I know it's easy to say don't worry and of course you will until you're reassured of everything but it all looks positive at this stage and nothing whatsoever to indicate otherwise. We're all here for you

DizzyMerry · 24/05/2015 12:22

Ok, so don't worry then. I've just a had a look online and hcg levels of 1900 are perfectly normal at or just before 5 weeks. So your levels are absolutely fine. It would be extremely difficult for them to see anything at this early stage. Even early scans don't detect preg before 6 weeks. Hang in there, we're all rooting for you and fx everything turns out well.

Brooke113 · 24/05/2015 12:02

From lmp 4w6d. dizzy

DizzyMerry · 24/05/2015 11:51

Brooke sorry to ask this but how many weeks are you? 5 weeks?

Brooke113 · 24/05/2015 11:40

So, after more spotting and pain I spent 7 hrs in hospital yday :( they did my hcg levels which were 1900 I don't know if that's OK or not :( been in this morning for an early scan and they could see some cells? But could not detect a pregnancy, I'm just in bits :( they couldn't say whether it was ectopic or not :( Ive got to go back again tomorrow :( I hate life right now, I need a good slap I think....

Pogmella · 24/05/2015 11:16

Thanks all- ages ago I explained when I was planning to test and how everyone's advice was to wait it out, he didn't say much but turns out he does listen!

Cocktail wise I like an espresso martini with a bit of cocoa powder on top- grown up red bull!

Today's (possibly imaginary/pmt) symptoms include very heavy sleep, heavy tender boobs and a lot of cm... Also cried at a don't tell the bride repeat...

Fx for everyone!

DizzyMerry · 24/05/2015 10:39

I have my fx firmly for you 88.

Yay for DP hiding your IC pog. I'm impressed, clever man! Fx for you too.

Good to see you miss. How are you doing?

MissMartin1992 · 24/05/2015 10:33

Hello ladies hope your all well Grin x

autonomousplum · 24/05/2015 10:16

Hah hah 88. It might 9.30 here but somewhere in the world it is definitely cocktail hour. Pretend you're in Thailand!
Cosmo-mmmmm-nomnom

88blueshoes · 24/05/2015 09:30

plum my favourite cocktail is definitely margarita! With lots of salt. Quite fancy one myself now (if it wasn't 9.30!)

wish great timing, and I'm impressed by your energy!! Sounds like you have a fun month ahead.

pog that's so funny that your DH hid your internet cheapies. At least by Friday you should get a definitive answer, no wondering if there is/isnt a line.

dizzy fingers crossed that today's the day for your solid smiley.

I think I'm going to be testing on Tuesday, morning which is 12DPO. The waiting has not been fun!! Really hoping we get lucky, I know I will be disappointed if we don't but trying to keep it in perspective since its only our first cycle.

Pogmella · 23/05/2015 16:40

88 I'm testing Friday morning, dh intercepted my ics and hid them so no chance to cheat! I'm getting twinges too but possibly only because I'm sitting around trying to spot it..

Dizzy keep the faith! Even if its not a 100% top priority every month you're still more in the game than not dtd at all x

wishiwaspregnant · 23/05/2015 14:37

Ooh yes auto my ultimate fave cocktail is Cosmo! Gotta drink it in the fancy glass with a twist of fresh orange! We are just about to pop open the fizz as our guests arrive! Yay for a boozy bank holiday weekend! I'm planning a few tipes in my tww this time! Been such a good girl to no avail now for 6 months. So I've decided to relax a bit now! Enjoy the weekend everyone! Xx

DizzyMerry · 23/05/2015 14:12

Wish epo didn't increase my ewcm. In fact it's had the opposite effect and only today I noticed some ewcm. Hopefully I'll get a solid smiley tomorrow. it's great that AF has packed up and left. Yay for the shagathon and for your fun plans. I'm sure it'll keep you distracted.

autonomousplum · 23/05/2015 13:43

I know nothing about flashing or solid smileys, but if it gets a thumbs up in the opk world you'll get a joyous hurray from me too! Flowers
I'm really glad that neither dh nor I travel much for work these days. I cannot imagine how crap it would be if we were apart during fertile windows! Good to be on home turf together though I'm sure. :)
I'm thinking of going out to a larny place for cocktails. It's May month after all and I haven't yet celebrated spring with something nippy. :)
I used to post a lot about gin cocktails la experte previously but haven't for a while. I don't know much about other types of cocktails though. Anyone care to post their favorite non-gin cocktail? I figure as I'm only 3 or 4 dpo there is zilch reason not to enjoy a wee drabbie today to cheer myself up. :)

wishiwaspregnant · 23/05/2015 13:22

Yay for flashing smiley dizzy! Don't worry you will get there! Didn't know epo would delay OV. I thought I was taking epo to increase ewcm?! Hmm... So many theories! Well AF has finally done one so back to ttc for us! DH is away from tomorrow for a week then very conveniently my fertile window is from day he is back for 5x days! Planning on doing a miissmartiin shagathon!!! Then I got away to recover! (With the girls! Phew) then away again with DH a
So plenty to keep me occupied in the tww Wink

