site with lots of comments similar to mine, ladies with flat temps or temps that appear time and time again on the chart...they reckon it's a problem with the chip inside the unit....it's not normal to have lots of the same temps throughout the month which is why I feel I can't rely on the charts I've been producing.

I've been assuming I didnt ovulate this month but what is I did? I'm almost tempted to poas just in case Blush. If I did I could be 11dpo by now so would be justified in a test in the next few days...... or am I just kidding myself......Confused

BananaRaces · 10/06/2015 09:23

Kleine - I've got my fingers crossed for your fresh test. Hopefully it was just an old crap test being crap.

Southy - awwww, Flowers for you. Hopefully it's not the red witch, but if it is then make sure to have lots of Cake - doctor's orders! I'm not a medical professional

Latest update from me - still no sign of AF. She is definitely due by today at the latest, so if she hasn't showed up by tomorrow morning I will be testing. I had a load of random back ache / cramps all day yesterday (like the start of period pain) and kept rushing to the loo thinking AF had started, but nothing. So goodness only knows what that was. Temps still going up, but mine don't tend to drop until after AF has actually started... So I have no idea what's going on. Confused But I'll know by tomorrow morning, one way or the other.

Augusthomotherium · 10/06/2015 07:53

Hallo lovely may bus! Sorry I've been awol. Things messy here so no time or energy for Internet. Hope you're all doing very well and there have been last minute May bfps and that those of you already in the June tww have excellently high temps! Star

Southy84 · 10/06/2015 07:49

The reflexology lady ive spoken to says an app once a month, but the accupuncture lady said once a week to me merry, it's interesting how each gives different advice.

I can't wait to start now trixie, I have had my massive temp dip and massive stomach pains so think AF will arrive today :( there was slight light brown cm last night and that was only 10dpo so starting vit b again. I don't want to get out of bed, feeling sorry for myself.

Hope everyone else is ok, sorry for bfn kleine but hopefully it's just the test being old

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 09/06/2015 16:54

I tested but BFN. Then I read the expiry date on the test and googled to discover that a three year old test won't work Blush. AF should technically have arrived yesterday, so I guess I'd best buy a new test tomorrow...

TrixieRay · 09/06/2015 11:22

Hi Spinning! Lovely to see you though was hoping that you had got your BFP and I had just missed it. Sorry for AF.
I'm ok. DH and I decided to go down the IVF route and are due to start on Monday, exciting but scary. I've mainly been on the 10 month plus and infertility pages now but can't quite leave the bus.

DizzyNorthern, I'm sorry I really can't remember, it has been ages since I last temped.

Southy, I was just having one session a month usually around day 7. I'm going to have a few more sessions this month alongside the IVF to help keep me nice and relaxed. I used to be an absolute nightmare, my DH literally could not do anything without me going off on one. I still have my moments but nowhere near as bad as before.

BananaRaces · 09/06/2015 09:30

Well no AF so far, which means my LP is at least 11 days long this cycle (instead of 10 days last cycle), so it looks as though the B vitamin complex is working. Yay!! Hopefully the witch won't turn up at all, but at least if she does turn up I know I am on the right track. Smile

DizzyMerry · 08/06/2015 23:59

It's good to see you spinning. How is Tenerife? Are you looking forward to settling over there? Safe travels back and looking forward to hearing more from you.

Southy I've only had two sessions so far but with different ladies as I wanted to test them both out. I have settled with the one who also has endo as she has more knowledge of my condition and is generally more knowledgeable. I only need to see her twice a month pre and post ov, which is what she recommends when dealing with fertility issues so for me it's worked out cheaper than the weekly reflexology sessions. It is utterly relaxing and I'm hoping I'll see some benefits soon. Seeing her again tomorrow.

Thanks for the info dizzy will have a look tomorrow and get ordered tomorrow. I may just pick a thermometer up from tesco tomorrow to compare.
