Good luck Indie. Hope this will be the turning point that you can start being excited and more relaxed

Indiedog · 21/05/2015 20:35

Phillippa, I can't see pics on the app, but pleased the lines getting darker ??

Well, I have my 12wk scan (3days early) tomar, at 11am!! To put it lightly I am still bricking it!!
Yes, we are lucky to have extra scans on the trial, but when I went for my first scan at 12wks with DD, I got told her measurements were high. So from the very first point, that is meant to be a happy time, it was awful.

I will be pestering the person scanning tomar to check everything, twice!!!!! Just praying it will be a good scan, and they will say all looks ok!
Fingers crossed x

Kazz2112 · 21/05/2015 20:15

Ok. so twice a day. May order some extra cheapies!

And the line is definitely darker Philippa!

philippa88 · 21/05/2015 20:09

Thanks choocy.. Still need reassuring!

Kaz I was testing at 6am and then when I got in from work at 4. I was checking the blue lines on them too and watching them get darker. The day I had quite dark lines I tested again about 7pm just in case - and i got that smiley! I used clearblue in the morning and amazon cheapies in the afternoons. X

Choccywoccydodah · 21/05/2015 19:48

Philippa DEFINITELY darker!!!

Choccywoccydodah · 21/05/2015 19:47

Kazz just ask for more tests, I opened a second packet the month I tested. I tested with fmu and in the late afternoon the last 3 days I knew I was meant to get a Smile

Kazz2112 · 21/05/2015 19:41

So what times did you test? I've it been doing morning. About 6am. Only on cd13 atm and I think I'm a late ovulate about cd 17/18. there's only 10 pee sticks in a clearblue pack but I have a few Internet cheapies too

philippa88 · 21/05/2015 16:35

Kazz what makes you think you're doing them wrong? Morning and night I would say - worked for me!!

Good news on your bloods genwah!

I was at the hospital before for my 4 weeks appt. Had more bloods done and got more injections. My temperature was slightly high so they tested for a urine infection but it was negative. Trial nurse said it could be a side effect possibly! Did anyone have elevated temperatures??

Oh just gave me my injection and it hurt like hell!! Think he must have hit a capillary :s Ouch!

Feeling a bit more at ease today - in the past with my mc's, I've always had faint tests that never got darker but always got lighter. Been taking tests in the mornings and today's was much darker. I'll attach the first ever test and today's -it's defo darker isn't it?!? Xx

Vegas? Not jealous at all Envy ha ha. Lucky you. I felt the same but things suddenly all seem to be happening at once. Started ovulation testing yesterday - so scared im doing it wrong! Hopefully things will keep coming quickly! Starting with a
Smiley and a bfp Hopefully

Genwah85 · 21/05/2015 09:50

Hey all I've just had a good catch up,
I'm struggling with the whole waiting for my af as this will be first one since last miscarriage, I'm wishing the weeks away yet petrified the time will come and it will all go wrong again :(
My blood results all came back fine just low iron so on tablets for that, but I was a little bit gutted about that I think part of me wanted a problem to appear they could fix!! I'm sure you all felt the same, we have worked out that I should roughly ovulate the week of my 30th birthday (been tracking this month as a practice for next month as never done it before) so we have booked a week in vegas take my mind off things hopefully!! Xx

Kazz2112 · 21/05/2015 09:42

I may try some pilates and yoga

Indiedog · 21/05/2015 08:23

Personally I wouldn't be body attacking or pumping Wink, I'm just going to stick with a little gentle exercise bike at home, and go for walks etc.

As choccy said, I'd be a bit scared to do anything to strenuous!

Choccywoccydodah · 21/05/2015 08:03

I stopped exercising when I ovulated end Jan, haven't exercised since as too scared to!

Kazz2112 · 21/05/2015 08:01

Yeah it's all so Confusing. My only natural miscarriage was after I started hammering the gym over Christmas . The others were mmc.

I really like body attack, pump and combat classes but I'm so unsure. Ibe previously been told by my doctor exercise is fine and beneficial but don't go running a marathon.

Indiedog · 21/05/2015 07:09

Ps, I started running after two miscarriages, as I wanted to feel fitter and healthy. Not to lose weight. I haven't lost weight, but I am fit.
I still went on to conceive, and sadly have two more MCs.
But I don't think my exercise had anything to do with it.
Things in moderation I think x

Indiedog · 21/05/2015 07:06

Morning Kazz.
I have been running for well over a year, but I will tell you what I've done in the last few months.

Got my BFP in March, but in the run up to that I was running 2/3 times a week ish!
I was also getting ready for The Eliminator race the beginning of Feb, a five mile extreme natural obstacle race. I also did the Romsey five mile that month too, and a military training session, that was an absolute beasting!!!

Anyway, it just so happens that when I got my BFP I cam down with the worst head cold I have ever had. I was bed ridden for a few days. This out pay to my running for about four weeks, my asthma also flared up.

