how you feeling girlie? I hope your recovering okay?
ha I'm beginning to lose hope with ttc. it just doesn't seem to be going to happen for us anytime soon xx

girliesaints · 01/06/2015 16:58

Thanks Indie, no rush. It's on my list to sort out at some point along with all the jobs we've put off doing whilst we were in limbo x

Claire's, I have high hopes for you this month x

choccy forgot to add you are sooo slim!! very envious!!
I started acupuncture on Fri, hoping it helps as quite pricey x

clairemorgan81 · 01/06/2015 16:44

Hi ladies

here was me thinking you had all gone quiet as I've had no email notifications and I've just checked in and you's have been non stop!!

choccy - lovely little bump eek half way there that's fabulous.
kazz I hate preg testing so early it totally does my head in and I hate the disappointment, good luck its so early though. hope your okay about results. I felt similar when mine were all fine too.

pleased you got your early Smile. March , maybe the not planned approach will work I really hope so for you.

I got my pos opk last night (day 14) Smile

hope everyone is okay...... I use a little plastic shot type glass which belongs to ds teaset!!x

Indiedog · 01/06/2015 15:52

Girlie, I will ask my friend about who she used for acupuncture. I can't remember if she used it for giving up smoking or her fertility as she had IVF. Just can't place the time she was having it! Bear with me, I will text her later if that's ok. Xx

Kazz2112 · 01/06/2015 13:54

I know. It definitely helps being on here. Let's hope that one of my test results this week is a bfp

Marchgirl · 01/06/2015 13:27

Sorry you're disappointed about the results kaz. It's a horrible feeling to want there to be something wrong even though you don't want there to be something wrong iyswim. Not having an answer is the worst, although even if you had a clotting issue it still could have been difficult. I don't think either result would have been simple.

Really hope the positive prospect of being on the trial helps you to feel ok about it when you've got your head round it. At least it means you can carry on with response. And Just look at all the positives on this thread! You will get your baby. Keep the faith x

They've come back clear. Feel.gutted..was hoping for a simple answer

girliesaints · 01/06/2015 13:16

March ??

Kazza, hope the call goes well x

Kazz2112 · 01/06/2015 13:07

It always is! I'm currently sat at work waiting for the trial nurse to phone back about some tests results that could turn out to be something treatable. I feel physically sick

Marchgirl · 01/06/2015 12:14

You're absolutely right girlie. I'm always a bit 'do as I say, not as I do'!! So much easier to give advice than to take my own. Grin

Kazz2112 · 01/06/2015 12:05

Fingers crossed for you march! Maybe the fact you've not specifically been trying will help!

girliesaints · 01/06/2015 11:42

March, as a very wise lady said to someone else earlier (i.e you!) "try and not stress" know it's easier said than done but you only need one successful time.....

South Coast ladies, can I ask if anyone is having acupuncture and would recommend where they go? Looking into it but would prefer someone that people would recommend x

Marchgirl · 01/06/2015 10:40

Sounds like the signs are there kaz. Keeping fingers crossed for you.

Well I got a surprise smiley at cd13 this morning. Don't know what's going on but i normally don't get a smiley til cd16 (and ov cd17) maybe its the acupuncture that's done a particularly good job this month or the fact I was stressing about it happening whilst I'm away the next three days, but it's here. And unfortunately as I was trying to keep the crazies away by not testing too early, I have no idea if it might have been here yesterday as well. I know I should be happy but just feel a bit despondent as our timing has not been great for ov yesterday or today (and no effort made to 'improve the uptake' on those days we have dtd). Just feel like I've set myself up for another bfn.

I'm using clearblue. The screen shots below seem to suggest 50 but I've just read another page that said 25.

I also read you expect hcg to reach 25 11 days po. I'm only on 8 atm and suspect I naturally have lower levels. Women naturally have between 0.5 and 5 hcg which doubles every 72 hours. I think I'm. In the lower range as for my first pregnancy I did a test a day before my AF was due and it was negative but turned positive three hours later.

Not giving up hope..still early days and I feel sick as a dog atm. Never had that before bit have done since Saturday

Choccywoccydodah · 01/06/2015 06:46

Kazz which tests are you using? I thin someone said the cb ones were 50miu so not as sensitive. The cheap ones they give you are 20-25 of i remember rightly x

girliesaints · 01/06/2015 06:23

Keep going kazza. It can be demoralising at the time but when you get your bfp it will be worth it x

Kazz2112 · 01/06/2015 06:09

Day 2 in the big fat pg testing house and it's another bfn. No amount of squinting following a night of back to work insomnia could reveal a line! Absolutely shattered. Roll on bedtime and day 3 of pg testing!

Marchgirl · 31/05/2015 21:14

I'm waiting another couple of days before I opk again. Due to ov Friday. But I'm away Tues to Thurs so it's not looking great (just reading today on my app that best days timing wise are the two days before ov rather than ov day itself. Grrr.) Any smiley for you yet Claire?

OP posts:
Kazz2112 · 31/05/2015 20:22

Who else is waiting for bfps / smilies? March / Claire how are you getting on?

Good luck everyone. Really hope this week is a positive week!

Indiedog · 31/05/2015 19:59

Keeping fingers crossed for you, and everyone else xx

Kazz2112 · 31/05/2015 19:27

Smilie was last Sunday. Disappeared Monday afternoon

Indiedog · 31/05/2015 19:20

Kazz, that's only natural.
I got three or four days worth of BFNs before a very very faint Positive. I mean, I had to take it apart to be sure!
When was your smilie face?

Just try to remind yourself it's still early, your body has to do its thing, easier said than done, I know x

Kazz2112 · 31/05/2015 17:56

I started testing for a BFP this morning. Couldnt help but be disappointed when there was absolutely nothing there. Just thought if i'm going to get a BFP there would be at least a hint of a shadow there so i feel a bit gutted / frustrated / disappointed / tearing my hair out / thinking about doing another test because its like 10 hours since i did my last one?!

Please reassure me that i'm not the only person who has had these crazed frustrated thoughts?!

Did you girls who've had their BFPs get BFNs before your BFP appeared?x