DizzyMerry · 23/05/2015 12:43

Just did an opk and got another flashing smiley. Didn't do it yesterday but assuming it would have been the same so that would be 4 days of flashing smileys. Is that normal? I'm on cd14 and usually ov on cd13 but assume the epo has delayed ov or it's been delayed for some other reason. Hoping I get a solid smiley tomorrow but at least I'm still in with a chance then as I was actually about to give up this cycle.

DizzyMerry · 23/05/2015 10:38

Plum sorry you've been feeling down. I know exactly how you feel. It will get better Flowers

Pogmella and 88 I have my fx for you both.

DizzyMerry · 23/05/2015 10:34

I'm a bit fucked off with ttc this cycle and only just managed eod over my fertile period. I really can't be bothered this cycle. Didn't even do an opk yesterday but still taking my temp. This is shit Sad

88blueshoes · 23/05/2015 09:23

Hi pog! Well, I am 9DPO today but my symptom spotting efforts have been fairly fruitless! I've had a few headaches but that's pretty normal for me in the second half of my cycle, so I don't think that means anything.

The only thing which got me a tiny bit excited is I have had a few "twinges" which I don't think I normally get before AF. But then who knows, maybe I have always got them and never noticed - I've never paid this much attention to my body before!

Do you know when you're going to test, are you waiting until AF is due or will you test a couple of days early?

Pogmella · 23/05/2015 07:18

Hi 88! 7dpo here and convincing myself one way ore the other a few times a day... Trying to set a little milestone every day. How do you feel?

autonomousplum · 22/05/2015 20:35

Aw guys you made me cry! Flowers Thanks for the non-judgemental understanding! It's just today! Tomorrow will be bright and great and I shall take progesterone and have the longest lutwal phase ever and even though it doesn't look like I ovulated miraculously I would have and then suddenly I will be pregnant. See. How could it not happen? Smile
I am however going to sleep now to but those miserable thoughts from early on to rest. It's early but who cares. Its Friday. We can do whatever we want! eyes gin

Brooke113 · 22/05/2015 19:41

plum so sorry you're feeling so down :( ttc is really hard work. I never understand how so many girls accidentally fall pregnant, or fall pregnant from dtd once!! When there's so many desperate to conceive, life's so cruel sometimes (hugs to you)

88 not long to test now, keeping everything crossed for you for your bfp :)

bonkers cider sounds good! Have one for me!

Southy84 · 22/05/2015 19:23

brooke it's lovely to see you, I'm sorry things still aren't too good for you. I still have everything crossed that all will be ok. Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend and speak to your dh for support x

plum TOTALLY AGREE I even said the same thing to dh last night, we will get there though x

Sorry to hear about AF bonkers Flowers

Glad you don't have much longer to wait blue hope the nexts few days go nice and quick for you Smile and fx for a bfp

Thisisbonkers · 22/05/2015 19:14

Plum I know how you feel.

AF arrived today so I'm cheering myself up with cider.

88blueshoes · 22/05/2015 19:00

Hello everyone! I stepped away from this thread for a couple of days because I needed to distract myself from TTC whilst it was still too early to test. BUT I'm 8DPO today so not much longer to wait now!

Carlton I saw your post about wanting to tell your colleague about your EWCM, that's too funny! I don't have that but I do see TTC acronyms EVERYWHERE. 1C (as in option 1C) = internet cheapie. CM (as in centimetres) = cervical mucus. FMU (common acronym where I work, don't want to out myself though!) = first morning urine. Argh!

Brooke what a terrible few days you have had, I really hope you get some answers soon and that you have a happy ending after all this uncertainty.

Dizzy two days of flashing smileys sounds positive, fingers crossed it's a solid smiley this time.

plum don't feel bad, it's completely normal to be down when you see others getting something you want so badly. You don't sound selfish at all. Also, I don't think Friday before a bank holiday weekend is a very productive day for many employees so even if you didn't get much done I'm sure you will get away with it!

wish no particular plans, just going to relax this weekend. It did feel a bit odd walking out of the office today knowing that when I next walk back in I'll be 12DPO. So by the time I'm back at my desk I'll likely know if I'm pregnant this cycle or if I'm onto the next one...