So I haven't run since then! So that's nearly two months. I will get back on the exercise bike soon, but I've been tired in the evenings, but that seems to be subsiding. I'm going to try and swim when I'm away next week. But I'm not sure I'm going to run!
Just don't want to shake it all up in there. I know they say, if you did it previous to pregnancy it's ok to carry on.

I would go and speak to the docs, or midwife etc. As I personally wouldn't want to do leg weights etc, might pop it out!!!

Have a chat with someone and find something your comfortable with xxx

Kazz2112 · 20/05/2015 22:21

Out of interest... I need some advice to maybe put my mind at rest... what's everyone's thoughts on exercise whilst ttc and early pregnancy?

I used to be a right gym bunny but gain 2 stone over the 12months post wedding / 3miscarriages. I'm almost scared exercising will affect me conceiving or the chances of me staying pregnant! Wondered what everyone else's thoughts are? I really wanna get back to the gym as I miss it and it is good stress relief but not at the expense of a bambino

Joy2713 · 20/05/2015 19:43

My next scan is Tuesday (8 week one) but the worrying has already began although it's abut early for me (all my mcs have been between 10-15 weeks) so if and when I get to 16 weeks I might finally start to calm down! Defo think I'm going to get a private scan at 10 weeks although j did say just to ask Epu and they might well do one given the history.

I done another study before this one (I had a hysteroscopy and at the time they placed a sensor in my womb and I had to wear a special belt for 3 days and it read temp of womb etc) and this was also carried out on g level so think it must be where research to most of there bits and pieces.

Off to Cornwall on Friday with oh, ds and my niece so hoping that takes my mind ff everything for a few days!!

Good luck to anyone else for scans and Appts this week :) xx

Choccywoccydodah · 20/05/2015 19:23

Girlie I'm so sorry you still haven't had a definite answer! It's such a wait week to week :( Hopefully next Friday you will get the answer and a lovely beating heart will be found :)

Louise, great news! Told you to ignore original dates!
It's fab we get a 10 weeks scan. Although it's a long bloody wait from 12 to 20!!! I begged asked for a 16 week one but they weren't having it humph!
I did have my normal dating scan at 13+3, so thankfully a week closer. 3 weeks today til my next scan. Next Mw appt Friday before we go away Saturday :)

Philippa totally understandable you worrying, pregnancy is worrying full stop without all that we've been through. Then the real worrying begins when they're born!

Indiedog · 20/05/2015 18:11

Girlie, I think the trouble with g level (personally I found it ok) but I can imagine they are basically being 'used', as the times I've been they nurse didn't know much about the trial, and The nurse asked something and A said it was such and such, and that she wouldn't expect them to know what it meant, and the nurse looked a bit miffed. Also as it is private clinic, I think they are more likely to be able to fit people in at short notice, as apposed to the EPU or the ultrasound dept. I think we might be treading on their toes a little. Hay ho, never mind Wink

I am pleased I found Mumsnet, I am an original Netmums I'm Affraid!
I have found that being able to quiz people further on has helped, and that my past feelings, present, and future fears are not dissimilar to others! I'm not nuts!
Hope that makes sense!!

girliesaints · 20/05/2015 17:43

Joy, totally agree with you about g level. The epu unit were very scathing about g level last week with my scan and poor notes. Today was scanned by a doctor and had the lead nurse in as well. They were lovely and firstly recognised me without saying my name and spoke honestly but with compassion. Unfortunately was 45 mins late going in as they had three emergency admission.

Spoke to A about you, Indie and I have hooked up on here. (Obviously didn't say names) she was really interested to hear the support we're providing each other (of course the other ladies as well)

Joy2713 · 20/05/2015 17:33

Sorry to hear that girlie.. hope next friday you finally get some answers! Was today in the epu? As i find them so much nicer and they seem like they actually understanf there job, was really not happy with my g level experience!
Very pleased for you Louise, im not having much on the way of symptons other than sore boobs and abot of nausea so your not alone xx

Indiedog · 20/05/2015 17:32

Hi girlie, my scan will be in the normal ultrasound dept! Bit weird really. Just hoping all ok, as when I went for my first scan with DD that was when I was told she was high risk of Down's syndrome! So Friday is going to be a little stressful, but hoping and praying for a smoother ride!!

sizethree · 20/05/2015 17:31

indie I could have written your post. I know exactly how you're feeling. Completely hoe I felt abd still feel at times. Although the feelings aren't as intense a few more weeks in.
I think when you get a bump and feel movement you'll being in feel less anxious. Well, that's wjag I'm hoping to happen.

philippa88 · 20/05/2015 17:12

Yey Louise!! How exciting!!! I can only imagine how must be feeling!! Great news :)

I've just been speaking to Thomas Cook about taking the injections on the plane! Felt like I was jinxing it!! I have to keep them in a cool bag as hand luggage, then they've arranged for the hotel to put a fridge in our room ready for arrival. We have to get a letter from the hospital too explaining what the medication is for and how much I am taking. Feels so surreal!!!

Xx
