That is amazing news Joy! Huge congratulations! Do you have twins in your family?

Joy2713 · 26/05/2015 16:22

So had my 8 week scan today! And there was 2 sacks, 2 babies and 2 heartbeats! Measuring about 1 week behind so got anther scan next week to make sure everything is alright xxx

Kazz2112 · 26/05/2015 09:49

I've just arrived in Barcelona. Hubby just asked if he can have a beer when we get to the centre! Not until you've done your job I said! I don't want any spermies that are under the influence! They need to be able to swim straight!!!! Grin

clairemorgan81 · 26/05/2015 08:56

gosh hats off to you ladies that manage twice a day!! Wink we struggle to fit in once a day lol!x

philippa88 · 26/05/2015 08:17

Hi Claire. The cycle we got pregnant, we went crazy!! Before the smiley we were DTD every other day, once the smiley arrived, we went at it twice a day! Morning and night lol, it was tiring setting the alarm extra early so we could get a cheeky hump in before work, but it worked!!
I'm 5+3 normally but am 4+5 by the hospitals workings out. I prefer to think of it as 5+3 though :) 6 weeks is our next goal, step by step!
X

Kazz2112 · 25/05/2015 22:05

Good luck for Friday Girlie. will be thinking of you xx

girliesaints · 25/05/2015 21:49

I just tested once a day. Really couldn't get my head around the ov testing so couldn't bear it to do more than that.

Feeling ok now but had a wobble yesterday after symptoms really kicked in sickness/ bloated etc. have been warned that may happen due to double eggs (double the symptoms) rather than a miracle happening.

Time is going ok as keeping busy. Have my Pom poms for those ttc this month!

Kazz2112 · 25/05/2015 21:43

I ov tested yesterday morning and evening. Both smilies. And same again today - smiley this morning and gone this Evening. We tend to go for every other day about cd 10 to 13 then once (or twice!) a day from Cd14. DH is seriously looking forward to a beer in Spain tomorrow as I've banned him over the bank holiday / smiley time!

clairemorgan81 · 25/05/2015 20:58

kazz im not sure whether pain means you are or have ovulated. have you ov tested tonight?

does everyone dtd every other day or daily? I'm terrified of not giving myself the best possible chance, urghh it's now safe to say I totally hate knowing the ins & outs of ttc. I would love to be carefree again and not know the science behind it all. when we decided to try for ds I didn't even know you could only get pregnant at a certain time in month we just dtd frequently all month and it was great!

how you feeling girlie? bet time is dragging x

girliesaints · 25/05/2015 20:12

With all this talk of Holidays is making me jealous. We're awaiting the outcome of Friday and then book something for beginning of July x

Kazz2112 · 25/05/2015 11:11

Typically... having written that post its instantly started to subside!!!!!!!!!!
Does that generally mean that ovulation has happened?!

I so wish i had a little camera that i could see inside whats going on! I have a biological sciences degree and thought I was well clued up on human biology until all this started!!!

clairemorgan81 · 25/05/2015 11:05

enjoy choccy....
indie perfect timing for stopping the injections and the distraction of going away. have a lovely time telling the in laws.

kazz I get a sharp ovulation pain but it doesn't stay long, everyone's different though so I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. enjoy your holiday too!!

yikes it's about time I booked up!x

Kazz2112 · 25/05/2015 10:56

Have a lovely time Indie!

We're off to Barcelona in the morning! Up at 3am so trying to work out how best to make sure we get enough dtd-ing in because i somehow don't think DH would appreciate me jumping on him at 3am!!!

Just wondering - does anyone get pain around ovulation time and to what extent? The last couple of months ive been noticing it and its really quite painful. This month its definitely on the left. Last month was right across (twins run in my family so possible double ovulation) and the month before was right).

Just asking because at the moment it really is bloody painful. Especially DTDing. It also doesnt usually last this long. Its been over 24 hours now. I worry about everything these days!

girliesaints · 25/05/2015 10:53

Have fab time Indie and enjoy Choccy! X

Indiedog · 25/05/2015 10:15

Glad your having a a nice time choccy! Our flight is at three today!! Can't wait.
It's my last injection too, so I need the distraction I think, and try to stop me thinking it's all down to me now!
Feeling positive though.
We are going to tell the inlaws, well can't away without no drinking in Spain, you need a good excuse!
Also made my daughter a tshirt last night with Big Sister To Be painted on it!!!! Going to give her it whilst we are there too.

Hope everyone is ok, getting smilies, dtd and all that malarkey ??

Will check in whilst we are away if I can.
Take care all xx

Choccywoccydodah · 25/05/2015 07:22

Nipping on real quick while ds is still asleep (9.20 here, 2 hours ahead) and I have control of the ipad (rarely happens!!)

Just wants to say yes happy bonk holiday Kazz! Will be willing those little spermies on for you, and have a great holiday!
It's absolutely BAKING here in Rhodes, so am assuming the rest of the med is very warm too :)

Hope you get your smiley soon Claire!

Hi to everyone else! And happy bank hol, hope you're all doing something nice xx

Kazz2112 · 24/05/2015 20:56

Cool. Will just keep testing and baby making until I start the next pee sticks next Sunday!

I'm awaiting results from my latest set of lupus tests. First set at the rmc were inconclusive. Second set were low level so showing possible antiphospholipid syndrome. They've rerun them to try and get a more clear answer. If it comes back positive I'll be treated with heparin and not take part in the trial. Unsure what outcome I'd prefer but either way I'd like to stay on this board because I'm finding the cyber support really helpful. Real support from pepole who really do understand

clairemorgan81 · 24/05/2015 20:48

March of course we don't mind. I really hope this is your month so you don't have to go through it again. at least you have a couple of options now which can only be a positive thingSmile
kazz I test until smiley goes which is usually 36 hours ish I think. good luck fingers crossed for everyone. x

Marchgirl · 24/05/2015 20:42

I'm a bit of a fraud on this board now kaz Blush. Was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with high nk cells so now on the Coventry protocol of progesterone, steroids and heparin injections. It means I can't do the response trial as those drugs are not allowed, but I'm still here cheering you all on, and they've said I can stay on the books for response for now, in case the Coventry protocol doesn't work for next pg (then I'd go back to response). Hope you guys don't mind me hanging out here Hmm

Kazz2112 · 24/05/2015 20:35

I've just done it again. still smiley! Now just gotta go for gold and cross our fingers!

philippa88 · 24/05/2015 20:30

Woohoo kaz!!! Bet you're well chuffed with that :)

I tested twice the day after my smiley and the morning one was another smiley, but then by night it was gone.

Keep going girls, it will happen!! Xx

Kazz2112 · 24/05/2015 19:58

Does anyone carry on testing after their smiley? I really want to see if it's still there!

Why do you have to take the progesterone March?

Marchgirl · 24/05/2015 19:56

I'm feeling a bit better now the hormones are flushed through, thanks claire. Dreading taking the progesterone again this month. Really hope it's bfp just so i don't have the come down again. I normally ov cd17, with smiley the day before. Realistically I'll probably end up starting the testing on cd13 but will try to hold out longer, or it's really just a waste of sticks as I'm fairly regular
