Louise, glad to hear it was good news x

Indie, 12 week scan ready, wow. Is it in epu or the ultrasound dept?

Spoke to the trial team about 6 week scan today and they've said they're feeding back to the trial they think it's causing more stress than good as 3/4 Of their ladies Ladies it's been inconclusive. Essentially it's not to look for viability of the pregnancy at that stage but instead checking it's not an exotic pregnancy, which can be checked in other ways. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Indiedog · 20/05/2015 16:33

Pleased you are getting a 10wk scan Louise, I think a four week wait would be awful.
I had my eight and then have the four week wait!!! Which is up this Friday, when I have my 12wk scan early, but only by three days.
I am 11wks +2!!!

I am still not taking it in!! Until yesterday when work pulled me in the office and bombarded me with questions! When's baby due, when might I leave, do I want to cut my hours in September??? Kind of made it hit home, and I was a blubbering mess! Plus I only have five injections left, and I am bricking it in regards to not having my safety net, and it being down to me and my body to keep it!! But who knows, I may only be on the placebo anyway ConfusedBlush
Husband had a shock when he got in, and I was just crying! I told him I'm scared, and that its down to me. I said if I lose this one it will break me! I think he has just realised how much I am worried, although you would not think it to see or talk to me!

Anyhow, I'm just wanting to get to Friday to make sure all is still ok. Step by step, that's been my motto, and will continue to be!

Xx

LouiseM1987 · 20/05/2015 16:15

Thanks both still in shock.
I honestly thought they were joking
My next scan is in 2 weeks time this was my 8 week scan but Coventry do 10 week scan too which in so thankful for. It's going to be weird the past 3 weeks I've had a scan and now I've got to go 2 weeks I couldn't imagine waiting till 12. Where are you again indie ?

Indiedog · 20/05/2015 16:04

Louise, that's great that your little bean seems to be speedy, and catching up quite nicely.
I not surprised you didn't believe her, I did the same at my six week! "Are you sure??????"

Are you getting another scan soon, forgive me but I can't remember where your at 7/8 weeks?
Once you've had the eight week, at my place the next scan is 12! Do you get one in between?

Xx

Indiedog · 20/05/2015 16:00

Oh girlie, that is a shame. All you want is an answer either way. I glad the team are being supportive, at least they are not just thinking of themselves and the trial. I can only imagine how confusing it must be.

Sending you lots of strength to get you through next week. Xx

Kazz2112 · 20/05/2015 14:39

That's a relief Louise. When's your next scan?

LouiseM1987 · 20/05/2015 14:22

Girlie I'm so sorry. I'm glad the response team are being good it definitely helps having their support. I hope next Friday comes around quick for you and dh.

Sorry
I'm still in shock and don't think it's sunk in but there's still a heartbeat and it's grown a fair bit only 4-5 days behind now.
I kept telling dh that it's over and that he shouldn't get his hopes up. I even emailed dog breeders and he had said previously I can get a dog.
When the lady doing the scan said I kept saying I don't believe you. Which she kept saying I can't Magic a heartbeat.
I still have no symptoms but in a way it's making me forget I am.
Big hugs girlie xxx

clairemorgan81 · 20/05/2015 14:12

it's so rubbish having to wait. I waited 3 weeks with my first mc then another 2 for d&c and its horrendous as you can't even begin to move on. I hope next Fri brings better news girlie.x

girliesaints · 20/05/2015 13:23

Thanks ladies. Disappointed it's not more conclusive at this stage as if it's not viable, want to move on.

Response team have been great as technically still on trial until a definitive answer. They're putting the wheels in motion that if it's not successful that I may be able to transfer to some other local trials the hospital are running.

Louise, any news? Hope it's better news than me.

sizethree · 20/05/2015 12:58

girlie I'm really sorry the news wasn't more definite. Not knowing either way is the worst torture. Wishing you a very speedy week and lots of support in RL and here.
phillipa I had lots of low down cramping and back pain with the injections, up to about week 9 I think. But with my miscarriages I never had cramps until after the spotting /blood started. I also got weird whooshing sensations in my boobs too about 45 mins after injecting.

philippa88 · 20/05/2015 12:50

So sorry girlie. Don't give up altogether though, you never know. At least next Friday will bring a conclusion. Hugs xx

Size three - were the cramps like actual period cramps? They've been on and off today but I defo have that low down achey feeling :/ xx

Kazz2112 · 20/05/2015 12:42

Really sorry to hear that Girlie. Hope next week comes quickly for you xxx

Marchgirl · 20/05/2015 12:19

So sorry to hear that you're still in limbo girlie and that is not looking good Sad. Hope your dh is looking after you x

girliesaints · 20/05/2015 12:13

Had scan and it's still inconclusive. The egg sacks have grown but the yoke sack is bearly visible and there's no heart beat visible. Got to go back next Friday to have hopefully the final scan but it's looking like it's not viable. If it isn't I'm then having surgery next Friday.

clairemorgan81 · 20/05/2015 11:02

so pleased af arrived March I'm sure we were only a couple of days off each other last month as well Smile x

sizethree · 20/05/2015 10:54

phillipa yes I got cramps and backache in the early weeks. I conforted myself with thoughts that the pregnancy was burrowing in securely. I got a few headaches too but upped my water intake to three litres a day and that fixed them. (But makes for more trips to the loo and wipe inspections!)

Marchgirl · 20/05/2015 10:25

Glad you're feeling a bit better today philippa. It's going to be a long road but you'll get there.
Af arrived (finally). Hoorah.

philippa88 · 20/05/2015 09:50

Good luck today girls, I'm thinking of you!!

Today I'm feeling slightly better, more so after reading the 2 main side effects of the drug are headaches and menstrual cramps.. Maybe that's what's giving me cramp?
Those who've been on the injections, did you get cramp?? Xx

Marchgirl · 20/05/2015 09:50

Thinking of you louise. Hope it's good news x

Everything crossed girlie. Hope you got some sleep x
