Brooke how are you today? Feeling any better?

TeenieDeenie · 20/05/2015 08:59

Thank you ladies. I've finally stopped shaking lol but think it's gonna take some time to sink in. My and OH are obviously really happy but reluctant to invest emotionally or believe that it's real until we know things are ok. Will call the docs today and ask for an early reassurance scan.

KleineDracheKokosnuss · 20/05/2015 08:35

Hi carlton, my first is 2.5. I decided that it was time to see if there's any chance of a sibling for her...

wishiwaspregnant · 20/05/2015 08:01

Hey auto it was me!
I just noticed on my first time charting that I OV late then my luteal phase was only 10 days with spotting before AF. So I've read this is not good. I've therefore researched and found that to bring OV forward and lengthen LP I need to take vit B6 and B complex. I'm also trying a low dose of agnus castus and throwing in oil of evening primrose for good measure! I've read that the B6 should be 100-200mg daily. However I'm starting this month with 50mg. Do you take sups? Any advice? I've not heard of soya... Do u mean the food products like soya milk?

autonomousplum · 20/05/2015 07:54

Welcome newbies and congrats to teenie and pulpi.
Someone wanted to know something about luteal phases and soy and b6. I await orders. Wink

Brooke113 · 20/05/2015 07:42

Wow dizzy she does sound v.knowledgeable. I've always been sort of freaked out by acupuncture, but want to try it at the same time :)

pulpi · 20/05/2015 07:28

Congrats teenie! So happy for you!

Very chuffed about the job news. Can now truly relax. Not entirely sure when I start as I'll be moving to a different part of the same library. It's up to the bosses to decide if I do two part-time jobs (my current job is only part-time), or if I wait for the month and start the new full time job then. Either way, I'm on annual leave the week after next, so all my thoughts are on sun, sand, and ttc.

DizzyMerry · 19/05/2015 23:03

I went for acupuncture today and the lady was really knowledgeable. She also has endo and told me it's actually an autoimmune disease. She advised I start taking omega 3 6 9 and continue with the conception vits and coenzyme q10. She advised that DH should take male conception vits, which he is doing as well as q10. Also she suggested I have a lap and dye to check my tubes and said the NHS should provide this as it's a diagnostic test. I only need to see her twice a month pre and post ov. Feeling much more positive now

Southy84 · 19/05/2015 22:56

I missed about your job pulpi congrats :)

That's really interesting about the two lots of smilies teenie goes to show don't stop DTD when you see a smiley just keep going just in case, really pleased for you.

DizzyMerry · 19/05/2015 22:42

Oh another bfp congrats teenie.

Congrats on the job pulpi

Rachelc82 · 19/05/2015 22:05

Ok teenie that's good to know thanks. Well congratulation to you. You must be so happy Smile

TeenieDeenie · 19/05/2015 21:39

Rachel I kept testing after the first one as ewcm continued and I didn't get sore nipples which I usually do around ovulation so after the first one I kept going and I got another 6 days later. I didn't even think is ov'd this cycle to be honest so am pretty much still in shock.

Rachelc82 · 19/05/2015 21:29

Teenie you got 2 solid smiley? I use clear blue duel ovulation kit but I stop testing as soon as I get a solid smiley face. Hmm maybe this is where I'm going wrong. After getting a solid smiley it stays on for 2 days, do you start testing again after that?

Carltonlives · 19/05/2015 21:25

Congratulations pulmi you must be thrilled! When do you start?

TEENIE!!!!!!! Woooooo hoooooo bfp!!!! Congrats to you too

rachel welcome! I was thinking wow 9 kids already! Haha

Welcome kleine! How old is your first? I'm on my second too :-)

Unless you're really unhealthy or diabetic or something I don't see any need to see a gp before conception! A little googling gives you most of the info you need, plus, that's what the bus is for right?!

wish my dh has grown a beard. Whenever he eats ice cream it gets stuck in the beard :-/

brooke call them and explain how painful the cramps are, they must be really getting you down now xx

And for me... I've got my bum on a pillow!!!! Grin Grin Grin and I had more ewcm this afternoon! Feeling positive now

TeenieDeenie · 19/05/2015 21:19

Thanks everyone. Just backed it up with a clear blue plus (strong positive) and a clear blue digi (pregnant 2-3 weeks). Only symptoms were yesterday felt like AF was due any moment and today felt a bit sick after lunch which prompted me to test. This cycle I used the clear blue dual hormone ovulation kit. Got two separate solid smileys a week apart so DTD every other day from CD4 to CD26 with a few extra thrown in around the solid smiley days. Can't quite believe it. Me and OH are in shock and completely terrified.

nightandthelight · 19/05/2015 21:10

Congratulations teenie Grin

wishiwaspregnant · 19/05/2015 19:54

OMG teenie!!!! Amazing news!!! How many dpo? Pelvis on pillow from now on!!! What else did you do this cycle! Share your wisdom!
Welcome Rachel and Kleine! This IS a LUCKY bus!!!
So, as for me, today I took myself to a wacky health sup shop and I have now started: B6 (only 50mg to begin with) B complex, evening primrose oil and a low dose of agnus castus! I know I should seek medical advice... But I find it impossible to get a GP appointment! I'm gona see if I can crack this luteal phase shortness myself! Fx. how's everyone else? Anyone else trying new things this cycle? Anyone else's DH grown a beard? Hmm
