Very very very very faint bfp on a frer this morning, but accompanied by red blood with little clots, so it's looking like it might turn into another chemical Sad

Joy, can you not ask EPU if you can have an extra scan given your history, or ask A or J if they can arrange one? Sure everything will be fine but understand your anxiety x

Indiedog · 11/06/2015 20:15

You will get the Joy, hang in there.
I am well past 'my time' but still worry, on and off, and still want to get to each milestone, like next week will be four months.
It's only natural to worry at That Time, we can all totally relate to that.
Try not to let the negative overwhelm the positive, keep ticking each day off, another day closer to your next scan, and another peep at the baby beans xxx

Marchgirl · 11/06/2015 18:37

Hang in there joy. Not long now then you'll see those lovely little ones again. It's so hard getting past those danger points but you're doing something different this time (plus as they say, every pregnancy is different! ) hand holding x

Congrats on team blue choocy :) xxx

Joy2713 · 11/06/2015 18:08

Having a really crappy couple days... im now 10 weeks which is 'my time' and usually not picked up as mmc till 12 week scan! I saw the twins last week and they were fine and only 12 days till 12 week scan! But just cant help the negative thoughts!

Kazz2112 · 11/06/2015 17:25

Louise - just to put your mind at rest my wee is often neon after taking vitamin supplements like berroca and I know tesco pregnancy vitamins did it too.x

philippa88 · 11/06/2015 15:57

I just spoke to the trial nurse and she said I should ring the midwife once we've had the 8 week scan next Thursday. Just wish time would hurry up!!! X

Indiedog · 11/06/2015 11:48

Yes Phillipa you do. As choccy said, ring your docs, say your pregnant and would like and appt.
Then you see the doctor, they take all your details etc, and then this gets passed on to your local midwife team in your district. Then they assign you a midwife, and she will get in touch.
If after your docs appt, you haven't heard from a midwife say by 10 weeks, chase them up.

The midwife provides all your normal care, irrelevant to if you are on the trial or not.
She will fill you in on antenatal classes etc etc.

That will be your next job then GrinGrin

Choccywoccydodah · 11/06/2015 11:17

Philippa you need to still have your mw appts as the trial 'care' stops at 16 weeks :)
I was told to phone the Drs for my booking in appt after my 8 week scan, they'll do all your history etc and book your dating scan at 12-14 weeks (you can have one as well as you trial scan where they can test for downs risk etc).
They'll also measure your bump throughout pregnancy, test your urine etc x

LouiseM1987 · 11/06/2015 11:12

Choccy I never thought of tablets I'm on severn seas as I pregnacare didn't agree with me !
Oh Philippa I could of written that post I'm struggling to believe it too !
I don't have any scars so can't help you with that I'm afraid xx

philippa88 · 11/06/2015 10:50

The midwife? I've been told I don't need to see one as the hospital cover everything! Have all you pregnant ladies been seen by a midwife? Worried now lol!

Yeah I think I'll get some bio oil but tbh I think it's like deep inside me that's sore - not the actual scar. I'm sure it's just thing stretching but i did think I might get pain way back before i was pregnant.
I keep looking at my scan photo and still struggle to believe that's in me!! Has anyone else felt like that? I feel a bit guilty that I can't get my head around it! Xx

Choccywoccydodah · 11/06/2015 10:26

Awwww bless you sweetie.
Ha ha with the wee and me, it's the pregnacare for me.

LouiseM1987 · 11/06/2015 10:19

Oh that's so good hope I get that far tho you've made me cry ?? seems to be my only symptom I cried drying my hair the other day ! I want sore boobs or sickness not crying ! And I've now got fluorescent yellow urine both trial and dr said not to worry but I'm peeing yellow highlighter !

Choccywoccydodah · 11/06/2015 09:51

Claire and March don't lose hope yet!!

March agree about the limbs in the scan ha ha!

Louise apparently prof quenby likes to scan us at 32-34 weeks so you'll get one too!! I didn't know til yesterday, was a nice surprise

No scar tissue here (except on my fanjo from ds!!) so no help sorry Philippa.

Kazz2112 · 11/06/2015 09:44

10 dpo is still early. Crossing fingers it's implantation March and Claire .

My biggest tell take sign is a metallic taste in my mouth around the time of implantation. Had it with my first 2 pregnancies but didn't notice it the 3rd which was a natural miscarriage. I have a theory that that one never implanted properly because i didn't get the taste and I apparently have a bicornuate uterus so I think this may explain the differences

Indiedog · 11/06/2015 08:59

Don't really have scars Phillipa as you know, but stretch marks galore Wink.
Might be worth looking into Bio Oil, or something similar to help keep it soft and supple, or a good moisturiser like Aveeno.
Have you been to the docs yet to get midwife sorted, they may be able to offer advice.
Xx

philippa88 · 11/06/2015 08:45

Yey congrats choccy! A little boy! :) well happy for you!!
Sorry to hear af is looming for you ttc girls, spotting doesn't meant it's over though!

Do any of you pregnant ladies have any abdominal scars? I've got a 5 inch appendix scar then had surgery to remove stomach adhesions. I'm starting to feel quite achey behind my scars so googled it and people
say it's the scar tissue stretching as baby grows. Just curious if any of you have scars? Xx

Indiedog · 11/06/2015 08:29

Ah congrats choccy, I will have to get online and take a look at your scan!! Do my homework before end of the month!!
Looks like the pink pile in my house will have to wait it's fate until 28th!!

Sorry to hear of the dreaded signs of AF are lurking for some of you guys.
I never really followed signs so just went with the flow, excuse the pun! But I guess the more it's being waited for the more you notice etc.

Xxx

clairemorgan81 · 11/06/2015 08:16

sorry your having the dreaded brown too March. I'm pretty certain its not implantation as I have this every month before af. I think the month I fall I won't have it. what cycle day are you March?
I am cd25 peed off as dont think af will come until CD30/31 so brown here earlier than ever. its getting worse not better

Marchgirl · 11/06/2015 07:43

Great scan choccy
Gosh, I'm glad you told us what angle the first one was,it just looks like a loss of unattached limbs until you realise the angle!

10dpo today and still bfn. But then I've never had one before 11dpo. Yesterday I'd convinced myself i maybe was, and today I'm totally sure I'm not. I'm all over the place! Dreading coming off the prog. Acupuncture this morning so hopefully she can calm me down

LouiseM1987 · 11/06/2015 07:12

How come your getting another scan at 32 weeks I bet you feel better about ? Xx

Choccywoccydodah · 11/06/2015 06:30

Thank you Iona!!
Here you go again ladies!
March secretly yes hoped for another boy :) Ds was so easy (no guarantees I know!) but it certainly means we didn't have to 'break the news' he was having a sister ha ha!!!
Going to start sorting his clothes out today, I am so so so SO excited!!!!!!!!

Claire and March I though implantation too! What dpos are you on? Xxx

girliesaints · 10/06/2015 22:03

Team blue, congrats Choccy x

Claire/ March- could be implementation spotting.....

Marchgirl · 10/06/2015 21:17

Lovely news choccy. Is that what you'd hoped for?

Sorry you've had some spotting claire. If it makes you feel any more encouraged (probably not) then I'm spotting too
