Morning all! I just called my GP about booking in with a mw and they got me an appointment today!!! Seems far too soon but there would be nothing for another 6 weeks if I waited... I'm nervous! DH is off today so coming with. What do they do at these appointments? I'm assuming they do a bp, weight etc... An mot. I'm a little excited but anxious. Has anyone else had one? Eek!!!

DizzyMerry · 16/06/2015 23:08

Wow miss 9 grandchildren at 44?! Your in laws must be so happy and more so with the double baby news.

Aww that's so sweet wish. Here's wishing you a boring uneventful pregnancy.

Well DH really cheered me up with his dream. He dreamt that he was playing with our baby on our bed. I'm quite excited as he had exactly the same dream before DD was conceived so just hoping the sequence follows on.

MissMartin10 · 16/06/2015 22:41

wish awww bless him.. & you!! Smile

i dont have my first dr appt until next tuesday and ill be 8w6d by then. . i really don't like getting a dr appointment and then waiting a min of 2 weeks to get in its ridiculous... i am very glad that i won't need to have my first bloods taken until 16w according to my nurse... im so scared of needles i have a massive phobia Sad i want to go visit a phlebotomist at the hospital so they can numb it first haha

wish1406 · 16/06/2015 22:05

^^that should say hungover feeling not actually hungover!!

nightandthelight · 16/06/2015 13:42

I left due to all the negativity. I completely understand how anxious everyone is but it was making me worse :(

I'm ok, main symptom is exhaustion at the mo and incredibly painful boobs. No nausea but food aversion. You?

Carltonlives · 16/06/2015 13:41

I'm feeling good thank you Smile a little hungover in the mornings but otherwise ok

Carltonlives · 16/06/2015 13:40

No, no losses, just people feeling down and negative thoughts, i just think early pregnancy is a very anxious time. Quite a few people spotting too. Is that why you left? I can understand exactly how you feel. How are you feeling? Flowers

nightandthelight · 16/06/2015 13:35

Can't find it, probably because I asked MN to hide it :) Have there been a lot of losses then? :(

I am well thanks, six days till mw appt and 1 week and 4 days till scan! You?

It's called feb 16 babies - let the chundering commence

Yea it has cheered up today, I wasn't on all weekend either because it was making me anxious and I was feeling quite down but it seems a happy place today. How are you getting on?

nightandthelight · 16/06/2015 13:22

Has the Feb bus cheered up Carlton? Had to leave it for a while! Also what is it called?

Congratulations wish!!!!!! Don't worry about a few drinks, I'm sure the majority of women in early pregnancy have had a little drink or two.

Carltonlives · 16/06/2015 13:16

Congratulations wish!!! So so exciting! Come and join us on the fen antenatal bus! I'm due 11th feb so not too far from you Smile

DizzyMerry · 16/06/2015 10:35

Congratulations wish excellent news. So pleased for you. Let us know how it goes with your DH, such a fab idea.

(New user name) I've got my idea! I just read that the embryo would be the size of a poppy seed! We have some poppy seeds so I have put one in a box and I will get him to meet me after work as a special place and present a poppy seed to him in a jewellery box! I'll pretend it's a late anniversary gift! Fx I get a good response! I'm expecting a lot of 'Oh shits' as he is very nervous about becoming a dad! Lol

nightandthelight · 16/06/2015 08:48

Same I had never had ewcm before so I think it does work pretty quickly :) my edd is 8th Feb so same month!

Hmm difficult to suggest without knowing your DH! There's the classic wrapping the test up and presenting it to him...
