Claire I got my bfp after 13 days so quite a while wait for me.
I always get really weird dreams the week I get my bfp so I had an idea I might. X

clairemorgan81 · 10/05/2015 11:23

March I have no symptoms whatsoever but can't recall having any with any pregnancy especially this early. I've never tested before my period before.
I have a strong feeling this isn't my month, not know why just don't think ive caught.
I think my af might be due around next Sun/Mon but I usually spot for 3 days before that (highly annoying)
fingers crossed for you and philippa let us know how you get on.
which tests you got?x

Marchgirl · 10/05/2015 10:31

Sorry about the bfn claire, i know it's disappointing but you are super early still. I've never had a positive before 11dpo, and that only with a frer, which are much more sensitive than the trial ones. Don't give up yet! Do you have any symptoms? I have nothing symptoms wise and my positivity is fading! really think it's going to be a bfn this month as last time I did have symptoms and knew before i tested. Although actually i can't remember how soon I had them. maybe it's just too early. Anyway, I start testing tomorrow, but don't expect any result before Friday, probably Saturday more realistically. Good luck for the testing to both you and philippa when you start in a few days x

Hopefully of things work out and I catch this cycle i won't be flying until 13 ish weeks. When we go to Barcelona I'll only just have caught / be catching if I do so hopefully no impact.

I've already got flight socks. Absolute beauties they are! We honeymooned in Thailand so bought them for that but also used them for New York which we booked to cheer ourselves up after mc number 2. They're actually quire comfy and stop me getting cold feet on the plane!!!

Choccywoccydodah · 10/05/2015 09:15

Claire how exciting you could be finding out some fab news this week!!
I was 5/6dpo (I've always been early), but wasn't confirmed for trial until 6 days later (I didn't get a positive on site after my initial tests, I didn't know I had to and had just had a wee just before! And it was late afternoon!!)
Yes finding out the sex :). Were going to go for a scan today to find out as you can from 16 weeks, but so many people online have been told wrong so early so we decided to wait til 20. We'll be having a 4d scan about 24/26 weeks so will take ds along and have them properly confirm it!

Size so glad you're enjoying your hol and hope you're feeling relaxed. I don't think the day counting ever goes away!!

Good luck everyone waiting to test so exciting!!!!

Had a great night last night, bed at 2.30am absolutely shattered!!! However still bloody woke up at 8 (dog started barking) dh got up but I was awake then!! Going to be a long day!

Indiedog · 10/05/2015 08:19

Thanks for all the reassurance with flying. I think it's CIS I lost the last one whilst we were away. It will all be fine this time, I'm sure.

Claire, I got my BFP 10 days after ovulation OV 15th, BFP 25th! I thought that was pretty early anyway, but I think some of the others may have been earlier.

Girlie, glad you are a feeling a little more focused. Sometimes it does help to have some plans in mind, it kinda gives you focus either way. I'm up their tues for a quick appt, I'm guessing your in after me this time. Fingers crossed for parking. It is shit, I've even parked over the General and walked across. All though you can't have a free ticket for over their.

Everyone else, keeping things crossed for BFPs.

Ive got a list as long as my arms of jobs to do today, boooring!

clairemorgan81 · 10/05/2015 08:12

hi everyone hope your all enjoying your weekend.....

choccy busy & exciting times ahead........your 20 week scan will be here before you know it. your findong out the sex arent you?

size glad your doing well and enjoyed your sunny break Smile
girlie hope your bearing up okay it's agony not knowing but I've heard lots of positive stories similar to yours so try and keep your chin up.

I started testing this morning bfn I know its early days but it's sooo disappointing. can't remember when you ladies got your bfp's?
best of luck March and philppa for your testing this week x

girliesaints · 10/05/2015 07:44

Size, glad to hear you had a fab time & sorry didn't send you the restaurant recommendations... Head well and truly in the sand this week!

In terms of flying, I went to Cuba when 6 wks pregnant with dd and as it's been my only successful pregnancy, it certainly didn't do my any harm. Perhaps I should fly this time?

Not sure why but currently feeling very calm about everything. Think it's cause I've got two plans in my head depending what happens on Wednesday.

How's everyone in the 2ww club? Any early signs either way?

sizethree · 09/05/2015 19:50

Gosh you lot ain't half chatty! A lot to catch up on.
So sorry to read about the scans. The waiting just be awful, but a lot can happen in a week and i very much hope that the rescans are perfect and the babies are burrowed in nice and safe.
Glad they're splashing out on the Clearblue pregnancy tests now. I used internet cheapues abd got a FRER to first confirm as I found the budget ones first supplied not sensitive enough.
Regarding flying in pregnancy, the NHS guidelines say that although it's safe to fly in early pregnancy, a lot of women choose to fly after 15 weeks due to the risk miscarriage and morning sickness. And when I spoke to my MW she said it's perfectly safe as there's no link to mc the risk would more likely be deep vein thrombosis, so get done sexy flight socks on to combat that. My flight was only 2.5 hours and I felt alright but wouldn't want to fly any further afield as I'd get angst u that if anything did go wrong I'd feel
a bit too far away from home.
Heading back tomorrow after a really peaceful week in the sun. 14+2 now and wonder if I'll ever stop counting the exact days!
Waves to everyone and hope that this weekend is treating you all well.

Choccywoccydodah · 09/05/2015 18:18

Awwww it'll be so amazing when you get to tell everyone esp dd.

Sorry kazz, I thought it was tonight you were out. Sorry you're feeling so rough!!

Indiedog · 09/05/2015 17:51

That's reassuring that you went away at 13weeks.

I want to tell brother and dad, before we go away. Inlaws whilst there. Then poss DD whilst there. Then I can come back knowing everyone important knows, and I can go public at work once back.

My DD will be ABOSOLUTELY made up. For a few years now she has mentioned a brother or sister on and off. She has saved a couple of her baby toys for when we have one. We haven't even mentioned having a baby.
She even said early last year, that when I have a baby out my tummy, she will go to Grandads whilst I have a baby. She thinks my belly button piercing scar is where the doctors took her out my tummy. Sooo cute.

Kazz2112 · 09/05/2015 17:48

From now on that should say

Kazz2112 · 09/05/2015 17:47

Why why why why why did I let myself be persuaded into the night out?! Very very rough today! The benefit being I will have no problem not drinking again from now looking!!!!

I've never really considered the impact of flying on pregnancy. What are the risks? I fly a lot. I'm a teacher and if I don't get on a plane somewhere during each school.
holiday I feel cheated!!! It's also what keeps us going during the last twelve months of utter crap (along with the 3mcs my mother IL has also had 2 strikes which has pretty much destroyed the person she was) and I wouldn't really want to give up our travels as I find them very stress relieving. Obviously would do if we had to though

Choccywoccydodah · 09/05/2015 16:00

Sorry meant to say congrats for almost 10 weeks!!!!!
When will you tell your dd? I bet she'll be so excited!!
We told ds after 10 weeks scan, bad move, he keeps saying Pips taking a looooooong time :)

Choccywoccydodah · 09/05/2015 15:58

Ha ha! You shouldn't be too bad going to Spain. I was 13+4 wen we went to Dublin, was only 50 mins flight but I didn't even think about it affecting me this early lol!

Indiedog · 09/05/2015 15:53

Ah choccy, you've got a lovely few weeks lined up, you lucky thing.
I would love to see thriller, that will be amazing. Not jealous at all Wink

We go to Spain in the 25th, to tell the inlaws the good news, I hope. But I am very very nervous. My last MC was the day after I arrived there, I was only just four weeks though. I will be 12 when we go. I'm going to get some of those attractive flight socks!!!

I can completely understand the 3 to 4 thing, it has been us three for seven years!! But I can not wait for my DD to find out she will be a big sis, she will be amazing.

I am 10 weeks on Monday, but today I am have a bit of niggly pain on my left side, to left of belly button and up a bit. Hoping it's just things setting in and growing etc. I know the amniotic sac etc is forming as the scan showed it, but just can't help worrying with every niggle. So I sent hubby and DD out to do the shopping!! Any excuse not to go myself.

How is everyone else doing??
Keeping everything crossed for BFPs and for everyone's re-scans xx

Choccywoccydodah · 09/05/2015 15:32

Have a great night out kazz!!!

I complained about the tests and I think size did too as they are quite shit lol! Glad they've got CB ones finally, makes sense since they give us the CB ov tests!!

All good here. Busy time. 16 weeks today, just listened to HB again :) 16 weeks appt on Monday.
Have friends around tonight, next weekend is dhs birthday so going to London for 2 nights/3 days and to see thriller :) My parents are taking ds to the seaside for 4 days/3 nights so he's mega excited too!
Then following weekend hopefully going on hols for 2 weeks (our last as a 3!!) get back and scan 2 days later!!
Been having a few wobbles lately as trying to get my head around us going from 3 to 4. I want this baby so so much of course I do, just been the 3 of us for almost 4 years and love our ds so much I'm scared of change :'(

Marchgirl · 08/05/2015 20:47

Have fun in Manchester kazz. Af's arrival is always a blow, but at least it means you can definitely join the trial now Smile

Trying to keep up the positivity for everyone. Feel like this is a lucky group Grin

OP posts:
girliesaints · 08/05/2015 20:34

Like the positivity March!

Claire, I reckon that cause you've taken a bit longer this time, the next time will stick

Kazza enjoy the night out

Kazz2112 · 08/05/2015 19:21

I haven't got any pregnancy tests yet. She's posting some then I'll pick the rest up. AF arrived today. Not sure if I'm relieved or not cos not certain I'd have been able to do the trial if I'd been caught.

Anyway... DH Has persuaded me to relax and let my hair down and have a night out after abstaining from alcohol for the last month. So Manchester here we come!!!

clairemorgan81 · 08/05/2015 19:09

definitely makes sense to use cb ones. are they the ones that say pregnant or not pregnant do you know?
I really hope its our month March & philippa. typical I caught quickly last year with all 3 losses and now it's taking its time x

Marchgirl · 08/05/2015 18:44

Yeah, i thought it was a bit weird that the ov tests were cb but the hpt were crappy ones. Glad they've taken note, although I'm hoping it won't affect us philippa and claire, as we'll be getting our bfps this month Wink

OP posts:
philippa88 · 08/05/2015 17:45

Evening all :) I got cheap tests at first but my trial nurse told me from now on they're giving us clearblue ones, makes sense since the ov tests are that brand! X

clairemorgan81 · 08/05/2015 17:43

hmm maybe I 'll get them next time I go in. hope so those other ones aren't the best x

girliesaints · 08/05/2015 17:31

Claire, I got told recent recruits were getting cb pregnancy tests after a few complaints about the other ones x
